- The Hydrolift Professional Series offers a range of high-speed vessels. We helped them design and engineer this range.
The Hydrolift P-42 SAR was developed together with the Norwegian Sea Rescue Society (www.rs.no) as a SAR boat for harsh environment operation in Norwegian littoral waters from south to north. Its structural strength of 6,5 G, the V-shaped hull, low center of gravity, and the Hydrolift signature bow design make it "best in class" for seakeeping performance vessels of this size.
P-42 is based on a modularised construction method. There are several versions of the boat, like Explorer and Fire. The boat can be built with an enclosed wheelhouse as well as several other options.

Thats one of the most bad ass looking boats I've ever seen. Not sure I'd want one over a rib boat for the real shit though, but nice rig here.
That is amazing. Cool design. Handling? Wooooooo
This boat was developed in cooperation with The Norwegian SAR organization. The majority of their staff are volunteers, and that was taken into consideration when we developed the vessel. It requires training and several drivers are very experienced, but the user interface and handling for non-specialists have been a priority in the process.
Ya, they almost lost it. And, they kept it in the video. Smh
For harsh environment operation, yet this video shows "sea trials" on flat water. I'm confused.
How much for this model as seen?
How much does it cost?
🛥️✨🙋
Too slow and too unstable, you almost lost it on a basic turn. Back to the drawing board, either make it wider or deeper or both and for Gods sake mpre power!! Should be hitting 60knots minimum or youre just like all the rest. . . .ba ba ba booooorring.
