Anthony Joshua has achieved an incredible amount. The fact that he started boxing at 18 makes it all the more startling. Imagine someone had said when he walked into his boxing gym at 18 that he would be fighting for the title of Unified Heavyweight Champion at the National stadium in 9 years time after having won Olympic Gold. You can, or you can also say that you fell down and came back up several times to the summit. Cause that’s life isn’t. We fall down and get back up! That achievement takes mental, emotional, physical resilience to come back from 🤔
@@nelsoninthenorth6499 Of course im not knocking it, just sometimes the way its worded as though its some kind of greater achievement when in reality its obviously not as good as not losing. For the general public it can be misleading and thought of as some greater achievement when in reality its not!
@@user-xu4cz3xz1u Shows you've faced competition comparable to yourself. Ali lost the title 3 times, twice by losing. Ali admittedly also avenged all his career losses aside from Berbick and Holmes who he was ill against.
Joshua obviously wouldn't be close to that level, but out of the modern heavyweights I'd argue he's got the best resume and second to only Parker he's faced the most dangerous competition in this era. In the ideal world Joshua can get wins over Fury, Usyk and Wilder to solidify his legacy and retire near if not at that ATG level.
@@user-xu4cz3xz1u I think this mentality/boxing ideology of losing your 0 makes you lesser fighter than people thought you’d be is often derived from Mayweather hyping it up that he has never lost. And that’s an amazing achievement because so few great fighters get to retire without never tasting defeat. Like Mayweather, Ward, Calzaghe, Marciano…but throughout boxing history many of the great names have been defined by their stories of redemption from facing defeat. Ali, Foreman, Lewis, Tyson, Holyfield and many more….those names and stories are what made boxing what we enjoy watching
Not unless your new to boxing . Lol
Yes is the answer his resume speaks for it self, he's fought and beat nearly everyone in the division, he's only lost 3 times in his career twice to one of them. @@Lockyoriginal1 who's still fighting from 30yrs ago you plum I'm not talking a hundred years I mean every heavyweight on the planet right now, Parker, fury, wilder, whyte, usyk etc. When this era ends and everyone I've just mentioned retires that is the end of an era in boxing as it has a very short life span. You can play football for 25-30yrs but boxing at the highest level you get 10yrs max. I'm not talking in human years I'm talking in sport years and aj, fury, usyk and Parker have only a few fights left in them and then a new era in boxing will start. There's documented proof that fury was telling wilder not to fight aj so two of the so called best deliberately dodged him look it up wilders team released the texts about 2yrs ago so that's 2 he never fought but he destroyed everyone else and then lost to ruiz came back and beat him then he never really came back to fight usyk which he's been garenteed the winner by turki so let's see how the 3rd fight goes now aj is getting his confidence back when usyk beats fury plus fury has to turn up remember so pretty obvious who his replacement is

AJ 28 fights - 3 losses - who are you comparing him too !!! 😂😂😂😂
Mike Tyson didn't fight for a world title until his 26th fight. Mike Tyson started at 13 boxing, Joshua at 18 . Comparing Marciano who was 14 stone , floyd Patterson would be a light heavyweight now . George foreman after his first loss fell apart mentally . His words. Evander holyfield lost to James toney a middleweight lol. All you can be is the best of his era . Just like Tyson, Lewis, holyfield, you have uysk, fury, Joshua. For me wilder hasn't beaten any top heavyweight from this era . Anyway his career hasn't finished, if Joshua ends up 3x heavyweight champion then he will go down as a great.
Lennox Lewis is a 3 time heavyweight champion not a 2 time. Casuals
Y'all got some serious credibility issues here, acting like Triple Knee could beat either Hrgovic or AJ. Triple Knee is heavy-handed, but he's a habitual quitter with limited boxing skills.

All time greats do not get stopped by Andy Ruiz whilst in your prime, quite simple. A good heavyweight in a poor era. In most era's he would get no further than a top 10 contender.
He would have to beat Fury and Usyk to be considered an all-time great, and even then, it would be debatable.
No he wouldn’t. He’s already one of the 20 greatest heavyweights of all time to this point based on his resume.
Usyk already defeated Anthony Joshua twice. Joshua ducked Undisputed with Wilder 3 times in 2018 and ducked Fury twice last year to fight Franklin and Helenius for no belt and less money

Floyd mayweather and Canelo have fought a million world title holders but lets face it in every division there are 4 bloody champions4 number 2s etc if you move through 2 or 3 weight classes you could win 12 world titles. Resume is much more important than titles. DDD will of had 2 title shots Dillian whyte had to wait 3 years at the top until he was way off prime. Boxing is dumb.
