Hello friends! So here is a reading vlog I started earlier this month. It's a timed 48hr reading challenge that I failed and ended up doing 24hrs but read FIVE books! I used the timer on my phone to time every single second of reading I did in 24 hours. This vlog is super chaotic and generally terrible but i thought I’d upload it anyway! I read a total of five books during this vlog, I hope you enjoy 💗
When browsing for books to read, i always look for book reviews via booktok, booktube, goodreads and waterstones. I love filming videos because it gives me a chance to talk about books which you guys might find interesting enough to want to read too! a lot of these books are books that booktube and booktok recommend and buzz about, let's see if I enjoy them too! I find it really difficult to dnf a book if I have a physical copy of it and it's pretty however with an ebook it's really easy for me to dnf and especially those that are just not working for me like It Happened When Summer by Tessa Bailey (dnfd it at 100 pages)...

Really fun idea and maybe I will try it myself. Also I am curious what are your thoughts on The Mistake? Because it is my least favorite book of this series. To finish this story I need to skip some chapters

I dnf so many books and it's so annoying because I feel guilty and want to go back and reread every single one. If I bought it I at least want to finish it even if I can't help whether I like the book or not. And then I can't read books that I've had on my tbr for sometimes many years and really wanted to get to. It's totally valid if other people like to dnf books, nothing against them, I just hate having to do it but most of the time, I can't force myself through a book I'm not enjoying
That’s exactly how I feel when I DNF!! I don’t tend too very often but feel so bad when I do! Totally understand what you mean it sucks!
@@VanillaMoon exactly i don’t feel as bad about dnfing a library book because i didn’t buy it but books are so expensive and most of the time i prefer to own them because i’m a slow reader

🦑🌺💗I've been seeing a lot of people doing this challenge and it looks really fun. I'll be taking a week off in June, so I may try to read for 24 hours while timing myself that week. I'm currently reading "The Shadow in the Glass" by JJA Harwood. I'm really enjoying it, but am annoyed that it doesn't have chapters. It has parts....the books is 406 pages and has 7 parts and an epilogue.
It’s so much fun! I’m definitely going to do it again soon 🥰 I have that one on my shelf and I didn’t know that! 😢 hopefully you’ll enjoy it all!
