Love the COH content! Turin I’m hoping your plans for expanding the channel in the new year are a massive success :) One of the things that draws people to your channel is your incredibly positive demeanor while playing these sometimes stressful games. It makes me want to root for you! All the best and thanks for the fantastic content
nice! your doing much better than the last time I saw, there are a couple of mistakes worth mentioning but honestly you did really well. 1. you didnt need the bazooka upgrades on your paratroopers at the start. what makes paratroopers really nice is they start anti infantry then turn themselves into anti tank within seconds, which means the enemy always needs to be cautious about them. Your early bazookas just didnt do anything helpful for a long while, gave away that there are bazookas up there, and as you learned later, could have just grabbed their bazookas as any armor threat tried to push up and counter. 2. this wasnt punished in this game, but you need to start pulling your armor back further from the frontline when you retreat them. a classic strat is to just ignore the one or two infantry squads and rush at the retreating tanks with whatever you have, kill it, then retreat back home. 3. you needed the ATG at the top just sitting there far sooner. German players get a big rocky hard on for getting armor free of your lines and roaming your rear without a care. The fact this particular German player made poor use of it doesn't mean others will as well, in fact, better german players could have probably won the game from that position. 4. you lulled in the mid game switching from the attack, which you were winning hands down, to a defense, which you struggled to keep up, to the late game when you attacked again and finished the game. The moral of the story is you probably could have won ten minutes earlier if you just kept up the attack from the early to the midgame. a minor note about caches, caches are fine in 1v1 if your winning and know it. they at that point are a win more mechanic. Like how SC2 players after defending a attack flawlessly will build one or two more bases instead of trying to attack. they might fail the attack, but they will for sure win the game if they are up a base on their opponent. Same idea for caches in this game. especially if you can lock down a fuel cache.
Amazing entertainment!! I have been watching COH casts since 2010 - yours are up there with the best! You must keep these coming when COH3 drops in February.

@5:08 Mines at points definitely works really well, but it's probably only worth making one per point, given the pretty big expense. @16:55 Forgetting that the Flakpanzer does more than mulch infantry is always funny to watch. @19:37 Honestly, I'm kind of surprised he didn't make a move for your base, since he had practically everything on the beach there: I don't think you had anything that could stop him from parking at the HQ and mulching everything that retreated.
Fun to see you play my Old Man RTS my friend. No macro needed whatsoever😂 however: spend your fuel! You were floating 200+ fuel while the opponent had 2 fat vehicles. In CoH2 the first tank is a huge moment in any match.
Nice video, first time watching you! Building mines is fine, but try not to put them so close together; most people with 3 models down from an explosion will retreat and that's fine, you got what you wanted from those mines: commit less resources on defending. If you plant two and still don't kill the squad (squad move pretty spaced in CoH3) is a total waste and he will be expecting more shenanigans and be more wary. A big tip for you would be build 2/3 sections of sandbags and put barbed wire on the opposing side, your rival woun't be able to use the sandbags from his side to get green cover against you but you are cozy and well protected on the other side. Remember too that cover is directional, you could be in green cover but ift he enemy is shooting you from the read it won't matter.
This is crazy smooth. There's lot thing going on but the one thing that make the video very comfortable to watch for me is that there's isn't even one time a unit let and get forgot and died. You know where all your unit at, you place them where they needed and you retreat them.
What a great tactical play, you did awesome by taking the initiative with the light vehicle and keep moving the area of engagement around! Catching those panzers with their pants down

Great game to watch! Looking forward to watching more.

So much improvement since that first stream! Quicker reaction time would help a lot, peep the minimap/unit cards at the bottom for quick status checks.
I'm not sure if Bazooka's are similar to in CoH3 as they were in 1&2 but if so... Generally they're good against light armor, but anything heavier you really can't have them just face the armor and expect much. They're best used for supporting AT guns and flanking the armor for rear hits, they'll lack the penetration to get front armor shots through. AT guns have much higher armor penetration, they'll usually get shots through front armor unless you're facing heavy tanks. Of course if AT guns get rear hits you're even better off. Also a note about sticky grenades. If a vehicle is (or gets) below 50% HP when a sticky grenade hits, it won't just slow them down, it'll damage the vehicle's engine, which makes it slow until they are repaired back up to 90%. That's something to keep in mind.

