    I hope the snow stays so the kids can play in it. Nova Scotia doesn't usually get lasting snow. It usually rains away. I grew up there. But live on Ontario now.

    The snow is very heavy down there. Compared to out west. You can use an leaf blower to clear snow out west.

      @@Ont785 lol for sure! In that case I was more worried about having to leave due to roof collapse than anything else though, but amazingly enough, it was the only week my boss wasn't expecting anyone to show up for work regardless of the weather

    In New Waterford we have 3 plows and 2 are broken. God knows when the roads will be cleared.

    Northern California saw much more snow last winter, in a couple of months when it's 100 degrees you'll wish for the snow to come back, here in the New York metropolitan area we had a piddly 2 inches maybe all wont3r, new England got significantly more.

      Halifax is just a Centre for bureaucracy.
      If you work in government, or one of the public service unions, you’re enjoying the snow in your house or maybe the cottage. If you’re outside of that, you are in a tent on the parade square.

      @@Mythos131 the steel plant was funded by the liberal government at the time to USA investors like wolven, every bit of resources were stolen and used to build Halifax. The miners lived in company owned houses, shopped at company owned shops and if didn’t meet daily quotas no pay for the day. It was modern slavery and the Nova Scotia government let it happen.
