Watching this is emotional. Ten, Kun and WinWin have gone through a lot by being a part of the other sub-units and still not getting proper recognition I feel like for the first time all of them are finally feeling as they belong somewhere unlike just being in the shadows in the other units. They actually look happy and united. I hope they stay together for a long time :)

I LOVE THE DIRECTION THEY ARE TAKING WITH WAYV, the realness of it and the behind the scenes feeling almost like we are one of the members is not common, but very much appreciated.
Even before he debuted, Kun was such a caring brother towards Lucas and Jungwoo and even with the Dreamies, he was patient. Those are two characteristics needed to be a good leader so he's doing great. I've always admired Ten's passion in performing and to learn and master two of the most diffuclt languages in the world is no easy feat but he's done it and he's continuing to learn. He's very clear on what he wants and he deserved to be in a permanent group. A lot of fans have always felt sorry for Winwin for not getting lines or enough screen time in 127 but I never thought that once. When someone is doing their best, you say job well done, not poor you. And Winnie is doing his best. By living in a country where he has to adapt to the culture and be far from his family, for continously learning to improve his dance and vocal skills, he's gone so far. I've said it over and ovrr but perhaps this is what he needed, to be in a zone where he's more comfortable to express himself and he's doing just fine. Lucas started out being this goofy kid who admitted himself that he got into SM just by doing 3 poses LOL but he is proof that anyone can be anything. He definitely is more than just good looks, one of his good traits is his confidence because it pushed him to show those hidden talents. Xiaojun, I love how he says he'll never forget where he came from. He can always use that whenever he feels demotivated. Looking at his past videos, I can see how talented he is even coming from a similarly talented family. It is where he belongs and I'm waiting to see more of him Hendery is definitely good looking, everyone in NCT or WayV is. But he definitely didn't get to be picked by SM just because of those looks. If there's something I learned over the years, SM doesn't just depend on looks alone despite casting good looking people. SM saw something in him, sharpened those skills and debuted him. I hope that as he wished, fans can see who he is and what he has to show more than just his looks. Yangyang is such a cutie and softspoken when he speaks in English. But even though he's the youngest and looks like he bullies the hyungs a lot, (LOL) he already knows that he has to practice humility. Humility will take you to many places even when you have reached higher. That is unexpected of Yangyang and a very wonderful trait because too many people drown in greed trying to reach their dreams. And although I wish we could see more of themlike many other fans hope for, I am okay with SM slowing down and carefully getting through the rules because of political tensions between the two countries. There are many things fans complain about these days when it comes to WayV like Winwin being cut from 127's activities and NCT not mentioning any members of WayV. As a fan, I am doing my best to understand everything and be patient because I don't want this group to end up like SM's other Chinese units. Like Kun, I wish they'll shine all over the world and get the recognition they deserve. Good luck boys, you're all doing great and you will still go far.

Lucas is so mature now, and it hits me right in the feels. The way he speaks shows that he is a really intelligent and loving guy, not just the loud joker that some people only know him as. Of course, he still has his weird and funny quirks, but I'm just so proud and happy to see him grow so much. I LOVE YOU, LUCAS.
I think it has more to do with languange barrier than him growing. I believe he was always as complex and 'multidimensional' as he is here but never got the possibility to show it off when speaking korean. So instead i'm happy that in this unit he can finally exppress his thoughts fully and that we as fans can finally feel closer to him and realize how great he truly is.

This video is a great example of the kind of content I wanna see from the behind of whatever is going on with the boys. It touches all the right things. It's super emotional and personal. I just wanna hold each of them and tell them they've done very well and that they should keep doing what they're doing and eventually they will be the brightest of star and nobody will be able to look away. I pray they recieve a ton of energy from the Chinese fans and feel all the love the international fans are sending them.
Xioajun is such a deep person. His choice of words always got me. It makes me want to know him even more. Knowing that he is from a survival show and the feeling of beeing left out and now he finally debuted.
I'm on the verge of breaking down in tears. When winwin was talking about being an older brother it only reminded of him being a maknae in 127. He was babied a lot by the older members. Even by Mark and haechan. I hope he can take this role of being an older brother very comfortably. I hope each and every member feels very loved and happy.

