First button holes I learned were horizontal from Joy Bernhardt. I like the horizontal ones the best.

I préfère horizontal buttons on thicker fabrics such as coatings. Larger buttons need longer buttonholes and I dont want that vertical opening to be able to gap. Perfect timing for my jacket project 😅
