Enjoy your fun, energetic, CLEAR and comprehensive lessons! I've been using your tutorials for a few months and while struggling as a beginner at age 58, I'm slowly getting there and having a blast! Thank you!
I just started taking lessons and this is one of the riffs I was assigned. Despite that this is super simple, being able to hear it played correctly has been so helpful. Thank you.
Thank you for not going over our Heads- And Thank You for your Basic Attitude, (For not having a Big Head- like many other Guitar Player) Blessings to You.
I enjoy all kinds of music (mainly metal). I'm not a huge blues guy but still enjoying every now and then. But this blues lessons are awesome. Learning blues stuff from you is more enjoyable than learning metal stuff. Still a huge metalhead but I didn't knew that blues is extremly fun to play.
Hi Justin sir I am an absolute beginner and I am learning this series of yours to become a professional gutarist like you. I am right now learning chords and when should I learn music theory and scales.
I'll practice the two-string strum but I'm getting more open string than the alternating string. I tried it using my index & middle fingers in place of the plectrum to pick the two strings and it feels far more comfortable. However, it sounds bluesier using the plectrum.
Wow, love it!! This gives me something cool to practice....I don't know an actual song yet. I've been doing my chords practice like you advised, trying to get faster chord switches.....

Hey Justin I've just checked out your Spotify Blues list, it's cool! 🤙 Indeed one of the many great things of learning guitar is that it has opened up a world of new genres that I only knew by name until now...
nice lesson mr. Justin, love that shuffle: I suppose the E,A,D are related to the prospective chords and NOT the note on the string on the 5th, 4th or 3rd string?
You need to hold down shapes like 2-string power chord with 1st & 3rd fingers then extend 4th finger an additional two frets. Cheers 😊 | Richard_close2u | JustinGuitar Official Guide & Approved Teacher www.justinguitar.com
Is there a way to let my fingers grow - even at an age of 69 - in order to reach the second and third next frets 😉🤔🤔😉 ... I really struggle to stretch my fingers across the fretboard 😬😬. Btw ... your video lessons are just(in) great. You are a great teacher and musician.
Hi Alex, thanks for checking these lessons out. This is a Module 13 lesson. Have you worked through the first 12 modules? They include lessons encouraging you to develop stretch and one finger per fret placement. By this level you should be able to manage 1st finger at fret 2 and 3rd finger at fret 4 without too much stretch and pain. If not, I recommend revisiting some earlier lessons. Module 4 www.justinguitar.com/guitar-lessons/beginner-finger-stretches-b1-401 Another finger stretching exercise: www.justinguitar.com/guitar-lessons/finger-stretching-exercise-te-101 In the blues shuffle, your little finger needs to be kept in reserve to play a note one higher than your 3rd finger so learn this how Justin teaches for a better long term outcome. | close 2u | JustinGuitar Official Guide [ www.justinguitar.com/ ] & Moderator on JustinGuitar Forum [ justinguitarcommunity.com/index.php ]
@@justinguitar hey Justin. Thank you so much for replying to my comment. I've been working though your beginner course. Sadly not the newly revised version as I started before you released this. I will certainly work on my finger dexterity more. Do you have any tips for this? I've been doing the spider exercise but I'm struggling. I'd also like to thank you for the fantastic lessons. I never thought I'd be any good at guitar and then I found you. One other thing? How long should the beginner course take? I feel I'm making very slow progress. I've been learning around a year practicing when I can. Thank you Justin!
Actually, shuffle pattern is a 8th triplet; Hence, coming from the drumming world, where I was taught to count shuffles in a manner of 1-2-3 1-2-3, it seems logical for me to count it that way, with strumming on 1-3
I wouldn't completely skip it because you will learn to put some essential techniques into practice. Don't see it as a goal but as a means to reach other goals. Good advice here. Yes grasping the basic timing is the only way to progress. I think TIMING is most important in music, any kind of music & vocals!!!

Great lesson as usual bro!
Great lesson Justin. Are those power chords you are playing? For A chord are you playing A5 and A6? Thanks again!
So. I’m just trying to keep up, but are those power chords? A5 / D5 / E5? Another brilliant lesson
Thank you , Luv u 😊

Justin, any tips for if the bass note sounds too loud? I have trouble getting the melodic part to stand out
thank you ive always wanted to play this lol
Thanks for the spotify playlist buddy!
More blues!
nice lesson mr. Justin, love that shuffle: I suppose the E,A,D are related to the prospective chords and NOT the note on the string on the 5th, 4th or 3rd string?
It’s a 12 bar blues shuffle in the key of A. Yes, the A, D, and E represent the chords (the I, IV, V).
Nice❤️
That's good, thank you :-)
Justin you need to teach the embellishments also because that's what sounds really good......Sal : )

Hi Justin where can I get the backing tracks you keep mentioning
Justin, what will be included in grade 3?
This is the best blues shuffle style. How do you do this style in the key of f,g, or Bd
You need to hold down shapes like 2-string power chord with 1st & 3rd fingers then extend 4th finger an additional two frets.
