No, "we" are actually 18th, but with the same points as secure 17th. Exciting games ahead, maybe minus ManCity next weekend. But they will come from a loss at the Bernabeu.

Yeah so much for a football channel. Looking at a slow motion angle then saying its a dive... It was a lounging tackle by awb that miss the ball then the momentum of the tackle turn it into a sisscor action clipping on elliot trailing leg. Not a liverpool fan btw.
How can we say title over when literally we are equal on points with Arsenal barring the Goal difference which you never know we could make up, its Liverpool we are talking about they can go ballistic and score 5-6 in a single game when its our day, so never give up. Im a Liverpool fan and I didn’t think Elliot’s was a pen but having seen it shown slowed down after the match you see his right leg get knocked which takes him down. Not the second part of it like you’re describing in there Dougie!
If you see the AWB tackle close up, he actually makes contact with his back leg to Elliot's back leg which causes Elliot to misplace his footing and trip. As much as I'd love to say Liverpool are getting helped by VAR/referees like all season, this was a stone wall penalty.

What you have talked about with Villa and mentality is the exact reason why Arsenal had to get rid of Emery. He is a wonderful coach clearly, but I don't think he does enough to change the mentality at a club, which is exactly what Arteta has done. At the worlds top clubs the tactics are not enough, there is a mentality that needs to be there. Look at City, champions mentality.
Liverpools poor finishing??? But near the start of the season Arsenals poor finishing was the thing that was gonna cost them cause they didn’t have a striker…
Completely disagree on the penalty discussion. Total penalty for me, and I do not see how that’s not a foul; it’s literally a late challenge that clips Elliott, if he “expected contact” it does not matter, it’s still a horrible challenge from Bissaka.

At some point it's going to sink in for Chelsea fans that this is just their reality in a world without Roman. It's how they lived for 100 years before him, it's normal that they're returning to it after him. Also, funny stat about Chelsea, if you removed Palmers penalties this season they would be on 29 points, joint 15th with Brentford and if you took all of his goal contributions away they'd be on 25 points, joint with Forest and Luton. It brings me so much joy to see that club in this position.

I don't understand why Klopp would be disappointed by finishing behind Arsenal when they have been the best team in pretty much every metric and have the best underlying numbers!
@@tomgoodson3867 I get that but none of that takes away from what Arsenal, Liverpool, and Man City are doing! There are always going to be issues in games. Also, the fact that Arsenal has the same points as Liverpool with more losses means that Arsenal has won more games compared to Liverpool who has more draws.