At 23 youre alrd noted to be one of kpop best dancer, by only 2 months of debut you alrd proved it by competing with other best dancers known in kpop world that has been in the industry for years or even a decade, you can rap, your singing improves so much since your predebut era, you can draw, design, play music instruments, you speak 4 languages fluently (honestly speaking mandarin after only 7 months of learning is incredible, Ten. I can never dream of lol), you even speak your mind, and most important thing is, you're extremely kind and humble, you never forget who you are, Ten. I cant even imagine you getting better and better each day. I mean, how can you be better when youre already SO GOOD. I truly admire you, Ten. Everyone that Ten debuted with back in 2016 are now touring while Ten is just now having his proper debut as a member of a fixed unit and is basically a rookie even though he is in his 3rd year as an idol. I'm honestly just glad Ten has WayV now and that they all seem to get on very well.
when kun said that he had never seen ten and winwin be so nervous-- because they're the ones with the most stage experience-- you know how much this debut means to them. how xiaojun longed to be on the stage again, how everyone has worked on this for so long and it's finally here shame that after this stage, we haven't gotten to see them perform again, and it's been more than a month since they're debut.

@El3an I think they meant he had to go the extra mile just to make his dreams possible, like he only wanted to be a kpop idol and promote in korea and learned korean for it but after 2 years of being debuted he only has 2 songs in korean, The 7th sense which he only had like a few seconds of line in and Baby Dont Stop which was only promoted for a week, so now he has to learn a whole new language and adjust to a whole unfamiliar environment and basically promote as a rookie all over again
ten is so very humble. he has amazing records as nct member as a whole and undoubtedly one of the best but was given so little opportunities to prove himself on stage, yet seeing him being happy and content wherever he was put into, how he gets along so well with everyone despite not promoting together. How he never complains for not getting a fixed unit for almost 3 years and remains cheerful and positive and hardworking even when he had to debut with new members in a country he’s not familiar with considering how he’s still not fluent in mandarin but take that as a challenge anyway, really make me realise how beautiful his heart is.

And for the other boys for that matter too. Ten is finally getting his proper debut, and so is Lucas! And Kun because he never properly debuted either. There’s just something about WayV that I haven’t seen with them in the other groups. They all have great chemistry, and really love each other, and really care about WayV. For real though. It's honestly why I'm happy knowing he has a support system in place, what we can't do for him his members will. All we can do is praise their efforts and support them in the means each of us individually see as possible for us (ie. you don't need to climb mountains just for them. Just simply listening to their music is support enough. if you don't have the resources or the capacity to do more don't feel burdend either, there's others who do have said resources who can do so for you). 💚🌱

I only discovered this group just this 2021 and I must say they set a very high standard when it comes to boy bands. I was into BTS lately but when I came across WayV, I was like really shocked by their vocals, choreography, and music videos. They are now my favorite boy band and I think no other group can beat them in the top of my list for the next decade or so. I am just hoping that they can also cross the US and other big markets out there because they really deserved it. Really talented people. WayV is phenomenal. They are the best. Like the BEST best. BTS, like many other groups are overhyped, they make catchy songs with have good enough vocals for a trained group, while groups like WayV, whose talent is off the charts are not properly promoted because they’re Chinese, they are used to get money from China but they will never be allowed to surpass Koreans groups in popularity, it would make Chinese idols look better than Korean idols, a Korean company would never allow that, moreover, recent news showed WayV made SM a TON of money in the short time they were active, but it was underreported & stolen by Lee Soo Man, they made WayV believe they weren’t popular and didn’t have many fans internationally
They are in the toughest situation among all boy groups. Being a kpop group they're having trouble penetrating the Chinese market. Having no Korean blood and singing in Chinese, they are not easily accepted in Korea. Being the Chinese NCT line SM is in dilemma about promoting internationally cuz it's like promoting cpop and I'm not sure if the US government will be welcoming cuz the US doesn't exactly love China. All the political and cultural aspects of things have been a bane to their growth and I just hope somehow people will just see them as talented young men trying to make their dreams come true and stop getting in their way.
when kpoppers are attracted to someone, they try their best to convince everyone their bias group is the best in everything, I stan groups ONLY for talent, WayV & GOT7 are unbeatable in vocals, dance & stage presence
Just discovered this group bec. of SuperM.. everything that WayV members said is so true.. WayV is something else..they are indeed multi dimensional..multifaceted group..so in sync when dancing. i think back then, his inability to speak korean was limiting what he could say. you could tell he had a lot to express but he couldnt bc he didnt know how. it was probably really frustrating. im glad hes able to freely express himself in mandarin with the other chinese members~

