Actually the final boss is STILL Black Viper expect she mutates into a creature that resembles Jagger Froid but more aggressive.
@@jahmirwhite7807 She is the sister of Gyaba after all, the latter who is known as the Red Falcon itself. I like the naming convention for these alien leaders (color + animal).

The spritework in this game is amazing- which shouldn't come as a surprise, since it was made by Wayforward, the same people who make the Shantae games.
Wayforward needs way more love.
If I were rich I would pay konami for the franchise rights and pay wayforward to make contra 5 with this same graphic style

It's too disgusting to think you're busting your way into the alien abdomen to shoot the alien brain....
But it's too scary to see Black Viper turning to a giant after you beat her! O.O
The final levels of the Contra games are all nightmare fuel. Even the first one had your eyes raised considering all the previous levels were normal Earth ones, and the last one took you into a grotesque cavern that looks like the innards of an alien.

Red Falcon is the giant "demon heart". Jagger Froid (final boss in Super Contra/Super C) is his second in command. Black Viper (seen in this video) is Red Falcon's sister.
They all work in tandem with each other, as they all share the same alien cells.

In the original Japanese games up thru 2001, there was no one alien named Red Falcon; that was the name of the entire alien army.
What we thought in the US to be incarnations of Red Falcon were actually distinct & separate aliens with very, very Japanese names.

- The mutated spider-face monster: Kimkoh
- The heart: Emperor Demon Evil Heart Gamera Mosking
- The creepy face with worm arms: Emperor Demon Gyaba
Starting in 2002 with Contra: Shattered Soldier, the developers have attempted to combine the dissonant Japanese and American interpretations together into a single canon. Your mileage may vary.
I thought that "Kimkoh" was the name of that weird alien turtle thing fought at the beginning of Contra 3.

Second boss reminds me final boss from Metal Slug 6. The same situation when he moves his head and then you falling down. Check it.

The skeleton/terminator boss spitting fire has the best boss theme ever
It had even meaner attacks in the previous game.... The fire sweep the room like the hand of a clock, speed of the sweep depended on difficulty. It would fire homing energy beams from its eyes before the fire attack, and after the fire, would put massive balls on a four-second fuse that burnt all but one corner of the room. You had to fight two smaller (but still big) versions just to get the big one to come out and play.

Yo tenía como 5 años cuando jugué contra 4 todos los boss me gustaba la verdad, solo que no descubri el BOSS corazón y el final por qué siempre jugaba en fácil

Eishern yes, it's the most likely scenario, given the difficulty/annoyance of getting a DS set up for screen capture.

5:26 I remember being very disapointed with this boss, it was my favourite ever since seeing it on an SNES commercial for Contra 3. even the Game Boy version looks better, Robo Corpse/Big Fuzz just doesn't work with PS1 level 3D (then again nothing really does.)

For capturing directly from the DS itself, yeah, but that's where emulation comes in.

Oh my god fuck the boss at 5:27. The bit with the doors always got me because I my normal weapon always was too slow. I figured you needed the upgraded machine gun in order to beat that god damn thing when I first played the game. Needless to say what you did to him was eye opening to me lol.
