Finally a real rock hero on the channel.
Hell Yeah!
LOL, sure
And Tom Petty wasn't?
@@jamesgretsch4894meh not really lol
Glad to see you’re doing good, Mike!
I am happy for everyone’s recovery and that Mike is in love and super excited over his 1955 Gibson Les Paul Gold top P90’s, great guitar. 👍🎸😎🙏🏼✌️
Primarily Punk Rock. Cow Punk. Melodic Hardcore. Class of ‘78. Solid Gold.
Love Mike, funniest part was him cranking the volume higher than anyone else that they have filmed, I would have enjoyed his son jamming too but dad just kept killing it and didn't give him any room!
Mike Ness is one of my all-time favorite guitarists and singer-songwriters... "grew up" listening to Social Distortion and a host of other punk rock/ hardcore bands.
Glad y'all are still walking this earth 🙏🏻🤍
Mike is an icon. So cool that Julian is following in his dad's footsteps. You can see the bond- we need more of that. Love it.
I bought a ‘55 Bassman that Mike had gifted to his son Julian. 1955 is the year - imagine playing that Goldie through it!!!
I used to train Jiujitsu with Mike back in the day at American Gym in Costa Mesa, absolutely solid dude.
That's awesome! Couldn't go to a more deserving guy! Yeah, that guitar deserves to be played
I have an all gold 1952 Les Paul. My FOREVER guitar. The early P90's are amazing!!
This road leads to this, and that road leads to that. Her voice sends chills down my spine.
Glad to see you looking healthy and happy Mike!
Social D fan here. Mike and the band sounded awesome the last time I saw them in Dallas, TX. Greatness.
Social Distortion fan from Arlington! Howdy, Neighbor LOL I’ve been into them since ‘95!
It’s crazy last time I saw your gig norm showed that crazy double gold, damn Norman has 2 . So clean one with the original tags and case. Mike is a legend in punk rock and I thought , Mr Ness should buy it. And here we are voilà!!!!!😂❤❤❤❤
Norm’s 50’s guitars are like new, old stock.🎶🎸👍
Buzzcocks in Boston September 10th. I have my tickets and can't freaking be more excited. Mike looks good as hell! When the angels sing we all listen, but not yet my friends we have work to do!
That’s a fucking rock n roll legend right there….
Mike couldn’t stop fidgeting and playing that was great and touring with his son . Wow , Julian been on stage since he’s 16 he deserves it!!!!!❤
The baddest of the bad. Mike is the real thing, can't wait for the album
Absolutely love it! Can’t wait to see social D
With all the Social D albums I’ve purchased, I like to think I helped with that purchase 😅
Great to see you guys !!!! Cheers !!!
Yes !!! Luv Mike and the band !! Amazing to see him at Norms !! Legend !!!!
Another great video Norm, Not only do you have some of the greatest Guitars every produced, you have some of the greatest Legend/Musicians ever produced.. and in my humble opinion it is because you NORMAN are a legend! Thank you for years of dedication of keeping the Classic Guitars alive, and the Classic Legends who play them! from SE Texas a fan for life Bear :) ❤💯 🙏
Ecstatic for Mike's recovery. Have seen Social D many times. The show in Iowa with Bad Religion this May was outstanding. Julian is killing it with Lovecrimes. Looking forward to heading more.
Right 👍 on guys great to see Mike is doing well and still rocking baby new guitar new chapter
Thanks sir Norm! We all love ya Mike ❤
So happy seeing this
Cool mikes son also plays can't wait to hear his music
Mike is the man!
Mike's a good Dude !
Keep On Rock'n & Roll'n Brotherman !!
🤘😎👍🌴☀️🔥🎸🔥🎸
Been a few years since I’ve listened to SD regularly, but still consider Mike one of my all time favourite guitarists. Must have watched the Live In Orange County DVD about 200 times I think
Awesome!!! Huge social D fan also his sons bands is great too. Sounds like a younger Mike Ness!
Legends here !
Saw them in Reno and they are awesome waiting to hear more love crimes songs
Legend
I wonder if a good portion of the tonality of 50s gibby's might have been that the saddles/bridges were made of actual Steel rather than pot metal?
Excellent!