I live with 4 Germans and I wouldn't say he has a strong accent. A strong accent is when you can't really distinguish if a person speaks German or English lol. His accent is very normal

Dear WayV, I know I am a late fan since I just became a fan last month but I want to say thank you to all of you because you guys inspired me a lot. He didn’t start with high C, his voice was able to reach much higher notes since debut, I’m pretty sure he was able to sing similarly within a year’s time, he improved for sure but he didn’t jump as much as you think He was just talking about his past when he was much younger reaching for the goal of singing high C
Yangyang sounds like he's gonna cry when he starts talking about his debut. It's really hard to be an idol but you have to be strong to reach your dreams and be successful! Yes I wish he was doing a solo album preferably something hip hop dance because he kills it every time he's dancing but he is such a team player and always seems to get along with everybody which is one of the best things I love about him. I honestly didn't expect myself to tear up. Being an idol is really not an easy task and there's just a lot of sacrifices that you have to do. I LOVE THE DIRECTION THEY ARE TAKING WITH WAYV, the realness of it and the behind the scenes feeling almost like we are one of the members is not common, but very much appreciated.
Even before he debuted, Kun was such a caring brother towards Lucas and Jungwoo and even with the Dreamies, he was patient. Those are two characteristics needed to be a good leader so he's doing great.
I've always admired Ten's passion in performing and to learn and master two of the most diffuclt languages in the world is no easy feat but he's done it and he's continuing to learn. He's very clear on what he wants and he deserved to be in a permanent group.
A lot of fans have always felt sorry for Winwin for not getting lines or enough screen time in 127 but I never thought that once. When someone is doing their best, you say job well done, not poor you. And Winnie is doing his best. By living in a country where he has to adapt to the culture and be far from his family, for continously learning to improve his dance and vocal skills, he's gone so far. I've said it over and ovrr but perhaps this is what he needed, to be in a zone where he's more comfortable to express himself and he's doing just fine.
Lucas started out being this goofy kid who admitted himself that he got into SM just by doing 3 poses LOL but he is proof that anyone can be anything. He definitely is more than just good looks, one of his good traits is his confidence because it pushed him to show those hidden talents.
Xiaojun, I love how he says he'll never forget where he came from. He can always use that whenever he feels demotivated. Looking at his past videos, I can see how talented he is even coming from a similarly talented family. It is where he belongs and I'm waiting to see more of him
Hendery is definitely good looking, everyone in NCT or WayV is. But he definitely didn't get to be picked by SM just because of those looks. If there's something I learned over the years, SM doesn't just depend on looks alone despite casting good looking people. SM saw something in him, sharpened those skills and debuted him. I hope that as he wished, fans can see who he is and what he has to show more than just his looks.
Yangyang is such a cutie and softspoken when he speaks in English. But even though he's the youngest and looks like he bullies the hyungs a lot, (LOL) he already knows that he has to practice humility. Humility will take you to many places even when you have reached higher. That is unexpected of Yangyang and a very wonderful trait because too many people drown in greed trying to reach their dreams.
And although I wish we could see more of themlike many other fans hope for, I am okay with SM slowing down and carefully getting through the rules because of political tensions between the two countries. There are many things fans complain about these days when it comes to WayV like Winwin being cut from 127's activities and NCT not mentioning any members of WayV. As a fan, I am doing my best to understand everything and be patient because I don't want this group to end up like SM's other Chinese units. Like Kun, I wish they'll shine all over the world and get the recognition they deserve.

Lucas is so mature now, and it hits me right in the feels. The way he speaks shows that he is a really intelligent and loving guy, not just the loud joker that some people only know him as. Of course, he still has his weird and funny quirks, but I'm just so proud and happy to see him grow so much. I LOVE YOU, LUCAS.
I think it has more to do with languange barrier than him growing. I believe he was always as complex and 'multidimensional' as he is here but never got the possibility to show it off when speaking korean. So instead i'm happy that in this unit he can finally exppress his thoughts fully and that we as fans can finally feel closer to him and realize how great he truly is.

