shabani was not letting that go, he gave kiyo a long and hard lesson today! i am pleasantly surprised that ai and nene were nowhere to be found to defend kiyo. shabani was allowed to act as a proper father and silverback for once. maybe the girls are finally starting to respect his authority. and sweet annie was just there to watch out of concern.
Nene is the ring leader of that rescue crew, that’s not needed. Kiyo has to be taught every once in a while Who’s in charge and it’s not Mom. He’s a good Dad and not hurting him.
Japan needs a large bachelor enclosure for Kiyo and Gentaro now and in the future gorilla boys Riki and Kintaro. Also plans for Komomo, Momoka and Annie.Japanese zoos have had many years to prepare for the future habitats of these gorillas.

They all do this and they put the females on birth control to keep them from breeding with a father, or a parent/sibling from having mixed dna. Japan has a breeding program, but it has not been announced which gorillas will be paired in the future. I also believe that Japan needs a facility for bachelor groups, but there is no such facility in Japan.

What did you mean by saying that Gentaro is more genetically important? Is it because he has less blood line ties to other gorillas in Japan? I can’t figure out why else he would be more important. There is nothing I would want more than to have Gentaro and Kiyomasa moved to a bachelor group that would hopefully be followed by one of these amazing gorilla RUclipsrs. That would be fun to watch. It always amazes me how the males get along without females around.

It was comical and cute watching Chobani hold on to that sackcloth for dear life and keep it from his son, even going so far as to put it outside where he knew it was raining! They still belong in the jungle where they're free! Now that there are smartphones, we don't even need zoos to see all kinds of wild animals! I'd rather see them in the wild where they're happy n not in some concrete enclosure like a prison!😪😞

Yes ,that makes sense I guess,he was such a fantastic dad with both boys when they were young ,I think that Gentaro is really upset with his dad ,He stayed outside in the rain all morning because I think he read MoMo and did not want to fight anymore with his dad ,He will have his lady soon enough,I hope Kintaro doesn’t take it hard when he leaves ,Remember when MoMo as really sick with his chin, his family was so worried about him ,these gorillas and Shabani’s are amazing ❤️
