If SBGL would have remembered their Terror ability, it would have been an easy win for them. I think it came into play at least twice. I know, it's tough to remember all the new rules. You need an off camera spotter on both sides, yelling out the rules to you when you miss one. Great game either way.

I’m just getting into AoS after playing 40k for a long time. This channel is by far the best. Love the curated format and narration. 40k batreps could learn something from this.

Great match! Although correct me if im wrong, I dont think chosen actually have the eye of the hods keyword, so they wouldn't get chaotic conduit, they just get one roll at the beginning.

Soulblight are very strong at the moment. I'm not sure how to manage their troop regeneration because they can even resurrect completely dead units. But this was a good fight. Enjoyed watching. Can't wait for more.

Prediction after turn 1: tough start for death getting the unwanted turn lol but depending on if one of the dragons are in range of Be'lakor this could swing pretty heavy in their favor. If they can't soulblight can very easily body block with the skeletons and counter punch with the dragons next turn. I have a gut feeling this will come down to whoever lands the first solid hit with that being said i dont think Be'lakor will die in one round of combat to a dragon anyways so im giving this one to the slaves after a tough fight. having only 2-3 decent damage output units puts you at massive risk against this type of slaves army

New tricks are strong, I think the books still solid. The command trait to hit on 2's against d3 key units is great in conjunction with an ethereal VLoZD!

The VLoZD had spiked earlier vs the Chosen, so I didn't feel bad about it at all about things balancing out 😏

I don't think terrorgheists are a great pick in the new book, same as the old. Way more effective to use those points for something else. Probably should've had Neferata in this list, she's amazing.

In turn 3 if Jordan was able to cast fight last on VLoZD , he could activate Chosen 2 time in a Row because both units had fight last, that was a very interesting combo and the big vampire could be down. Anyway i can see people play 2 VLoZD , expecially in legion of blood. The hunger ability is so good now!:)

These are all strong pieces for Slaves, besides maybe the Mindstealer. I think LotFP is solid but overshadowed by stronger Subfactions. Doesn't mean it can't perform well though!

I believe Legion has legs competitively. I run a similar list with some success. I use 6 varanguard instead of chosen. Legion is just a bit more techy than the general player likes i think and eye of the gods is what adds a lot of power to the list which can be swingy. Host and KotET are still the better option competitively tho.
