Unlike most Maine ice fishing channels that call a 5-pound togue a monster, and then hold them out towards the camera, so they look half the size of the fisherman (clickbait and a fraud!), that was actually a good size togue. They get much bigger. Best Maine ice fishing tube I've seen today.

Thanks, Randy. They surely due get much bigger, but he was definitely a monster for us and where we fish. We really appreciate you watching. Look forward to sharing our adventures with you in the future.

I have an abundance of extra ice fishing gear. Nice tip ups (traps) with big deep spools and drag systems for deep water and big fish. I would like to donate them to your kids. If you could email me a PO box or Address I would be happy to send them to you. We don't get much ice anymore down here in the Berkshire's and I trust you and your family would put them to good use.

@ it’s one of my favorites in open water. Most people say it’s better when frozen. There’s supposedly so many big touge there’s an ongoing study of them with trackers inserted into some. I never have time in the winter to do everything that needs doing as it is. I haven’t been ice fishing in years. Hopefully I’ll remedy that sooner or later.
