Thank you Richard! I have Mercury in gate 4.3 on my personality side, and yes it's true, I love talking about and explaining concepts to people more than acting on them. I have a career in scientific communication because I discovered I love talking and sharing scientific knowledge more than the nitty-gritty work of actually working in science. I enjoy talking about the theories and the formulas without any application - it's so interesting that my body graph captured this!
I have a conscious 22.4 and an unconscious 38.5 Mercury. Oh dear, grace and aggression. I do have to work to stay in my Manifestor peace in my mind. I love when I am channeling grace through my higher mind. You have given much food for thought. Love it.🫠💖

Great video, Richard! Thanks ❤ my Mercury activations are in D 38.4 and P 51.1. So I am a fighter unconsciously and shocking as well. I will observe it more now. For sure, I never give up when seeing any obstacle, I always search for another way, and I manifest almost all what I wish for myself. 😅

This was a fun exercise! I have Mercury conjunct Pluto in my chart with both in the Gate 44 (Pluto- 44.2, Mercury- 44.3). So we have Management and Interference. I guess this explains why people give me the silent treatment when they're mad at me 🤔 haha

Excellent subject thank you Richard. I’ve often nodded when witnessing how my P Mercury 10.4 comes out, which is conjunct P Mars 10.4 and part of my channel of Awakening. ‘Authenticity’ is the name of the game! My D Mercury 18.1 is part of my channel of Judgement, and my splenic authority. I can detect an inauthentic action / person so easily. The learning for me, as a Projector, was / is to wait for the invitation to share what I see.

Yes the 18 will track the patterns and intuit what's not right, what's off etc. The 10.4 with the 20 in the full Channel of Awakening really wants to let your Inidivdual truth come out when the opportunity arises. It will take things very personally if your truth is not respected. Note that not everyone can 'get' such truth, no matter how sincerely and truthfully it arises from you. And there will be those that absolutely love it. :)
Thank you, Richard! 😊 On the Personality side, my Mercury is in the 15.3 in Detriment, the "I told you so" mentality. 😅 Sometimes, me communicating with other people is literally me telling them "I told you so", so it might sound rude to them, or might sound like I think I know more than them. I wonder if I could smooth a little bit my way of communicating sometimes. Then on the Design side I have the 63.6, Nostalgia. 😊
You're most welcome Alves. The 15 sets its rules in stone. In the trail and error process there is the potential to lay down memorable tracks whereby the rules can be held to but lightened in a diti or song. Better that than trying not to be extreme, which is part of your nature. :)

In sync with this message, as I've recently been pondering a creative expression in order to more clearly communicate the stirrings from the well within - Personality Mercury - 48.6 & Design Mercury - 16.4. I've always been intrigued by Gate 48; it's also activated in my P & D Neptune in lines 4 & 5. My communication seems to be fueled by the eagerness to explore and express the depths of Source Intelligence, and what it essentially means to simply exist in human form, and also how to maintain well-being on all levels. It was interesting to note the hexagram structure of these gates, especially Gate 16 - all yin, except for one yang line. Thank you so much, Richard, as you continue to serve us all with your brilliance! And any feedback from you is always welcome and appreciated! 💞

Thanks Richard, I am also gate 38 (38.3) in a defined root centre, and I definitely feel like the underlying communication I have with people is to find a life that's worth living, fight for what you desire. But I'm going to have a look at the way I communicate in business to see if I can bring this out a little more.

