I wish I could meet a Gritty Soldier in the wild, that would be very motivating to anyone's workout
🤘 I’m out there! 😆
Hahaha loved it! "Nobody cares! Keep training!" Broo! I am starting to recover from a shoulder injury, your videos motivate me to not drive crazy! All I can do is run and core lol. Keep up the good work
💪 good to see you brother! 😉
This is the greatest channel. I love all your information! Could you walk through your weekly regimen? I know you are a hybrid athlete, but do you run, ruck and lift everyday? Please let us know what a week in the life of Gritty Soldier looks like. Thanks! Keep up the amazing work and motivation!
I’m 21 I believe there’s nothing I can’t achieve these videos are getting me motivated right now I’m trying to get fit n get a month clean and try and enlist and be a beast of a solider ranger school and hopefully sf keep at it
Hell SIR, Your famous, I,ve got tons of respect for you and what your doing! From an old 11B. THANK YOU!!!!
😂 thanks man!
I just got back from Ranger School sir and I have been using your program as a train up and it definitely helped. I wasn't able to get past RTT but that won't deter me, I will just readjust and reengage.
Yep. Just fix what happens and you’ll crush it when you go back! 👍
awesome resilience homie, keep after it
Love the motivation. Might be out of your specific area but wanted to ask if you could do a video on what the obstacles, physical training, and AFTs look like at CHOBLC. Trying to prepare for CHOBLC but not sure what it entails as far as the physical aspect of the training.
Sir, any recommendation for run/ruck routes for Fort Bragg? Just got settled into the area. Thanks!
Stay out the Murk.
Mata, Ritz Epps (where is was), Smith lake, cape fear River trail, and just adventure off the side of the roads on bragg TBH. Lots of good trails.
What is a "WINTER RANGER" I keep hearing this term but nobody says exactly what it means .
Went to Ranger school during the winter months.
The one thing I don’t like about ft bliss is there is no obstacle course
I guess they finally shut down the air assault one there?
@@GrittySoldier yea. It has to be scheduled and it’s a pain in the ass so no one ever does
Could you upload to rumble aswell?
I'd like to try to see if I could pass Ranger School but I don't know if I can being in an NG unit
You can!
Which headphones do you run with? Do you like them?
Their MPoW flame lights. And I get them from eBay for like $15 but they work great. They go out after some use but then I just order more.
Jesus is lord
Gettin' a lot of motivation from these videos, Gritty! I was an infantry officer 30+ years ago and I still integrate much of this into my physical fitness training fighting off old age. BTW, my son is an infantry officer, too and is in Day 1 of Ranger School. RLTW!
RLTW!
Jesus died for our sins and is coming back soon repent before it’s too late
From hearing you say in early videos that it’d be cool to see another Gritty Soldier to being recognized a few times; that’s raaaaad. I literally threw this on mid ruck in the suck; rain and cold; and hearing his antidote “nobody cares; work harder” is nice. That’s exactly what I needed! Thanks dudes!
“My leeeeeeegs…”
🤘
Sorry if it’s been asked I’ve watched numerous videos and can’t find the answers. Just curious which app you use to track runs and which watch you have? Thanks again. Not military but LEO here. Thanks for the motivation Gritty
Strava is the app and I use a Garmin Vivoactive 4
I’m constantly telling dudes in my unit about your channel. You’re an awesome leader! I appreciate your dedication.
🙏
What plate carrier you using in your videos when you run?
It’s the 5.11 TacTec 👍
I'm trying to train and want to gain muscle but be able to run and gain muscle weight and maintain my run speed been watching your videos for months now and I actually do you 300 workout you came up with but I need more endurance and some calorie intake advice
I'm 52 years old and I like your show. I like your videos and I'd like to message with you. I've sent you a message on Facebook as well. I'm just getting into looking but I would like to learn more and no more about it
My final semester of my MS3 year of ROTC. Going to try to work to give myself the best shot of getting my infantry slot.
What plate carrier do you use? Is it the 5.11?
Watching you keeps me motivated ,if I was in your area I would go running with you. I am sure your 14K followers would all be running in formation with you.
Awesome!
What brand plate carrier is that?
I am mad envious of your access to that O-Course. The obstacle course and rucking was always my favorite PT. Good times.
Indispensable channel for training.
Awesome video Ranger/ Gritty Soldier hoorah. Always motivational and inspirational Charlie Mike. 10mi iz awesome lol. Post last deployment in 2007 I enjoyed running but had to balance it with martial arts. lol combatives kinda rubbed off on me and encouraged me to continue post military service. Anyways peace and blessings gritty soldier
To go along with what you were saying mark twight said "appearance is the consequence of fitness"
Absolutely agreed.
✌️keeping high speed out here in Colorado Springs, Colorado gritty soldier! 💪keep up the good work!
💪
Running with vest plate or none were sand rasp we had run on beach climb on burns
I was 6..for 1..205. Going into Ranger compound. I could do..100..pushups. 100 situps. In 2 mins..plus..minus 10. Run..sun 6 min miles..for 2 or 3..intervales..and run a 10km.in 45 mins .I crushed city phase..swamp..smokes..every one..lol
The more things change, the best stay the same.
If you see my lunch out there from 93-94, send it back to me. THAT tank trail run is one of the best wind-builders that you can ever get. I miss Bragg for stuff like that.
I'll vouch for that rope climbing. Don't puss out, and get it. You get up there, lose your form, then you're cursing your mom for giving you birth, when you pull a shoulder. USE THE LEGS, that's why you have them!
Do you recomend running everyday?
... I know those powerlines well...
Yes! I was wondering if we’d get a new vid this week!
