It's 2 different masks!
There is no handprints on Cassie's mask but there is on Vannys mask
I think this theory is great(!) but, it feels like it is missing stuff, like how did vanny survive if she was supposedly left in the fire? Why would vanny set up a mask for someone if the place was empty and destroyed? Why would she use the mask for children if she was trying to free/ help burntrap by giving enough remnant to live by killing the childre, not using them? Personally, yes, I think vanny is or was around after the pizza plex closed down but I think Im gonna need a part 2 because I think we need more answers, or the closest you could get to an answer in this franchise lol. Keep up the good work!

Based on the final Tales book’s title story, I think it’s possible for both Vanessa to be freed AND Vanny to remain. What we see in the Brazil ending are the GGY and Vanny personas in a virtual world. Kicked out of their human hosts, but still able to communicate and perhaps even act through animatronics.
Someone or something has to set up the breadcrumbs for Cassie. Placing the walkie talkie, the fazwrench and the mask bot. There are also hints to someone or something blocking off other paths. If Vanny (and GGY) are in the network, they may be able to make use of the staff bots for short periods, as long as they disengage before MXES gets them. The graffiti could be similar, as there is also paint that gives directions for Cassie to get back on track.
I’m glad somebody points this out considering vanny not Heather masters as Vanessa is credited in help wanted 2. So it’s not Vanessa putting on the mask to destroy glitch trap it’s Vanny herself.
Along with the fact that she was most likely being credited for the voice lines in the code l guiding us to princess quest four .
What I think is that she was trying to stop Cassie’s dad from becoming a servant of Afton by taking away the glitch bunny in his head (since there could be multiple service that means that there are multiple glitch plushy‘s inside of them not just one singular glitch trap)
Considering she’s not a good guy since she doesn’t free us she leaves us trapped in there .
So she does this either out of jealousy Wanting to be the only killer (glitch trap showed favoritism to ggy) or trying to prevent another Gregory situation in general
Gregory is ggy and doesnt even realize hes under glitchtraps control, in the end freddys head is still talking without his body, it makes no sense and never has... if princess quest is the real ending gregory is ggy. It also would explain the 2nd candy cadet story in help wanted 2

Really great video and theory. The editing was so good in this one as well! Must mention it! Also you definitely have convinced me. I mean no one else will graffiti her name and image around the place, but her. The animatroincs can't even see her as Vanny and no kids (that break in and vandalise, graffiti the place etc) would know of her either.
Also it's obvious her mask is a cotton one that she wears, with crude stitching etc. But these masks do seem to imply they were for others. Maybe she made it expecting someone to come along and pick it up. Or she made her crudely made fursuit version inspired by it, a generic thing all staff saw. But it seems more likely to me that she intended for someone else to receive it. I wonder why?

My Theory: Vanessa Got Controlled By Glitchtrap After Fnaf VR. She Used Mimic To Bring Glitchtrap Into A Physical Form, Therefore Creating Burntrap. After Burntrap Was Defeated, Vanessa Was Free From Glitchtrap. Then She Programmed MXES To Keep The Mimic Contained. Then She Left The Pizzaplex With Gregory. After That, The Events Of Ruin Happened.

"Burn it all down" ending can't be canon since the Burntrap room is fully intact in Ruin. As for the PQ ending i can't really agree. It's true that the destroyed lamp represents princess losing the problem here is that the lamp is clearly intact and lit, if anything it means that she is still alive/won, same could be said for the sword in the AR which is most commonly used as a symbol of quest being completed/victory (a bit of a side note but the purple energy isn't coming out/escpaing the machine but instead going inside it which prob means nothing and its just a cool visual). As for the mask i agree it's clearly not the same fabric mask she wears in the base game, however i don't think other technicians wore this mask as it doesnt really make all that sense, it's prob just another mask Vanny made before the one we see in SB.

Edit: Given the child nodes are a thing, and we hardly see Vanny, who’s to say she was setting up the nodes? I also imagine Vanny will still be a threat, because given she wasn’t in security breach a whole lot, probably because there was already too much in the game, so steel wool could be setting her up for the next installment, or in the future?
