Not really overkill. Main difference between commercial and prosumer is that the parts are rated for commercial use. I basically used in home environment and was a great time.
So frustrated. Have spent hours trying to dial in my grinder. At 18 grams, after you tamp, how high in the portafilter are the grounds (before pulling your shot)? Are they touching the little round thing in the center of the shower screen?
my issue with mine (not exactly an issue) but my boiler pressure will always try to keep it at max 1.5 and if it falls to 1.4, it startd reboiling. yours seem to wait until it falls down to 1.0 before reboiling to 1.5. that saves more electricity. do you know how to adjust this
I like how real your review is. Thank you.
Bought mine in early Feb. Love it.
do you vent off steam before turning off yours? or do you just turn off straight away with no steam venting
How is this maxhine for home use. Would it be overkill.

From time to time. Depends how fresh. Not sure what to suggest. Which grinder, which beans? Touching center doesn’t really affect shot much

Go to the espresso outlet RUclips, I have a pretty simple minimal disassembly
Video for this machine. I believe you can adjust the pressure stat
Might be an idea to plan and prepare your materials BEFORE you start filming….
