one of the best games on DS and absolutely RAMMED with content, you have a meaty main campaign, but not only that, art books, comics, interviews, Bonus Challenge mode, AND ORIGINAL NES/GB GAMES stacked on top ??? Absolute beast of a release. Really needs a Switch version.
Thanks for recording and posting these. There are so many games I'll never really go back to pay and this is the next best way to enjoy. Just got finished with your boss video from 2016 and saw you had this one up. 25:00 cool callback to how that boss presented itself in Contra 3. Interestingly, in your other video, I got confused because there were no doors.
Some would argue Hard Corps: Uprising was the last great Contra game. A shame Konami failed to include both Contra 4 and Uprising into the Anniversary collection. Heck, it didn't even include Shattered Soldier or Neo.
oh shadowserg uploaded another no hit for all the bosses in co- >full playthrough this isn’t the first time you’ve done this thing but i still lose my shit every time
@@pablosalgado293 Operation Galuga, which is also made by WayForward. If I had a nickel for every Contra games made by WayForward, I'd have two nickels, which isn't much, but it's weird that it happened twice.
This game still looks way better than the new game, despite it being nothing more than a rehash of the older games itself and re-using the same environments.
Very nice spritework and animations, though the buffer blue and black regular soldiers reminds me strongly of Bubblegum Crisis' Super Boomers. I guess Contra is like Castlevania in that although it's roughly the same game over and over, you do get new content or those little adjustments that each version is still a new game.
I mean, why did they have to reboot this franchise? I'd rather prefer them to move the storyline forward instead of going backwards, as shown by the more recent installments. They've been trying to do that since Returns. Besides, didn’t we already have a remake of the first game? I believe it's called Contra Evolution. I just want them to move on and give this series a break. Maybe someday they can do a sequel to Neo Contra (it doesn't have to be gameplay wise, only story wise) or a game that takes place between SS and Neo? I don't know either way.

Sheena is in this one? always happy to see some Hard Corps rep....
Glad I'm not the only one who recognized homegirl! 😁

Contra 4 more like CONTRAGYAT DAMN 10:03
Este juego parece una mezcla entre los primeros contra y hard corps, en estética y música recuerda a contra 3
Man, I love Contra.
Just now playin that on my DSI and i love it as a die-hard contra fan its awesome i can play this title and what? 3-5 years?
The last great Contra game

Well, there may be hope for Operation Galuga, as it's made by WayForward like this game.
Rebirth was good

Always wanted to see a walktrough only with the basic pistol lol, ur awesome
This is different but in a good way, nicely done getting through a contra game of all games like this!
Just in time for the new Contra game, huh?
Also made by WayForward, fittingly enough.
the WHAT??

@@pablosalgado293 There’s a new Contra game coming out early next year. And it looks like a complete reboot of the franchise.
Did anyone look at Player character that Sheena chest is bouncing while she is running? 😂
Never got a chance to play this game!
Damn I remember playing this on my phone with an emulator years ago.
Jesus I'm old lol 😂. I remember this when it came out on the NDS. Also played Probotector as a kid in the 90s.
Nice run, but only using basic shot is extremely boring lol

cool, just as a new contra was announced
9:27 Reference to the final boss scene from Metal Slug 6.
?????
Back when Konami didn't suck
Wayforward made this game, not Konami.
Go on son!
🌈Momistar
warm up for operation galuga?
Congrats on a no-miss run, though only using the basic gun the entire time makes for a rather dull watch.
BIG GOOBERFISH, HUGE-O-TEETH!
There's always a bigger fish 🐟🐠
Amazing gameplay bro 😏👉👉
Shame. The big missle was a dud. 😏
They abandoned this amazing sprite work for shitty 3D that looks like free to play mobile game, I have 0 hope in Operation Galuga

What NDS emulator is better? MelonDS? Or DeSmuME?
MelonDS if your pc specs are medium low
❤❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊👍🦖😊

Sheena Etranzi is f*ck*n hot , but why only with default weapon ?
