- Flat out CRAZY Race. First two minutes are boring, and then it just goes NUTS.
NASA sends out Spec Miata first, and we end up on our first lap flying through T12 blind onto the front straight to see the trailing end of the Spec E30 grid taking the green, and our closing rate is absurd. The next 15 minutes feature crazy wheel to wheel passing with Spec E30's who are way faster down the straights, and way slower in the turns

I was in Competition School on Friday, and I thought the Fun Race was crazy, but htis is insane! Looks like a lot of fun!
2nd wave wanted a bigger gap to back of SM, and E30s wanted the same to the 944... snowball effect. Made for an exciting video though. Great run through the field, sans the unwanted battle with Clark!

Looks like you and Clark in the white E30 were having fun showing that the SM is faster in the turns, and the E30 faster on the straights. You were on the knife edge every lap!

Rolo McFlurry Yup - what looked like being the ClustrF#$ck of the century turned out to provide some very entertaining racing, Made for an exciting 20 minutes behind the wheel!
Forgot to mention - last lap from 18:12 onwards - there must have been oil on the track - got very loose in T3 and T4 (say what?) and then went completely sideways in T5 and had several moments through T6. Not sure who laid it down

do you live around road Atlanta or did you travel there
Although I live in South Florida, Road Atlanta is almost my home track as OPM Autosports, the team that built and preps my cars, is based quite close to Road Atlanta.
That's awesome I live with my parents in chateau elan and so I'm right over there and I was thinking about getting a miata but I have a 1971 super beetle I'd have to sell first that's crazy that you get so close to the other racers when driving and don't hit them
