There isn’t much recorded evidence of Holley’s tenure with Wings. But he’s a great ‘feel’ drummer and that lineup with him and Laurence Juber was pretty hot and versatile.
@dannystrat Totally agree! Macca always demands the highest of musicianship. Holley and Juber are perfect examples! Both had tremendous versatility. I can’t say which of Macca’s post Beatle bands were the best, but they were all damn good!!! 😊
The Beatles first appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show was on February 9, 1964 and it was seen by over 73 million viewers and came to be regarded as a cultural watershed that launched American Beatlemania,as well as the wider British Invasion of American pop music. Ed Sullivan introduced the Beatles at 8:19 PM, when Paul sang "Close your eyes and I'll kiss You..." The famous first line from "All my Loving", followed by "Till There was You." The group returned later in the program to perform "I Saw Her Standing There," and "I Want to Hold Your Hand."
Yeah, yeah, yeah!! Hey, that's GiGi Wong-Monaco, Chicago Zumba and Ukulele teacher, teaching Beatles Zumba in this news clip!! She's been teaching at the Chicago Fest since 2015!
That looks like SO much fun! I wish I could be there!
Long live the Beatles !!!
I’m 68, I grew up with their music. My opinion, they changed music… for the good.

Glad they do something like this. Yay Beatles 🎉❤🎉
Not nearly enough time given to this momentous event in history. Interview was okay I guess.
