I can't support Aria. I don't want to see non-Korean people in Kpop. A Kpop idol is an ethnically, racially Korean artist and performer who breaks into the music scene. Non-Korean people can't be Kpop idols. They are Pop singers who call themselves "Kpop idols" to profit from the Hallyu wave Someone like Rose, Wendy, Yongbok (Felix), Chan, Bae Jun Yung (Jacob), Moon Hyung Seo (Kevin), Son Young Jae (Eric), etc with a Korean ancestry who acquired non-Korean citizenship or nationality would still be ethnically, racially Korean and qualified for the Kpop idol position. Half Korean people like Huening Kai and Ju Hak Nyeon would be as qualified. According to my definition of Kpop, Black Pink, Black Swan, Exo, Enhypen, X:IN, GOT7, SEVENTEEN, NCT, TWICE, CLC, etc are Pop falsely labelled as Kpop to flow more swiftly across national boundaries, increase global competition and make more money in non-Korean countries People ask, "are you Korean?" If I said that I'm an Asian person of Korean ancestry, you would agree with me? They say, "non-black people can rap, non-Korean people can be Kpop idols" Non-black people appreciating rap, R&B, hip hop, jazz, etc, is different from non-Korean people breaking down Korea’s cultural traditions. The black people of today didn't "create" any music genres. Their ancestors did. They don't own their ancestors' "creations," and it's theft to pass them off as their own A moderate amount of music appreciation preserves the distinct cultures of the past. But the surge in the number of non-Korean people crossing into the Korean entertainment industry above traditional, moderate levels is transforming "Kpop" into something Korea won't quite recognize as its own. It's not a great thing My suggestion is to safeguard Korea's resources for ethnically Korean people. The present Korean entertainment industry should preserve for the talented people of Korean ancestry resources necessary for their growth Talented ethnically Korean people are finding it difficult to get a job and apply their skills to segments of their entertainment world. It's distressing to see non-Korean people stealing their jobs. Even more distressing is Korean agencies refusing to recruit, train, and retain available and willing talented ethnically Korean people. They have become blinded by money, favorably inclined toward gratuitous "globalization," and reliant on the less compliant, more high-maintenance non-Korean people I'm not saying that non-Korean people can't be "idols." Idols are celebrities. Anyone can be a celebrity anywhere. I'm saying that they can't be "Kpop" idols. They can't have the "K" in Kpop This is a massive deviation from the popular opinion, isn't it? I would welcome non-Korean people to the Korean entertainment industry within sustainable parameters. Homogeneity of the Korean ethnicity would be maintained for 99% of the groups. Most idols would be Korean, and few would be non-Korean. The non-Korean idols wouldn't call themselves "Kpop" idols. They would call themselves idols, celebrities, singers or performers. Then, Korean agencies would have incentives to work out alternative arrangements not so reliant upon non-Korean people They ask, "why should we international fans enjoy Kpop, even more importantly, pay for its performances?" Why not? Non-Korean people can support Kpop, and leave ethnically Korean people to sing and perform on stage. They can be involved partially, and not fully. Think of a fancy Asian restaurant that doesn't hire non-Asians. You would be welcome to visit and book a table. You wouldn't be welcome to get involved in the kitchen. You don't have to be a staff member (an idol) fully involved with food preparation (production and performance) to have a unique and enriching gastronomic experience (listen to Korean music)
I'd like to add that non-Korean people invading and dominating the Kpop industry raises concerns about authenticity and representation. It limits opportunities for Korean people to represent their culture and experiences on the global stage. The presence of non-Korean singers in Kpop dilutes the authenticity of the genre, making it less representative of the unique experiences and perspectives of Korean people. Pop music genres should remain true to their ethnic, cultural origins to maintain their authenticity It also raises the question of the role of the Kpop industry in promoting Korean culture and values. Invaded and dominated by non-Korean people, it's incapable of reflecting the unique cultural and artistic traditions of Korea. It's more focused on profit and commercial success than on promoting Korean cultural values. That's a problem Kpop is not just a musical genre, but a vibrant cultural phenomenon that transcends linguistic boundaries. A Kpop/Korean song can be primarily in another language (English, Japanese, etc) and still be a true embodiment of Kpop's spirit and essence, as long as it embraces Korean ethnicity/race