F it you talk I'm going to keep playing this guitar 😂 Guitar tone was that good to Mikes ear. Great to see you back Mike . Went to see the show at NY Pier 17 . Social Distortion and Bad Religion no way missing that. Felt 30 yrs younger and still do after that show. My thirteen yr old sons first show and stomp in the pit . That young opener was good, watch out Mike think he's trying to steal your show . Won't be an opener for long if he keeps it up
Hell, yeah!🤘😁🤘!
Atom Bomb… TnT 🧨
Hes awesome i love Social D
Wow pretty Paul...vintage pickups? Nice!
God Bless Beat Evil Cancer ! Crank it up
Hey Norm , what's the price on that 55 Mike bought ??
Thanks 👍
That's an amazing example of 55 with tuneomatic bridge, the best earliest l.p. imho.
Gibson guy P90 guy🤟🤟🤟🤟
Big fan of Social D !
Did I hear Julian say AJ Peat Guitar is there? I’ve heard that guy is a tone master and a legendary guitar maker. Where is he located?
185k for the Gold GoldTop🎸🔥💯
Boy, did I call that or did I call that?
He stole the blue sparkle from me on Reverb too. Man, I should have pulled the trigger on that one.
We used to know Mike Ness in high school as “Michael P. Ness”
Everytime Mike looked my way at Reno show I flexed muscles at him for humor and strength for his cancer ass beating. Hope he saw that..haha PUNXS UNITE!!
Norm's gotta get Billy Zoom in there.
I'll take it god damn it! hahaha
That thing is original? Thought it was a reissue. The Darkback looks cool too, and is really aged with that green through the top gold.
Yep Norm showed it off on a previous video a few weeks back. Norm has some crazy clean old Les Pauls, but he is looking to sell them now to good homes because he gets the fact you can't take that stuff to the grave or keep it in a vault forever. These instruments need to be played and enjoyed.
@@Thornbeard Ya man that’s so cool. Norm is the man. I did see that one video actually from a week or so ago.
Mike Ness 4/e! ❤
Gotta luv a "G" to a Gent
So what do you think this guitar cost 80 to 100,000
Can Chris get a tee shirt?!😊
I am surprised Mike can afford that!
How much did he pay for it?
Mike " Neegan " Ness .
Rob… You still owe me for that 4x12 you stole from me.
The only man that can put his hands on my fretboard and kiss my wife is my son❤
Any mics and maybe mic stands in this shop. People will watch bad video if the audio is good. Not the other way around unfortunately.
Play that thing quit teasing
I can’t hear!!
Nice Axe. Congratulations 👏 😍😠
Turn the guitar down, Mike😮 damn
for sure! jajajajajajaja we love u mike. 😄❤
and maybe let Norm talk ffs
He's shelling out big $$$- let him play it.
I admire Mike Ness and he’s a vegan 😎
Oh that is disappointing.
Stop slam’n the chords and talk about the guitar..
He's a great player but in this vid it's kinda nothing
great???? hes awful....like a beginner?? Im confused...never heard of this dude
If he'd stop noodling we could hear the interview.
Gotta say. After 3 decades as a HUGE fan, I just paid 100 dollars to see him. Which is ABSOLUTELY, COMPLETELY HORSESHIT! I will never ever pay that much for a concert again! Enjoy that fancy new guitar.
I know he doesn't care and will never see this. But as a long time fan, just really disappointed.
money does not buy you talent dude...wtf was this
Mike so annoying, he kept playing the guitar while Norm trying to talk. Most annoying thing, someone should have unplugged the guitar for interview segment.
I noticed that, maybe the amp pointed straight at the camera made it sound louder on film
@@williamdebene2394 haha, even his son had to put his hand on mikes guitar to get him to stop so his son could talk about his own band.
Just turn that treble to zero@@williamdebene2394
I’VE KNOWN MIKE NESS SINCE EARLY CRAZY 1980 HOLLYWOOD
STAY STRONG NOW MIKE
NOTHING BEATS A P 90 PICK UP
CARLOS GUITARLOS 90042 USA
Green Day did nothing but rip this legendary band off…Offspring did too
And they both were “inspired” by Stiff Little Fingers😉😉✌🏻
Bullshit.
Yeah, this argument is so lame.
