Here in California, we have a distillery called Corbin Cash that is another grain to glass operation. Their single barrel ryes are phenomenal if you can get them. I have a Frey Ranch store pick that is also fantastic.
Thank you for this. I've had a Batch 002 Frey Ranch 90proof. I liked it just enough to want to return to them ...eventually. But it looks like I'll have to make a point of buying Frey Ranch single barrels next year.
I have the FR small batch uncut and it's great. I have to get a single barrel now for $100 before they disappear. I can't believe how different each bottle is that you tried.
Fun video. Love Frey Ranch SiBs! 💯 grain to glass on multi-generation farm and they even malt everything on site. Colby & Ashley are killing it, plus the bottles are beautiful...and deadly, lol.
Normally I do type it on the screen. Since they were all Frey Ranch picks I wanted to keep some sort of surprise reveal. It seemed at the time repetitive but now I know it was confusing. Appreciate you taking the time to comment good to know.
@@jonathanwilliams1974 Just spent a week in KY and did a Peerless tasting. Crazy variety in their profiles. The big favorite was their double oaked rye.
@@twentyfiveyears5010 I was there in Feb. I could only fly home 5 bottles and 2 were Peerless. The Double Oak Bourbon and the single barrel rye. They were all exceptional though.
Interesting that every batch is absolutely different. Same as Joseph Magnus cigars blend. I guess the cannot repeat previous batches. This why they call them differently.

I have batch 35 and have the same experience. Very medicinal taste. 😂
Awesome video. Had my first FreyRanch in Vegas a couple months ago. Golden Entertainment 124.46proof. Very good pour.

OK now you got me… I’m gonna run out and buy some frey ranch anywhere I can find it
That’s was quite entertaining 😂

It's a little confusing when you speak the name of the blind whiskey edited into the video. I'd highly recommend typing the name on the screen.

Thanks for the video! Huge Frey Ranch fan. Cheers guys .
These were some great pours! Makes me want to do a FR barrel pick for the channel. Would be awesome!
So cool to see such different profiles from one distillery. Reminds me of Peerless single barrels.
Peerless SBs are amazing. I always have a rye and a bourbon on hand. They're my favorite rye (non-finished) and its not all that close.
