Hey everyone,
in this video we are going for a luxury watch shopping tour in the Dubai Mall. I bought one of the watches I am going to show you. Can you guess which wrist watch I bought? Rolex steel sports? Hi Niko! I think you went with the Seamaster but I could be biased as I have the exact same one in my collection (black one). It is an AMAZING watch... somehow after more than 18 months having bought it, I still am in honeymoon phase. Very difficult to explain. I personally also like the Zenith Revival but as you said it's not your style I assume you didn't go with that one.

100% agree. Don't understand the hype for the Tudor while people can walk into a store and grab a a well made and innovative seamaster. I think you got that one! It is a really good deal!
Alex Maier well, a SMP is big and thick, while a BB58 is classically sized. Different audiences.
I bought a Pelagos, at a very good price, which was $1000 less than the seamaster. I didn't like the silly manual release valve on the seamaster.
I like omega watches , but feel your being a bit dismissive of Tudor which gives you a lot of watch for the money.
@@johncoyle8191 Everyone wants to justify their purchase. I don't understand why so many Omegas are on the Grey Market. Every model, seriously reduced. If I was buying an Omega from an AD, I would demand a 15 to 20% discount. He knows his watches are available much below retail.
@@rickjason215 l would never pay full retail for omega. Not that they're bad watches . It's just that they're easy to get. Buyers market not like Rolex , Patel or AP which are seller's market . Doesn't make them not worth getting . It just means as the buyer you have the upper hand over the seller
Fun video exploring possibilities. I would guess ya got the seamaster or one of the zeniths. I think they looked the best on your wrist. I actually just purchased a planet ocean this week. Waiting on the AD to get it from Omega and ship it to me.

My pick from the watches that you showed will be the Zenith El Primero 1969 reissue 38mm. But I will not be surprised if you chose the Seamaster or the Black Bay 58 Black, as I hve one and really like it. But my own next watch will be the Zenith.
Basing on how you described each watch, guess you grabbed the seamaster. Bottom pieces on my list would be the hublot, breitling, and the panerai.
Seamaster but you should start sailing, and it's another price range.
If you’ve done your homework, which I don’t doubt you have I hope you bought the Zenith El Primero. The aficionados choice and looks stunning too. Zenith don’t get enough love, totally different to most of your collection too. Rolex not enough available options. Tudor, first choice BB blue not available. Breitling limited edition doesn’t automatically mean collectible & not attractive. Omega too predictable. Hublot no in house movement. Panerai too big on wrist. Looking forward to seeing what you bought. Great content as always. Please go back for the Hublot, for your next piece, so much hate from the WIS community for such a great brand.

The zenith defy 21 open worked dial definitely adds a unique piece to any collection. The different case materials are nice also.

Dubai Mall is definitely another level...you could swap a week at the gym for exploring this place! Some great picks, I think probably the one to go with would be the Santos with the gray dial. You're right that the Cartier Santos is pretty scratch-prone on the bezel especially, but on the gray dial variant, it's ADLC coated so that it's more scratch-resistant.
My guess is you ended up buying the Hublot or the Zenith Defy though. I've seen a few of your videos coming back to these I feel like maybe this might have been that trip that pushed you over the ledge. Can't wait to find out what the big reveal is though!

That Cartier looked good, though I know nothing about the brand. Wasn’t crazy about any of the Zenith watches. The Breitling is an investment watch? I want to love a watch and want to wear it. The Hublot was extremely dressy. Tough to choose.
Breitling as an investment watch , don't know if I agree with that. Very soft brand . And apart from that imo that particular watch is hideous. It looks cheap

John Coyle They have a Breitling at the watch case at Costco. Just one Breitling. It’s been there for over 2 years and nobody wants it. It’s 6 grand and highly discounted. You put a Rolex there and I bet it gets sold.

