This was a fun watch 💕 I’ve also used the botanical inspirations oracle to pair with Marseille. Specifically the Ancient Italian and the Tarocchi Perrin. The threads of Fate oracles also pair beautifully with classic Marseille decks 💕🌻💕
Ooh I’ll have to try the Threads of Fate. I do like that oracle but I have the shadow edition so I’m not sure it will pair with anything I have out right now but I bet it will go with something I have in my fall/winter box! Thanks for the tip! I love Tarocchi Perrin. Someday, if I ever catch that plain tuck box copy at a reasonable price I’ll grab that one. That magician is so cute 🥰
This was fun to watch although I don’t really pair decks. I did for a bit to try it as an idea but that lasted a few months lol
😆 I totally get that! For me I’m all over the place. I started this pairing thing when I started watching RUclips which is around the time I started really using oracle decks. But, you never know what you will catch me doing any given day. I pair them when I wanna and then some days I don’t wanna be bothered. Some days no tarot just oracle, some days no oracle just tarot. 😆I’m a rebel. I do what I want. Let the tarot po po catch me if they caaaaaannnnnn 🤣. But to be honest the more RUclips I watch the more thematic I’m getting (or maybe the more decks I get 🤷🏾♀️) I did a reading for a friend the other day that was cat galore. When I was taking the photo I was like whoa. That’s a lot of cats 😆

This might be odd but I've been pairing the Squid Cake deck with the small/mini version of the Murder of Crows Tarot. I generally use them together for when I'm having an anxiety attack. I pull a card from Murder of Crows and that acts as the "voice" of my anxiety. Like, "What is my anxiety telling me right now?" And then I pull two cards from the Squid Cake and place it on either side of the Murder of Crows card and they represent the "treatment" for the anxiety. Or like a counter voice to my anxiety. Since the Murder of Crows is fully black and white it just seems to work with the Squid Cake for me.
Oohh that sounds cool! I did not even know there was a mini of the murder of crows! I looooove the idea of a mini black and white and then letting the squid cake color in the reading. If I ever acquire a mini b&w im def trying this! Thanks for sharing!!! 🥰
That was so fun to watch! I pair the Squid Cake Tarot with a french oracle deck called L'Oracle des Murmures. (I don't speak French but the keywords are very easy to guess anyway and Google Translate can read what I can't 😝). I really like this pairing!