Oh... we share some energy here! I have my D Mercury in 28.5 and my P Mercury in 38.6. I notice in my Creative Human Design sessions that I often give a language to people who are struggling with particular issues. It's like I can hear what is underneath their images and words. Wonderful Charliza. Insight from Ra may help your confusion: "If you are in the mood and you do things when you are in the mood, if you fail that is not your fault. Do not blame yourself. You have not lost anything in that.” And: "Because of the wave of allegiance and rejection, that you are always going to have situations where given whoever has the perspective, that the bond being broken can seem like a failure. It may not seem like a failure to the breaker of the bond but it may seem like a failure to the one who has had the bond broken, or vice versa." Hope that helps. Thankyou Richard. I looked up my Mercury on HD chart. Black is 14.3 (with an Up arrow next to it?) and Red is 29.6. I have been told many times by Others that they often find my words calming, inspiring, profound or just what they need to hear in the moment. To me it feels guided by my Higher Self. So just being present in the moment, responding is where i find myself. Any insights from yourself would be appreciated. Trusting and following as i learn HD.
Wonderful Rosa. You can certainly be empowering to others. It is also a material Line so responding correctly can also lead you to wealth, providing you don't pour your energy and resources into those who will simply take advantage of your 14.3. Remember a Generator needs to be rewarded at some level for the energy they put out, so your RESPONSE is the key. Money comes as a by-product of service to the highest good in this characteristic. I hope this helps. :)

Design Mercury 38.5, conscious Mercury 27.2. Very interesting. I am a teacher and I am often “fighting” with students to help them see they are capable of the math we are learning. I have a big issue when people argue for their limitations; I feel myself push back and try to help them break through those beliefs of what they think they are capable of. Never thought about that as Mercury in the 38, but I am also the cross of penetration. This also reminded me of my 3 degree Taurus Mercury, the degree at which my secondary progressed Chiron is currently (the discovery degree of Chiron, actually), and it’s interesting Chiron was discovered in Gate 27. There’s a Chiron/North Node conjunction later today and it’s happening exactly on my natal Venus (an orb of just 1 minute of arc, Venus is the ruler of my Taurus Chiron) while transit Venus is at 3 Aquarius, square that Mercury/progressed Chiron point, so I’ve been contemplating all things Venus & Chiron for the past few days. This gives me another access point. Contemplating the gene keys 27 keynotes of the shadow of selfishness, the gift of altruism, and the sidhhi of selflessness. Those feel very “Chiron” to me, the path towards healing self so that you might help others heal based on your experience. Interesting that Chiron was discovered there. Thank you for sharing this today. I appreciate the synchronicity.

@@humandesigninfo Chiron discovered in Gate 27 Nourishing, line 2 self-sufficiency in Human Design. Very interesting that Pluto is in the gate 60, talking about limitations. Learning how to nourish without depleting self (with my Chiron & design SN in gate 3). As far as other systems, I cannot focus just on one; I go to whichever system I am drawn to in the moment. It feels like being multi-lingual to me. For me, it’s about flowing with the energy in the moment no matter what tool it is channeled through.
Hello @admidthesalt, what are the odds.....I have exactly the same gates as you: Personality Mercury in 30 and Design in 34. But the lines are different. I am curious: can you tell me in what way these energies are expressed in your communications? I can paint livid desires thru photographs and text. It's imaginary most of the time, but people get my story. I use a lot of metaphors to get an image/point across. I can speak with force/power when I am totally in to the topic....let me know

Hi Anca, Logic walks out of the door when the 25.6 shows itself. If correct, the uncontrived and spontaneous nature can be very healing... after the dust has settled. Use your past experience as a guide to the depth and breadth of how you can communicate going forward. The question is: 'How to does one express innocence in life?' How to BE in the existential experience without preconceptions. Often this is comes when alone, having withdrawn from the worldly motivations. :)

Would Chiron have eventually been included in Ra's system? Chiron would be at my Gate 41.1.

Right!?!? With my Open Head, and defined channel 11-56, I've been down so many rabbit holes I'm growing long pink ears and a fluffy tail! Also, I think I know why my preemie-adjusted unconscious chart may matter so much to my own personal analysis: I was my parent's seventh failed attempt for a son. While in utero I was loved, charished, well-nourished, and cared for. But when I was born, I was a huge disappointment and treated accordingly. (The son came 4 years later) Resulting BPD has led to a lifetime of studying astrology etc. to discover who I am. HD with the incorporation of my preemie-adjusted unconscious attributes rings true--at last. Now, I need to summarize myself on a cheat-sheet that I can post on the wall in front of me! My Mercury is 50.4 (corruption) and 4.3 ( looking for easy ways) 😂 Not too keen on those to be honest. I talk about science in an abstract way through my art, so 4.3 is there. Regarding 50.4....I have to think about it 😂
i can TOTALLY see how your mercury is igniting your '38,' even the correcting part--you do correct but this seems nearly always germane to the video you're doing/seems logical. clearly, you're fighting for a 'cause' thru HD!! that's a clear 38. you are able to use the power of speech & communication to push a point, so what do u do?? u speak to us thru a video. i love mercury! one of my favourite planets, i will even say gods. i have mercury in virgo so i get an accentuation--as a kid i remember being really taken w/the olde testament story of the snakes on a rod & i knew instictively that this was 'healing' magic. i come from a long line of doctors--i feel very affiliated to 'mercury.' my mercury is in a subconscious 23!! and what do they call me @ work?? "the wordsmith!" to be quite frank they're annoyed by it, & i'm often asked to cease or desist . . .

