Everyone thinks Dame is dropping wisdom. NOT REALLY. He’s giving y’all the simple version…..I don’t think the average listener realizes the insane process it takes to get a movie in the theaters.
You have to write the script, that’s about a year or longer, find good actors, that could take 6+ months, find a studio to film it, find a film crew/director, get permits for all the locations your gonna film at. etc etc
We haven’t even got to the MONEY aspect yet.

I see Dame, I click, make time to listen, and take notes. Next I ponder, plan, then apply. A mogul not afraid to define the code and put his principles right in front as a beacon for those called to bare some of that same nature referred to as ‘creative’.
During interviews the events addressed, historical to current to future may cycle around but the focused ideals that rightfully serve as core tenets, and the ethic that sustains them, have yet to cease to establish what is edifying and liberating. A faithful sustenance to those pursuing their upright purpose. Consistently a vibe.

The only thing he should be focused on right now is acting and paying a dream team of lawyers. Jonathan Majors will be fine.

Part of that is because Ye didn't have the knowledge and know how. I remember him saying that in the Sway interview. He thought his celebrity would afford him leeway in the fashion world and power players would willingly share the knowledge. He humbled himself and learned but it took time to scale it. Partnering with the corporation and getting a cut is what Ye got.

My only issue with this interview is that the guest is interesting enough to not bait the guest into gossiping. I am so tired of salacious journalism. Don't mention anyone's name but your guest's name. Ask a question about the dark side of the industry and leave other names out of the discussion. It sounds catty. Dame talks about himself and his craft. He's a confident man.

I admire Dame’s hustle but his message of being your own boss is “flawed”…most people (especially black) lack the skills, education, resources, drive, discipline and funding you need to run your own business…it’s not easy and in fact most people fail and there is a lot a pressure to succeed and to be honest most people aren’t equipped to handle that kind of pressure or responsibility….also, as a business owner O can tell you the key to business is really having the right relationships…Dame has brilliant mind and his drive is “crazy” but his inability or unwillingness to work with other people and his ego is keeping him from accomplishing his goals

Its weird how DAME was the BUSINESSMAN, and JAY Z was just the RAPPER when they first started together back in the early 90's
Fast forward to 2023, its JAY Z who became the BUSINESSMAN, and is now worth 1 BILLION DOLLARS,
and DAME is still a BUSINESSMAN, but he's only worth maybe like 5 MILLION DOLLARS the most, lol.
The way DAME DASH talk, and his obsession with being a BUSSINESSMAN, TYCOON, ENTREPRENUER, and MOGUL, would make you think he shouldve been the BILLIONAIRE, not JAY Z, lol
