@@chairmanofthebored6860 They are actually reinventing recon smock (various options like KSK, and in the past Crossfire Australia) for maybe 3 times the price. The M65 had good pockets but they were never ever as roomy as British style smocks, and the hood was never big enough to be anything other than an afterthought. I think the Crye SMOC is definitely too expensive, but it has a lot of good ideas, many of which you can only get from products that were discontinued years ago.
I'd love for Crye to develop a Multicam colorway that bridges the gap between regular Multicam and Alpine, like a white/grey dominant base with intermittent splashes of brown and green. Think Finnish M05 Winter camo.
The SMOC is literally just a $737 version of any surplus British Army smock lol, fellers, buy an MTP Windproof Smock, preferably a MK2 one in as mint a condition you can find, it's like $60 and it'll do everything the CRYE Smoc does for over $600 less, and you'll get a decent Multicam variation with it, there's even versions in DDPM (basically just a desert tiger stripe) and DPM. I'm sure you could easily get the jacket modified to fit Airflex Kneepads too.
Aclima woolnet is best base layer that you can get for active stuff. It is relatively warm and doesn’t really get wet due to the net design. I often ski with just woolnet layer and snow overwhites at -15 celsius. Only negative is durability: for example hook velcro damages it quite easily.
I’m under this impression that CP is pas their golden era of R&D. There is absolutely not a single piece of garment that hasn’t been used tears back with it he r manufacturers.
I was hoping for an MSRP on these so I know if I can get away with selling only one kidney.
Some sweet stuff from Crye!! Im worried though that I wouldnt have enough pockets!!👍😀
My old field jacket and woolly pulley are still in use. This is an update for sure.
The green bag jacket looks like something you can get a Goodwill
Basically an old m65 field jacket. They're trying to reinvent the wheel for 4x the price

Poacher jacket is back, baby!
I've been waiting for that smock for years. -_-

That base layer looks like something from Zoolander LMAO

@@Apus__ you took this way too seriously. I feel like I would have seen the base layer at a rave in the late 90's
@@chairmanofthebored6860 No, I just wanted to share my experience with that product. And yes it looks lewd :D
Yeah, or maybe something from an east Berlin night club dungeon!
Please tell us more ABOOT the button you developed
Didn’t the US Army go with Sig for replacing the M4… I think he was supposed to say that the Marine Corp went with the HK416???

I Like this 😎👍
Is this where the Gucci units shop asking for a friend?
They have fishnets!
I used to own an aclimate woolnet shirt, god damn is it fragile. Not super comfortable either. I think you'd be better off wearing jersey mesh.
Are they going to release their Six12 anytime?
Lmao no never
Appears not to have a clue 😮
Will there be a G5 uniform?
That would be interesting to see, but the G3 style is still super dominant and G4 hasn't completely caught on yet.
Who we kidding gents, we can't afford this stuff. Back to the Mil-surp sites and sewing machines!
Yeah, for real. Probably would be better off just sewing ACU cargo pockets to an old BDU blouse.
They need to hurry up and release their new overwhites
You don't like the old lab Coat and thigh high stockings overwhite set they were selling?