@turin please when casting Company of Heroes games change the camera using "Alt" or "Ctrl-Alt" and mouse to allign it so that your base is at the bottom of the screen and enemy base is at the top of the screen. It helps a lot in understanding of the battle and other factors. It is also the same camera you use in Total War games 😄
Personally, I prefer the pathfinders into WSC opener. Pathfinders are good enough to play the role of rifleman until you start dropping in actual paratrooper squads, and they have access to rifle grenades and smoke without having to pay for upgrades. Then you can buy MG teams and bazooka teams for AT without spending munitions. I don't really see the paraMG team being worth it unless you're immediately opening with that very first thing to grab and lock down a key building or choke point right off the bat.
The early game MG was pretty clutch. You could try a sniper too. If you move it from building to building, it clips enemy squad member and when your opponent has a lone squad down 2 guys, he is gonna retreat to replenish. So he spends his time just running around and you also bleed manpower. There is also the psychological factor, because hopefully he starts to spend his time finding that sniper. Snipers also hard counter MG teams.
Complete noob here but I tried the beta and found that the MGs would often just shoot my sniper as soon as he revealed his position by firing. Even if I got him to shoot from his max range, the MGs could still shoot back. I guess their range matches it?
Snipers seem to have changed significantly. I feel like their recieved accuracy is much higher, making them easier to kill with small arms fire, they might be better in buildings now rather than being primarily a stealthy micro heavy way to bleed to opponents manpower.
@@Rmag37 The balance is going to change many times in the near future... I think the snipers basic role is the same, but we will have to see if they need to be in buildings all the time

At the start of the game you might be better rotating you engineers to where you think you'll be fighting the most, (usually the middle on this map) and wiring off his cover to favour your future engagements. Keep up the good work! :)
Please set up a PSTD channel for the old veterans with shaky hands and slow reflexes. I have always enjoyed this franchise but get absolutely wrecked if I even think multiplayer.
Yeah, I haven't had a chance at the beta test. But, if 3 is anything like the previous 2, I would really suggest you make an effort towards fuel quickly at the beginning. Expecially if CoH 3 Germans are as reliant on fuel for late game as they were in 2, contesting and limiting their intake will be a detriment to their progress.

reminder : units that are in "very" close range to enemys ignore cover so no bunuses inside a few meters
damn GG turin awesome game
You should chase down retreating forces with the greyhounds
Please set up a PSTD channel for the old veterans with shaky hands and slow reflexes. I have always enjoyed this franchise but get absolutely wrecked if I even think multiplayer.
Is the beta over? How is Turin able to play?
these are old recordings from the beta, he casted a bunch the final night so he would have content for a bit
Finally someone showing airborne
Blitzkrieg mod is the best grafic explosions and all i stay with the mod but iam happy its still going on
Still amazing how CoH 1 is still far better than any of the new stuff
Kind of gameplay similar to Dawn of War so this game in 40k universe + gladius on world map = total war warhammer 40k, sound good!
Unnnnggghhhh the wait is so longggg
I skip the barracks and go straight to the motorpool when playing airborne
I'm so hyped can't wait for a me coh
Wish i'd seen you play CoH 1 ! Unfortunately this looks like a step back from the first two games.
I think this will be amazing game
Shit, I didn't even know there was a third one coming! DoW4 after I hope!
I really love the content even tho I have no idea whats going on. How about making a simple video explaing to us warhammer folks what this game is about?
I think if you played or narrated Men of War, that shit would be insane.
are you still in the beta?
Nope! Saved up replays
@@turinRTS Was wondering! Thanks. Question in regards to your setup, what mouse do you use and what sensitivity?
That carpet bombing was sick!
this game seems pretty cool