I'll be the outlier here and say you opted for the venerable classic Zenith El Primero.
I'm going to guess you went with the Panerai, looked killer on your wrist and you seemed surprised by how much you liked it, which is often a sign that a watch sings to you. I agree on the green Hublot, many it is sexy. But close to $7k for a base movement?
I was hoping you would try out some Railmasters! They are stunning. The best watch of the ones you tried, the white dial speedmaster.

Zenith, Cartier or Omega are great choices. The new breitling doesn't do it for me. Would choose any watch in this video over that. The older superocean is much more handsome IMO

I guess that you took the Seamaster, because it is very attractive for around 4000€ with a ceramic bezel and in-house movement. Would love one of these with a rubber strap

@Nina_Abroad It's a really beautiful watch but not really my thing. Plus I may exchange my watch in 3-4 years, so resale value is important to me, that's where I think Rolex(certain models), Tudor Black Bay's, Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch have good resale value.

Na klar ist die Rainbow Superocean ein gutes Investment, jedenfalls für Breitling Verhältnisse. Selitta Uhrwerk hin oder her, weltweit 250Stk. sind für Breitling wirklich nicht viel. Ich hätte glaube ich da zugeschlagen. Die Classic Fusion finde ich auch wirklich schick aber das Basis ETA Werk ist schon eine ganz schöbe Frechheit in der Preisklasse. Schönes Video übrigens👍

The Seamaster represents fantastic value - i have the blue version on bracelet - it's a keeper!. The Superocean Heritage is not great value - the Rado Captain Cook is a better and cheaper proposition

TheDubaiExpat - Ignoring the hype I feel the Blackbay 58 is straight away a wonderful watch....whether the old one or the new one... water resistance, size, history, looks and wearability all set in its favour in my opinion...

Thank you for great review! Omega Seamaster Professional the Best choice from selection. I guess you got one with blue bezel which is amazing. Also, Omega is would be a my choice as well. I like both Seamaster and Speedmaster. Moonwatch is big for my 6.25 wrist, but smaller FOIS looks great. This can be my choise. Tudor I dont like as a brand. They are making good watches, but for me this is a cheaper brother of Rolex. And I cant change my mind. Hublot is overpriced and overadversited. IMHO. Panerai is great with Radiomir. Try Pam620 if its available, 42 mm and very slim. Amazing watch. Which is slimmer and fits great! Duo is the worst choice from Panerai family, in my opinion. Zenith ElPrimero is great but too shiny for everyday watch. Breitling good with price. In Europe they are giving up to 40% discount from factory retail price. If you dont mind with "non-inhouse" movement, Breitling can be a good choice for every dollar spend. Me personnaly like Navitimer series. Cartier is one of my favorite. I love that brand. I tried Santos and found thats is a little big for me. I personally like Drive de Cartier series, thats only is Cartier made "Male watch", means made especially for guys. I tried one and thats was great. Perfect as an everyday office watch, IMO. Tank is also good, and timeless classic but too boring for me. Thats my point of view. Waiting for new video, Niko. As I know, the Breitling dont have a selita , but they have a Tudor movment and in change the Tudor cronos have the Naitimer movment.
But the Seamaster is beautifull. I am getting a Speedmaster this year for my 18th birthday Wonderfull Watch. And a very nice Video I can see that you are making your videos with love.
Great perfect choice and nice to have youngsters getting into the hobby! It is one of the few channels here that is authentic and shows our everyday struggle

Breitling as an investment. Id run out of there! You bought the Cartier Santos in Blue. What a stunner. Classic and from a great luxury brand. Anything but Hublot or Panerai. Hopefully you got it with a great discount.

Panerai on the other hand is disappointing.
For me Cartier is for over 50 old people, Seamaster and Speedmaster look the best for me. Zenith is for me mainly kitchy , Hublot and Panerai are just fashion.

Omega seamaster highest probability. That’s a lot of watch for approx 4K. I think having the Tudor 58 blue also makes sense. Different vibes at same price.