Mercury has a strong relationship to the Sun and as a metal it brings out the highest manifestation of gold. If you dig into this cryptic sentence and do the research you will find many truths from a time when humans were not so disconnected from Nature and the Gods. Most will still ask you to desist if you find your way through that labyrinth, but those that listen would really benefit. :)

I would love to hear about the basic structures of the hexagram. Yin versus yang, what that means, and how it could play out. Also, are the lines yin or yang? Are 2s yang? 3s yin? There is still so much about HD I struggle to understand. (Open head and ajna, enjoying defined. I may never get it!)

In sync with this message, as I've recently been pondering a creative expression in order to more clearly communicate the stirrings from the well within - Personality Mercury - 48.6 & Design Mercury - 16.4. I've always been intrigued by Gate 48; it's also activated in my P & D Neptune in lines 4 & 5.
My communication seems to be fueled by the eagerness to explore and express the depths of Source Intelligence, and what it essentially means to simply exist in human form, and also how to maintain well-being on all levels.
It was interesting to note the hexagram structure of these gates, especially Gate 16 - all yin, except for one yang line.

Thanks Richard, I am also gate 38 (38.3) in a defined root centre, and I definitely feel like the underlying communication I have with people is to find a life that's worth living, fight for what you desire. But I'm going to have a look at the way I communicate in business to see if I can bring this out a little more.

Oh... we share some energy here! I have my D Mercury in 28.5 and my P Mercury in 38.6. I notice in my Creative Human Design sessions that I often give a language to people who are struggling with particular issues. It's like I can hear what is underneath their images and words. I wonder about the fact that we both have it in the upper trigram.. and how this impacts how the energy is expressed. Love Mercury :) Lucy

Wonderful Charliza. Insight from Ra may help your confusion: "If you are in the mood and you do things when you are in the mood, if you fail that is not your fault. Do not blame yourself. You have not lost anything in that.” And: "Because of the wave of allegiance and rejection, that you are always going to have situations where given whoever has the perspective, that the bond being broken can seem like a failure. It may not seem like a failure to the breaker of the bond but it may seem like a failure to the one who has had the bond broken, or vice versa." Hope that helps. Black is 14.3 (with an Up arrow next to it?) and Red is 29.6.
I have been told many times by Others that they often find my words calming, inspiring, profound or just what they need to hear in the moment. To me it feels guided by my Higher Self. So just being present in the moment, responding is where i find myself. Any insights from yourself would be appreciated. Trusting and following as i learn HD.
Wonderful Rosa. You can certainly be empowering to others. It is also a material Line so responding correctly can also lead you to wealth, providing you don't pour your energy and resources into those who will simply take advantage of your 14.3. Remember a Generator needs to be rewarded at some level for the energy they put out, so your RESPONSE is the key. Money comes as a by-product of service to the highest good in this characteristic. Design Mercury 38.5, conscious Mercury 27.2. Very interesting. I am a teacher and I am often “fighting” with students to help them see they are capable of the math we are learning. I have a big issue when people argue for their limitations; I feel myself push back and try to help them break through those beliefs of what they think they are capable of. Never thought about that as Mercury in the 38, but I am also the cross of penetration.
This also reminded me of my 3 degree Taurus Mercury, the degree at which my secondary progressed Chiron is currently (the discovery degree of Chiron, actually), and it’s interesting Chiron was discovered in Gate 27. There’s a Chiron/North Node conjunction later today and it’s happening exactly on my natal Venus (an orb of just 1 minute of arc, Venus is the ruler of my Taurus Chiron) while transit Venus is at 3 Aquarius, square that Mercury/progressed Chiron point, so I’ve been contemplating all things Venus & Chiron for the past few days.
This gives me another access point. Contemplating the gene keys 27 keynotes of the shadow of selfishness, the gift of altruism, and the sidhhi of selflessness. Those feel very “Chiron” to me, the path towards healing self so that you might help others heal based on your experience. Interesting that Chiron was discovered there.