Do you have any tips on how to deal with shin splints? I took a month off running and did calf strengthening, tibia strengthening, and achilles stretching yet after running for only 15mins twice a week they’re back. I just ordered a shin scraper but if that doesn’t work I don’t know what I’ll do
Stretch the calves A LOT, Epsom salt baths might help, and rolling the calves. Try all of those things.
@@GrittySoldier Will do. Thank you
That’s awesome! You deserve recognition. I started train up for efmp, my shins are killing me now and it seems legs can’t heal properly s what do I do
Epsom salt baths, stretch more especially the calves, recover using the pool or elliptical 👍
What running app was he using?
Keep going High Speed! Rah
Let's go Gritty! Look at the time! Rad job!
🙏
I use cronometer for macro and micronutrients. Great calculator that has changed how I ate.
Good Video from an Old Marine. SFMF!
This is good stuff. I wish I knew about this channel before I did IOC on the USMC side. I could have used a lot from this channel.
Awesome video dude! Been training for endurance a lot lately
Outstanding!
100!
Very cool. Great training this weekend and explanation on the ropes. Would love to see more rope work. Look forward to upcoming vids. Have an excellent week, sir!
👍 🙏
I personally prefer the J hook, but that one works too.
What an awesome interaction!!!!!
That’s super awesome! Hell yeah stay at it!
Hey Gritty Soldier! I'm wondering does your advice apply to multiple things like RASP and not just Ranger School?
Absolutely! It’s not just Ranger School!
Very motivating sir
My goal for this year is to go to Air Assault school. However, I'm not really high speed with pt like that. If you can remember starting from the bottom, do you have any tips on training myself up to that level?
Yea definitely. You’ll want to focus hard on running, rucking and calisthenics. Calisthenics mainly for the obstacle course and the smoke sessions. You don’t want to go to air assault in less than great shape, because then the smoke sessions interfere with you studying throughout the day, and the ability to retain information. If your in good shape, they won’t be a big deal, and will just hep walk you up! 👍 We have an Air Assault fitness program for prep as well: grittysoldier.com/collections/fitness-programs/products/air-assault-prep
Thanks for the tips
Hey bro I’m new to the channel, just wanted to say great work keep it going. You’re putting out great info. Wondering if you can tell me what app do you use for that run
Strava 👍
My favorite channel… Thank you! I won’t lie, I work out for shape/looks. I need a goal to your point. Thx for the leadership!
💪 🙏
Hey! Looking good sir!!
Gritty mate! Salutes from Colombia, South America! Your videos are motivating people even outside the US. Got into trial running because of your videos. Keep the good work
You inspire us sarge
Though everybody hates the acft leg tuck, would it be fair to say that movement can assist in your rope climb?
This 👆
I was listening to this while doing my lift and then I hear "Nobody Cares Work Harder" and that pushed me to a few more reps.
💪 🤘
Where's your plate carrier from? I wanna buy one to train!
It’s a 5.11 TacTec 👍
you should post some weight training videos! You have a lot of lean muscle mass.
💪
3mi ruck (40lbs) w plate Carrier / 3 miles with just plate carrier / drop carrier and run 3 more miles. Solid workout.
@Gritty Soldier I was wondering what is the RASP packing list?
What kind of plate carrier do you use?
5.11 TacTec
3rd Batt? Benning? BRC , do you train with you’re Ranger Buddy? Do y’all hit the Darby Queen in BRC?
Hey ! Where did you get your plate carrier ? Do you recommend a certain brand? Would love to start training in one! Great video keep grinding!
I use the 5.11 TacTec. Love it
Dude, you fun to watch, great motivation. So do you have multiple boots, 1 for rucking and 1 for office same boot?
Yeah multiple boots for different parts of the day, but all the same model. I have 2x dedicated pairs for rucks/field and 2x for office/garrison.
@@GrittySoldier thanks for the quick reply. So i just got the Garmont NFS. I’m going to try them and compare to my GORUCK Mac v 1. Which are super nice to. We shall see. Have a blessed night bro.
thank yo for this video I've been training for the military. I want to be a ranger or a pj but these videos you post give me motivation to not quit and to push on
🤘 hell yeah!
What app are you using?
Strava 👍
You're a monster! I can barely hold that for 3 miles.
What is your training split for your strength training? Are you doing full body daily, upper-lower or some form of push-pull-lower? Would love to learn about your programming method!
I may have to develop a hybrid-plan based on my own specific programming 🤔
@@GrittySoldier would love to see it! I'm active duty now. Always struggle cause I like the variety from constantly varied and full body work, but I also feel that volume in a specific movement pattern (push, Pull, sqt, lunge) is important too. Kind of like the idea of dedicate a session one thing and you will build that better than doing everything a little bit, where ur not getting a lot of work on anything?
Another great video and info. Good preparation leads to better results. Looking good out there. Great job.
💪
Would you recommend a weighted vest to wear during training?
Yeah but I’m moderation, you don’t want to overdue it with adding extra weight.
@@GrittySoldier thanks ill check it out
Hi man, I have a question for you. When you run with plate, you are easy or no ?
Going to back to air assault school this Tuesday
Crush it!
@@GrittySoldier i will air assault!!!
Gettin’ Gritty!
🤘
how would an overweight individual be able to train similarly to your regiment? I'm currently overweight but have been working out for a few months now and recently discovered your video because of some my past experience with running a lot in high school but falling off track due to covid , what would be the best way to come back into safely.
Bike riding, walking, rucking, or swimming. Goodluck on your journey
Awesome
Is that area J?😭
Behind ritz epps
“The keys to Area J are behind the box of chem light batteries in the First Sgt’s office private.”
You speak too much
You know these videos are optional for you to watch right? 😂
