Jamie didn't go near city hall, but the council have been lighting the exterior in the Ukrainian colours to show the city's support. It's where protesters/supporters gather too. Rather ironically or appropriately, depending on how you think, and sadly, the war memorial is on the opposite side of the street.

5:29 the walls look like those in Harry Potter movie!
I don't think the cathedral & it's grounds have been used in Harry Potter, but they have been used in several films. Nearby Elm Hill is also a very popular site for filming. The HQ for the heroes in the Marvel movies is actually the art center, located next to the UEA (university of East Anglia).

@@mrsmetalhead666 I've heard that in many places: Scotland, Ireland, maybe in Spanish. In the US, you'd use it with people you're likely to run into again (the market, the post office, the petrol station), but not with strangers

Never seen the cathedral so quiet. I love getting out the railcard and up to Cambridge and change for Norwich. Big history and some wonderful streets.

And to think, the best thing about my city you missed, was....me!! If you come back in the future in the van, you can always use my driveway. I'm just under 2 miles from the city centre. Sherpa obviously didn't encounter the cathedral cat, which is often lazing around, happy to pose for tourists!

Sherpas dedication to finding the next treat never gets old. When you told him to sit while you were getting coffee, he was so conflicted between doing as he’s told and keeping his head as close to counter height as possible! Love him to bits❤️

My (b)rat terrier Aednat wanted me to make sure that Sherpa knew that she's starting to have trouble getting up on things, too. (Was seeing you on the stairs.) Happens to the best of us as we get older (she's 16, now.)

Just started watching Sherpa's videos. The Church is amazing! It's massive, absolutely love it. I lived in the UK for two years and didn't see a church of that size. Love Sherpa, what a great "Man's Best Friend" and so friendly. And as for his Dad 👍.

Norwich is/was her home city. In the summer months (when not on tour around the country), the rail carriage her body was transported in back to the city, is displayed outside the The Forum Millennium Library & BBC Norwich studios. There is also a pub named in her honor opposite the cathedral, and a primary school.
Me thinks Jamie, your sense of "smelling" your way back to the van is second only to Sherpa's! I suspect Sherp's got more castles & cathedrals under his collar....than most doggos. What's a photo without him in it? Well being you two travelers! Wooowoooo!

Hello sweet Sherpa and Jamie, I lived in Norwich for a year, back in 1985. It's a beautiful city. I think the castle was closed then too lol. So I've never been inside it either. The cathedral looks beautiful. Sherpa is so good at posing for photos. He's such a patient boy. 🐕💖
