Not only Sikhs but Hindus also have deviated from their true Path.
If we study in depth Sikhism and Advaita/non-dualistic Vedanta are monoism, not monotheism. Sikhi believes in Seva and the same has also been said by Swamy Vivekananda for Hinduism i.e. "service to mankind is service to God". He also urged his followers to follow the path of Dashmesh Guru.
Today Hindus mostly follow the dualistic Vedanta, which can be compared with Monotheism or Polytheism.
We are seekers hence we always keep evolving and learning. Today we are deviated due to Continuous Wars and violence among our own brothers.

Such deep philosophical discourse on the name of Ram.
I dint know the sikh scriptures are so deeply spiritual.
    P. S. - after listening to shri satpal ji i have understood that it's just our ego when we say Sikhism is part of hinduism, and the same way it's ego when sikh people say we have nothing to do with hindus and hinduism.
Sikhism and hinduism are very different, but the difference is just like that of a lotus and a lily, different on surface but fundamentals are same. Our fundamentals are same and they are Dharma ie righteousness, satya ie truth, ahimsa ie universal love and sewa ie service.

Anand Pandey Thank you and you are true bro. I enjoy listening to Sadhguru. I enjoy reading Swami Vivekananda and Ramakrishna Paramhansa, they always cleared a lot of spiritual concepts of mine related to Gurbani. Despite this I never get a feeling that I should convert to Hinduism or join Ramakrishna Society. It’s just that my knowledge of Dharam gets more deep from inside. So it’s useless to quarrel over silly things when it comes to Religion.. Every being should have a Ramakrishna approach who converted to Islam, Christianity to taste God from different places and in different guises, Yet I won’t suggest anyone to convert and I am sure neither would Ramakrishna would want it only thing that matter is to love God (Brahman, Akaal, Waheguru, Mahakaal whatever name it is addressed) we must love his creation and in his creation all Temples, Cultures, Languages are included. That’s my understanding bro.

Answer is given by krishna , soul is immortal and it keeps changing body .
Secondaly avatar means manifestation of unmanifested god . God is state and avatar is its statement . Ram avatar of vishnu . Vishnu is supreme who keeps comming as avatar , once target is completed he again calls back avatar to vaikuntha .
Limited study of hinduism makes hindu god limited .
Moreover this sikh guru has given the new dimension to ramayana i beacame fan of him . Great vision taking out communities from political level to philosophical level . I understand guru granth sahib is essence of yogic philosophy and if you want understand why guru granth sahib says this ,its explanation is in hinduism.

All these religions were originated on land of 'BHARAT', our mother land is bharat, and our ancestors fought for this land to secure our culture from invaders.

But we have Satpal, who is as great a gift and who can show how amazing Sikhi is, and what was Guru Nanak's core message. I encourage anyone new to Sikhi to take the Nanak Naam free courses.

Upanishads (vedic texts) are very much spiritual in nature, gave rise to alot of the philosophy of Buddhism and Sikhism.
Mool mantra in Sikhism is identical to a shloka in upanishad.
Sarbat da pala is literally another thing thats derived from a vedic shloka.
Dont let politics divide you. Just like you are distinct from your parents, but you are still from your parents. Majority of religious people havent read their own scriptures. The act of lighting represents the pursuit of knowledge, inner wisdom, and the transformation of one's inner being from ignorance to enlightenment.
