Ive always been obsessed with dame, the real thing! I was blessed to work 77 to 81 in kings equal opportunity program in the 70s amongst 2 great great men and mentors, that walked side by side with king and more importantly continued his dream.. dr Douglass cark and Ernest fields, who looks so much like dash esp with his tell it like it is approach n my pain ur gain, own ur bad bone and help others along! Dame does speak fluent boss. N he is creative visionary for so many things.. I just washed a beloved Rocawear shirt, thinking damon had to had input in its great design, surviving test of time, as many younger dudes compliment it. That 2 me sez everything..I know why he got sick of fashion 4 sure, but I have never seen this mans look be nothing but fashion forward..love how he rocks a boxing/ bathrobe with purple nut crunchers , white v neck and crew socks.. so fresh! Wish he'd do another men's line but understand why he won't. Always fresh in dress ,thought and vision. I love what he sez about being from.harlem..my grandma hung out there with her sisters in the 40s and 50s and always told me nobody could ever top the style of the men of harlem!

Kenyatta this is not hate just constructive criticism.. a lot of people tell you not to speak so much because you cut him off a lot just to literally say something. It's like you like hearing yourself. If you're gonna speak at least let it have some value to the conversation and try to let him finish his point before butting in. Nothing wrong with you both having dialogue but it can be done in a more efficient way. Just a tip.

Boss thoughts is a real thing. In my opinion its like being "called" to be an entrepreneur. Many people can be one but the calling to be a boss simply means that it is suffocating to work for someone else. It feels unnatural. Many people try to go the safe route do what we have been taught for so long but a person who speaks and thinks boss is always trying to figure out the business perspective. Even if they go against their inner calling and work at FedEx Office. They are thinking, I should start my own carrier service. if they work at mcdonalds and you want to know as much as you can about everything including the delieveries, the cost of cups how much that franchise. makes a day a month a year. but as Dame said people want the luxury. they want the money fame etc but they don't want the headaches they don't realize how many fires they are to put out on. daily basis. They don't know that with success comes jealousy from those who you thought would never cross you. I live in Silicon Valley and these young startup founders are taking all of the big time investors money and when things get tough they kill themselves from the pressure. The want to be the next zuckerburg but can't handle criticism from folks on the internet that don't know you but talk shit. Imagine millions of people knowing all of your personal business magazine posting how much money they think you have or don't have. Imagine every single thing that comes out of your mouth is a headline of some sort simply because you built a business that people use, like and feel they can talk to you and about you how ever they feel like it. I am not famous but I know famous people and I empathize with them so much but I also remind them that it's cost to be the boss! #bossthoughts

Ju Karera Damon Dash makes a lot of valid and encouraging points but they are often delivered in an egotistical tone that undermines the value of whatever facts he's asserting. A man should be independent and assert his own sovereignty rather than be colonised by another man or other individuals who often are not in any way better or superior to him. If he has a genuine talent he should labour hard to nurture that talent rather than subserve his inherent gifts and talents for the profit of another man and his entity. I think this is what Damïen Dash is saying but his way of speaking is unrefined and not sufficiently erudite that he can come across as a guy from the hood whose only conception of business is in ghetto-related ventures such as hiphop rather than a white-collar businessman who knows how to use spreadsheets and has an educated brainstorming model for business that schools such as Wharton, Colombia, Stanford and Harvard would teach. Damon Dash is inspiring but his unrefined dialogue and economical compassion for those who are not in a similar position to him can make him unappealing if not unlikable
