That has to be one of the BEST Fish fights on RUclips! Congratulations! Great episode, keep up the great work.
Thanks Joe. It was epic. Thanks for watching. We should do a collaboration some day. Good luck out there
Good job Liam! Proud of the way you stood your ground/ice cold fingers and all. That’s an experience you can tell your great grandchildren.
Thanks for sharing 😎
He did great.
Outstanding boys!!! Congrats Liam, what a memory. Man I miss those days with my kids. Congrats again fellas.
Thank you very much. As always we appreciate you watching.
Unlike most Maine ice fishing channels that call a 5-pound togue a monster, and then hold them out towards the camera, so they look half the size of the fisherman (clickbait and a fraud!), that was actually a good size togue. They get much bigger. Best Maine ice fishing tube I've seen today.
Thanks, Randy. They surely due get much bigger, but he was definitely a monster for us and where we fish. We really appreciate you watching. Look forward to sharing our adventures with you in the future.
Congratulations Liam. You and your dad will have that memory forever.
You got that right. Thanks so much for following along
Outstanding! You boys win for best video of the season so far. That is awesome! Congrats!

I've said it before Joe and I'll say it again, it's a treat to watch your videos and witness the patience you have while teaching the kids the ways of the land whether it be hunting, fishing or farming. Excellent job my friend.
Thanks Arlin. We always appreciate you watching. I'm not always as patient as U could be.
Right from the get go you give me whiplash because that music you used is the same as what Justin Barbour uses.
Joe, have you ever heard the expression:
If you don’t schedule maintenance for your equipment (truck), your equipment will schedule the maintenance for you. 😂
Loo free from youtube

He was all of 10 pounds great fish!!
I think ur right. Thanks so much for watching.
Hey guys, I’ve enjoyed your videos. Not an ice fishing guy but dang you make an entertaining video. One question, what’s a Toag? My great great grandparents moved here to Montana in the early nineteen hundreds from Brookton Maine. Still have relatives out that way. Hopefully someday I can come out that way and see the sights
Many people in Maine call Lake Trout, Togue and Burbot, Cusk. We really appreciate you following along from the west. Brockton is not far away.
Always remember the scoop..
Yup. Got to get one with little chisel on the end.
Liam came unglued lol
I think he might have peed a little lol lol
Nice laker
Thank you. We appreciate you watching
You're a good dad, nice job. Great catch Liam!! Do you not keep Lakers?
We usually keep the small ones for eating.
Thanks for watching.
I have an abundance of extra ice fishing gear. Nice tip ups (traps) with big deep spools and drag systems for deep water and big fish. I would like to donate them to your kids. If you could email me a PO box or Address I would be happy to send them to you. We don't get much ice anymore down here in the Berkshire's and I trust you and your family would put them to good use.
That is very generous of you. They would love it. Thanks so much for watching

@@FBMMaineOutdoorJournal I will send them off this week Joe. Only stipulation I ask is you'll have to sand off my name/ initials or paint over it. It's written with a sharp marker.
Liam I have a suggestion for your RUclips channels name:
Ahobs Adventures 😊
I will tell him
What Lake are you Fishing on?
I don't spot burn but it is in the St. Croix watershed. Really appreciate you following along.
I’d say 12-13 pounds beauty of a togue good job ahob
Our guess as well.
Thanks for watching.
Yall ever Fisk tunk lake?
Never have. I here good thing. You?
@ it’s one of my favorites in open water. Most people say it’s better when frozen. There’s supposedly so many big touge there’s an ongoing study of them with trackers inserted into some. I never have time in the winter to do everything that needs doing as it is. I haven’t been ice fishing in years. Hopefully I’ll remedy that sooner or later.
@ be careful in the summer though, lots of rocks right below the surface
I've heard of some giants coming out of there
Thanks for the tip.
You need to bring a maid in and clean up your camp why you guys are out fishing LOL
Maybe 12-15lbs? Nice
12 to 14 was our guess.
@ I’m from Massachusetts so I only caught them at Quabbin Reservoir down here. My biggest was 8 pounds but I’m dying to go ice fishing up north Maine.
Cool. If you need a good guide contact my buddy Ben Allen at Epic Adventures. He will set you right up.
I could take that bus put it up in the northern Maine woods far away from everyone. I could live in something like that..
Lol we try to tidy up before we leave. Boys will be boys
My guess is ten pounds
I need to get a scale and bump board lol lol Thanks for watching.