This video is a great example of the kind of content I wanna see from the behind of whatever is going on with the boys. It touches all the right things. It's super emotional and personal. I just wanna hold each of them and tell them they've done very well and that they should keep doing what they're doing and eventually they will be the brightest of star and nobody will be able to look away. I pray they recieve a ton of energy from the Chinese fans and feel all the love the international fans are sending them.
Xioajun is such a deep person. His choice of words always got me. It makes me want to know him even more. Knowing that he is from a survival show and the feeling of beeing left out and now he finally debuted.

I even watched your predebut so i know that youre not the person who are gifted with much talent, all those talents you got is from your hard work and determination.
Imagine having a dream of being a performer, since youre a lil kid, that determination never fades away, imagine being that determined of reaching your dreams came true. Now everyone that has seen you believes that youre one of best dancers of kpop, its not a gift. Its your hardwork, and it was never easy from the start.

At 23 youre alrd noted to be one of kpop best dancer, by only 2 months of debut you alrd proved it by competing with other best dancers known in kpop world that has been in the industry for years or even a decade, you can rap, your singing improves so much since your predebut era, you can draw, design, play music instruments, you speak 4 languages fluently (honestly speaking mandarin after only 7 months of learning is incredible, Ten. I can never dream of lol), you even speak your mind, and most important thing is, you're extremely kind and humble, you never forget who you are, Ten. I cant even imagine you getting better and better each day. I mean, how can you be better when youre already SO GOOD.

Everyone that Ten debuted with back in 2016 are now touring while Ten is just now having his proper debut as a member of a fixed unit and is basically a rookie even though he is in his 3rd year as an idol. I'm honestly just glad Ten has WayV now and that they all seem to get on very well.
Winwin too. He should have been touring with the rest but he have to start all over again.

ten is so very humble. he has amazing records as nct member as a whole and undoubtedly one of the best but was given so little opportunities to prove himself on stage, yet seeing him being happy and content wherever he was put into, how he gets along so well with everyone despite not promoting together. How he never complains for not getting a fixed unit for almost 3 years and remains cheerful and positive and hardworking even when he had to debut with new members in a country he’s not familiar with considering how he’s still not fluent in mandarin but take that as a challenge anyway, really make me realise how beautiful his heart is.

For real though. It's honestly why I'm happy knowing he has a support system in place, what we can't do for him his members will. All we can do is praise their efforts and support them in the means each of us individually see as possible for us (ie. you don't need to climb mountains just for them. I only discovered this group just this 2021 and I must say they set a very high standard when it comes to boy bands. I was into BTS lately but when I came across WayV, I was like really shocked by their vocals, choreography, and music videos. They are now my favorite boy band and I think no other group can beat them in the top of my list for the next decade or so.
I am just hoping that they can also cross the US and other big markets out there because they really deserved it. Really talented people.

BTS, like many other groups are overhyped, they make catchy songs with have good enough vocals for a trained group, while groups like WayV, whose talent is off the charts are not properly promoted because they’re Chinese, they are used to get money from China but they will never be allowed to surpass Koreans groups in popularity, it would make Chinese idols look better than Korean idols, a Korean company would never allow that, moreover, recent news showed WayV made SM a TON of money in the short time they were active, but it was underreported & stolen by Lee Soo Man, they made WayV believe they weren’t popular and didn’t have many fans internationally
They are in the toughest situation among all boy groups. Being a kpop group they're having trouble penetrating the Chinese market. Having no Korean blood and singing in Chinese, they are not easily accepted in Korea. Being the Chinese NCT line SM is in dilemma about promoting internationally cuz it's like promoting cpop and I'm not sure if the US government will be welcoming cuz the US doesn't exactly love China.
All the political and cultural aspects of things have been a bane to their growth and I just hope somehow people will just see them as talented young men trying to make their dreams come true and stop getting in their way.

i think back then, his inability to speak korean was limiting what he could say. you could tell he had a lot to express but he couldnt bc he didnt know how. it was probably really frustrating. im glad hes able to freely express himself in mandarin with the other chinese members~

He didn’t start with high C, his voice was able to reach much higher notes since debut, I’m pretty sure he was able to sing similarly within a year’s time, he improved for sure but he didn’t jump as much as you think

WayV is a huge step because of the conflict between two countries that's why after years of rumors and waiting, they are finally here.
