Special thanks to Mathieu for being cool with me reusing a lot of this footage to create a video for you guys here on my channel. Make sure to head over to his channel and show him some love! - tinyurl.com/yygtuhhn
Hey, awesome vid and setting. Keep up the good work! Quick question, what adapter did you use for your Konica lens? If you can send the link, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
I love your photos. You and Oskar are very handsome and lend more beauty to a country that is already wonderful. You are the best of Iceland.Congratulations!
I love this vlog style! Idea for maybe one of the upcoming videos: Camera settings? (Picuture profil, Zebra etc.) Have the same setup, and very interested in your setting for the 6300 🙏
Drone shots and landscape is amazing. Iceland just popped up in my trip ToDo list. Few last years winters in Latvia are just horrible. -20..30 last time was about 5 years ago :(
This is amazing work guys! I really loved it. I was thinking about buying Konica 40mm f/1.8 for my Sony A6400. But I dont have any knowledge about ADAPTER. What should I buy as an adapter for this lens?
Hey, great stuff as usual! Do you think you could maybe start a series reviewing vintage/cheap lenses for these Sony cameras? I love my A6400 but OMG the lenses are so damn expensive! Anyway, take care, you are definitely an inspiration!
Love these pictures. Really inspiring to know I can take stuff like this especially because I have the same camera body as you. Most good photographers have super expensive gear it’s hard for me to get my hands on. Do you mind sharing your camera settings? Do you shoot on slog or cine4? I’m very curious!
Thank you! Yea no need to have expensive gear. I even use the a6300 for when I do client work. Yes i will share, I'm going to make a video very soon but it's cine4 (:
And the Oscar goes to ... Oskar. I don't know how he can stand on freezing cold weather wearing a sweater. Another Oscar for you directing skills just because you got the goal of making Oskar smile in January. hahahahaha And I promise I won't talk about your drones images anymore. My opinion remains the same. xD IT'S FREAKING COOL! Now I have a question. Is the camera that you take those shots the same you make your videos? I was considering to purchase it but I'm not sure I'll know how to use it. : / I don't know what consider to purchase mine.
Thank you so much! Hahaha yes, managed to get him to smile!! I think it's so funny, because IRL he smiles and laughs a lot - but on picture he's cool and angry lol. I only have 1 camera (exept the drone and gopro) and it's the Sony a6300. I use it for both videos and photos. Evrery video on this channel is made with it. It's a fantastic beginners camera. You can get it pretty cheap 2nd hand, and it's still up to date to day! :) Thank you for all the comments you give me, love reading them!
@@thaticelandicguy And I love watching your videos! Your video of firework in Reykjavik was the first video that I watched in 2020. To me, that was a sign to work on one of my 2020 resolutions. Soon I'll create my channel and that resolution will be materialized. I've been playing with Filmora e then the next step is my camera. Keep shining! Keep rocking! Because your videos are pushing to the next level.
Wow this looks soooo good! I’m heading back to Iceland in March and I bring all the filmmaking gear I have - it’s gonna be epic! I see how you employed one of your youtube tips here: vlog with a searchable title (lens name), nice! I also just uploaded a video combining winter photography tips and a vlog to catch a stunning sunrise in the mountains in Slovakia. People sure love beautiful scenery 🏔💚
I work for an Icelandic software company. Usually remotely but we do yearly reunions in Akureyri for skiing and stuff. So not my first time but first time with my Mavic 2 Pro - I can’t wait!!
9:04 Not sure where on the plant earth this happens but I can guarantee this would never happen in my neck of the woods with sun being just set and moon just above the horizon (Easter)when it shows a first quarter cycle to a waning gibbus like appearance (About moon cycle day 7 or 8ish)... Nonetheless more to the mystery.
Frábærar myndir, Ég var á leiðini að selja konica mindavélina mína sem að ég fékk gevins með þrjár linsur og það á meðal þessi 4mm linsa þegar að ég uppgötaði RUclips síðuna þína og núna er ég allveg hættur við selja þessa fræru linsu og er búin að kaupa Adapter fyrir sony A7R vélina mína ;)
