Lonzo put a lot of work on his shooting. His shooting become a lot better. But, he needs to be more aggressive on attacking the paint.
He has nice midrange so he can also works on that
He needs to work on being able to attack the paint. He isn’t super crafty down there and his athleticism isn’t the type where he floats in the air and figures it out later and doesn’t have the length someone like Ingram does. I really want him to succeed i hope he figures it out.
Fax he def has nice midrange but he is sp athletic and able to get up i think hell progress and get more aggressive over time
I mean it doesn't really help that the pelicans had awful spacing in the paint this season

I use to roast this guy but his improved shooting and impressive IQ made me eat my words. Hes developing at a good rate. Not too quick,not too slow. It's also impressive that he learned to change his jumper twice. That takes commitment and hard work.

@@Mr.PR2000 I roasted his game because he entered the league as a turnover machine. This guy used to turn over the ball for no reason. Throwing it out of bounds and passing the ball to the opposite team. But that's all in the past, hes improved since and I hope he becomes an all star in the years to come

@@zefradragmagiestprominence7669 Almost guaranteed he will be picked up by another team as Lonzo becomes a restricted free agent, so it will be interesting to see him be picked up by a team that has plans for him and head into those career defining years to establish himself as a top tier player or fade into the crowd

Say what you want about Lonzo. But I feel like him or Jrue holiday have become the standard of what you want in your starting PG. Great passer, good defender, can hit the 3, can switch on defense and great in the in pick and roll
Yooo I appreciate this comment so much. Jrue Holiday really has been criminally underrated and his playoff impact while actually being on a contender really created a major spotlight to showcase that. Tbh I feel the same way. You want guys who have all-around potential. There are a lot of high volume scorers but you need someone who is gonna recognize situations and do the right thing and typically players like those two have incredible IQ's.
Congrats chicago for landing zo! don't forget that he can also clamp down his opponents. what a two way player he is and superb court vision.

Hitting a step back three off of the dribble is something Lonzo would not have the confidence to do in his first two years. It's a pretty darn good shot for him, now. Especially in times when the offense gets slow, he's able to take a couple of dribbles and create space for himself and not just for others. When they crash on him in the paint it's not just because he is open, but because he is more of an offensive threat now. That's so awesome to see. Great team defender and a pretty good.perimeter defender. He checks off a lot of things that Chicago really needed. It will be exciting to see this new Chicago Bulls team.

Lonzo always had an amazing touch. It was always that nasty form to his jumpshot that hindered his game. It was problematic for numerous reasons and impacted other aspects of his play.
Main was confidence. If he came in believing in himself he’d still be on the lake show.
@@presidentialkingdom2201 I'm not sure about that. It seems like the reason Lonzo isn't a Laker is because of Anthony Davis. The Lakers have always really liked Lonzo's game. They just couldn't pass up Anthony Davis. The Lakers even targeted Ball this offseason. Had a deal for Westbrook not worked out they would have gone after Ball.

His shot looks similar to Gel’os frfr. Next step for Zo on his offense is his finishing and free throws. He already got a nice lil pull up for pick and rolls so he don’t even need crazy handle if he can just finish at the rim with relative ease

Thats because stan van ghundy relegated him to a 3 and D role, that somehow worked to his advantage because he improved his jumpshots. Now if you watch a pelicans games you can see lonzo ball make plays for his team mates, and when he does it usually translate to points scored.

I find it odd he doesn’t really dance he’s a point guard but where are all his dribble moves it’s like he only shoots or passes I like that he’s worked on his shot it looks real smooth but I’d love to see him dribble and create his own shot just a bit. This is why he’s not considered a half court point guard.