@@humandesigninfo Chiron discovered in Gate 27 Nourishing, line 2 self-sufficiency in Human Design. Very interesting that Pluto is in the gate 60, talking about limitations. Learning how to nourish without depleting self (with my Chiron & design SN in gate 3).
As far as other systems, I cannot focus just on one; I go to whichever system I am drawn to in the moment. It feels like being multi-lingual to me. For me, it’s about flowing with the energy in the moment no matter what tool it is channeled through.

Hi Anca, Logic walks out of the door when the 25.6 shows itself. If correct, the uncontrived and spontaneous nature can be very healing... after the dust has settled. Use your past experience as a guide to the depth and breadth of how you can communicate going forward. The question is: 'How to does one express innocence in life?' How to BE in the existential experience without preconceptions. Often this is comes when alone, having withdrawn from the worldly motivations. :)

(My conscious South Node is at 12.4. Been there, done that, too.) My conscious Mercury is at 39.5. Much to mull over, here. Do continue your analyses of the planets, please. Would Chiron have eventually been included in Ra's system? Chiron would be at my Gate 41.1.

Right!?!? With my Open Head, and defined channel 11-56, I've been down so many rabbit holes I'm growing long pink ears and a fluffy tail! Also, I think I know why my preemie-adjusted unconscious chart may matter so much to my own personal analysis: I was my parent's seventh failed attempt for a son. While in utero I was loved, charished, well-nourished, and cared for. But when I was born, I was a huge disappointment and treated accordingly. (The son came 4 years later) Resulting BPD has led to a lifetime of studying astrology etc. to discover who I am. HD with the incorporation of my preemie-adjusted unconscious attributes rings true--at last. Now, I need to summarize myself on a cheat-sheet that I can post on the wall in front of me! My Mercury is 50.4 (corruption) and 4.3 ( looking for easy ways) 😂 Not too keen on those to be honest. I talk about science in an abstract way through my art, so 4.3 is there. Regarding 50.4....I have to think about it 😂

i can TOTALLY see how your mercury is igniting your '38,' even the correcting part--you do correct but this seems nearly always germane to the video you're doing/seems logical. clearly, you're fighting for a 'cause' thru HD!! that's a clear 38. you are able to use the power of speech & communication to push a point, so what do u do?? u speak to us thru a video. i love mercury! one of my favourite planets, i will even say gods. i have mercury in virgo so i get an accentuation--as a kid i remember being really taken w/the olde testament story of the snakes on a rod & i knew instictively that this was 'healing' magic. i come from a long line of doctors--i feel very affiliated to 'mercury.' my mercury is in a subconscious 23!! and what do they call me @ work?? Mercury has a strong relationship to the Sun and as a metal it brings out the highest manifestation of gold. If you dig into this cryptic sentence and do the research you will find many truths from a time when humans were not so disconnected from Nature and the Gods. Most will still ask you to desist if you find your way through that labyrinth, but those that listen would really benefit. :)

I would love to hear about the basic structures of the hexagram. Yin versus yang, what that means, and how it could play out. Also, are the lines yin or yang? Are 2s yang? 3s yin? There is still so much about HD I struggle to understand. (Open head and ajna, enjoying defined. I may never get it!)

Without Lines or Profile or seeing the chart itself I can simply say the 36 and 10 in Mercury could be described as you helping others through transitions and helping them to move with the changes to a new plateau where they can embrace their own uniqueness.