Sorry to be so harsh but it's almost impossible to debut in the big3+hybe. They go for visuals which Indians obviously don't fit. Even other famous agencies first consider your visuals. Only small agencies accept the "non-visuals". Look at Shriya and Aria, they both debuted from small agencies in a multinational group. I just want to say that unless you're totally confident in your visuals and talent only then go for auditions, cuz' later debuting and not earning enough money will make you regret all of your choices.
@@bonbonbonita ARIA is beautiful though. I've seen Indian civilians. You and I must be looking at two different people bc I see beauty. Of course, not anywhere will everyone have the kpop beauty. But there are certain individuals that will and ARIA is one of them in my opinion. HYBE just goes for a certain ethnicity which is usually their own. 😏
@@saiyongdawn7756 I am an Indian 💀 She's beautiful according to the Indians but to koreans, she's not since she doesn't fit the beauty standards. As for hybe, they accept foreigners who fit KBS. The Japanese members are a proof of this. No need to be sarcastic here since every entertainment industry goes for looks more than talent. It's not just hybe or k-pop industry. Aria is in the group for views. She isn't trained properly. A trainee debuts when they are capable of performing an idol's job perfectly. I've never seen any other idol saying that they aren't good enough and thus did not need too much responsibility. She was probably asked/forced to say this to stop the fans from spreading hate towards the line distribution. I think she would never have any lines if the agency wasn't thinking about the public's response to Aria having no lines and thus gave her a few words, which did not sound good enough. Her voice doesn't blend in nicely, it stands out like broken shard of glass.
So you guys can stop with the negative criticism. If you don't have anything positive to say then please refrain. At least say the things you would want others to say about you. 😏

@@goldyd144 sorry and thanku i didn't know 🙃🙃
@@goldyd144 wait where? I don't see it!? Can you give the link?
@@Pihu523 yeah I just saw em! Can't wait!
@@goldyd144sriya is north Indian and this girl is from South. South is rarely represented save for Aishwarya Rai, Deepika podukone and padma laxmi who are from south
Aria ia so amazing and talented!! She gives me hope to debut as a kpop idol as well! We love you Aria!
Удачи, солнышко❤
@@saiyongdawn7756 I am an Indian 💀
She's beautiful according to the Indians but to koreans, she's not since she doesn't fit the beauty standards.
We Sri Lankans always support you : Aria 🇱🇰❤✨ Keep Shining
She is from Kerala. My state.
Her look, her head movement, skin colour, pronunciation-everything indicates that she is Indian.
She iss Amazing❤... The way she talks and she replies with such innocence.
Your doing well aria keep shining like a star, we are going to support you and the other members❤
Her English is good and she will be spokesperson for her group x:in if they want to promote overseas for global market in the future .The Korea interviewer are sweet and polite too .👍👍
@@Luvhee127 we never actually see her speaks English so maybe she doesn't speak English

she speaks so elegantly and she looks so elegant too
0:28 People who doubt whether Aria is Indian or not are mainly foreigners who have limited understanding and stereotypical image of Indians which they got from Hollywood or from their own country media. They would be further surprised if they saw an Indian from Northern states.
That’s also a stereotype. She is from south of India. Both north and south indians are similar
@@NoRiceToEat she is from south India but she isn't a dravin blood she is an Aryan with her skin color u can tell
Everybody can tell she's indian too obvious.nobody doubt about it.
@@inyourdreams3816 It is basically the amount of melanin, UV exposure and genetics. Not uncommon to find dark skin tone in Northern parts of India too and lighter skin tone in Southern parts of India. Within an Indian community you will find range of skin tone variation.
