Dude I watch channels with millions of followers who build vehicles and honestly your builds are the one I most anticipate coming out. Thank you for the great content and entertainment. People share this show to like minded frenz and help Matt get his subscriptions up please.
This entire series of the chassis swap is AWESOME. You're doing a great job! I would say get the engine in next. Get it out of the way, and it's a major accomplishment.
I think you should do the engine first. You know there will end up being a reason to take some of the interior panelling back out and it will only get oily. Amazing progress as always. Thanks from the UK 🇬🇧
Wireless microphone is sounding great. Do the engine first before the interior. That way you can get it running. And if there’s anything wrong, you don’t have to tear the interior back apart.
Engine first. Check those rubber coolant hoses that aren’t accessible once the engine is in. You may want to replace them. Tell us more about your wall mount pressure washer.
Great work as usual Matt 👏🏻, the wireless mics sound great, it would be great to see the engine and transmission in place and fully connected and plumbed in, looking forward to the next one.
You should do the interior next video and while you send the car to paint you should clean the engine and install what ever mods on it. At least that's what I would do. But what ever you do next we all appreciate the videos.
i like the new microphones and i think they look neat, and also i think i might have seen one youtuber using them so far. but sound quality wise they’re not better than your regular microphones in my humble opinion.i actually prefer yours. but also big ups to your woman for gifting you with them, very thoughtful and sweet fasho ❤
Hey Matt nice work so far. I would start with the interior and work on the engine while it is outside of the vehicle. I would change all seals and pipes so you don’t have to worry about any leaks or smth. Keep the great work. Greetings from Porsches birthplace Germany.
i think i would like you to focus on the engine next, especially after the stressful days of wiring and installing lol. engine installation should be fun 😅
Hi Matt. Just to let you know bro. Alex from "LegitStreetCars" has just bought a Wide body Porsche 911 and he paid $27,500. There are parts with it that cost more than that. Big Turbo, $10,000 Wheels, crazy Exhause, and it was built for Sema. Definately go and See it. It's lovely bro. Your coming along with your own Car at a great speed, the Crashed one is now Scrap. So just one car to Concentrate on, keep it up, thanks Matt 😅😅 🇨🇮🇨🇮
I’m loving this series, great job, Matt. Depending on your plans, it’s a good time to consider sound deadening. All the panels are exposed so it’s the right time!
Dude honestly try to do all the work in putting in the engine trans etc so you can test everything before interior goes in dude. That way if anything needs adjustment or to be reworked etc nothing inside will be in your way. Love the videos keep them going! 😎😎💪🏻💪🏻
Microphone quality is great. I checked out the DJI Wireless Microphone System, looks like good quality upgrade for what you are doing. That Girlfriend of yours is a "Keeper". You're just having way too much fun there.
That's some solid work Matt, which has given you the opportunity to get the garage rearranged & your fabulous 996 turbo back inside. Your target of getting everything wrapped up before Christmas is definitely do -able at this rate! For my money, putting the engine back in should be your next priority, with the interior being done later. Keep up the great work! 👍👍
Hello engine 1st in the case you would have to access to the looms or something else from the inside. Great job! You rock. Congratulations from Annecy in France from a 997 mk2 x51 owner.
Huge milestone in the build. Was great to see that thing rolling. I would def do the engine in the next video. I’m sure you would too because I noticed that you and I share the similar ocd on doing things 😆 Can’t wait to see more progress on this beauty
Amazing how fast this is coming together, reflection of your can do attitude and dedication. I really did wonder if fixing the rails would have been easier.
The wireless mic seems great to me. As always, awesome job, solid content, strong work ethic. I emailed Sprayway to say how much I like and use their product, and told them give my dude a sponsorship! 😜🤙🏼
Thank you for your videos. They are fantastic. defo engine first imo. Also, if you haven't it's worth popping the aircon condensers off the front radiators as if there is any debris it will be between the two most likely. Cheers
Love your work. A bit to rough with parts that you want to look nice. Throwing interior parts in a bag together with bolts is a no go if you ask me…😮 And please clean stuff before you put it in/on the car. I’m just jealous 😂
Wireless mikes sound great, thank you kind gifter (GF)! They might be a tiny bit loud tho, or maybe i just had my volume low when I started the video. Car progress is great as well, its amazing how quickly you get all this done. You do have a 9-5 as well right? If so that's crazy.
Matt, your camera work and editing skills have really improved a LOT. I am a fan of the mobile mic 👍🏻 Your Porsche skills are also becoming pretty impressive. Thanks for producing great content. You make You Tube fun 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 oh, and the Engine next definitely 🫵🏻😉
Please paint the mirrors in glossy black. Grey needs an opponent as black...the air inlets on the sides black with folia, black alloy wheels, emblems in black...and a nice ducktail in back?😊 😊😊😊
What you gonna do with old shell? What about vin swaps ? Oh a note on your nuts bolts bags tip don't write in centre of tag use corner work down the sticker you'll get more use out the naming on the bag 😅
Hmm, seems like engine would be best since it will be going for paint. Less chance of getting any body shop residue or over spray on costly interior panels
We Porsche lovers appreciate everything you are doing
This middle age guy wishes he could afford one.
Thanks so much!
Dude I watch channels with millions of followers who build vehicles and honestly your builds are the one I most anticipate coming out. Thank you for the great content and entertainment. People share this show to like minded frenz and help Matt get his subscriptions up please.
Appreciate that so much! Sharing goes a LONG way!!
This entire series of the chassis swap is AWESOME. You're doing a great job! I would say get the engine in next. Get it out of the way, and it's a major accomplishment.
Thank you!
My favourite thing is that u r not some fancy workshop doing this major job. U r a legit home lad, doing it at home. Love ya work.
Just me at home. Thanks!
I LOVE the power washing as you go along. And do the engine first. Better to have everything open if it doesn't run for some reason.
Interior next. Engine last. Microphone sounds good. Love this build.
Def the engine and trans install - love this project!
I think you should do the engine first. You know there will end up being a reason to take some of the interior panelling back out and it will only get oily. Amazing progress as always. Thanks from the UK 🇬🇧
Yes, so much this.
Very true!
The engine and transmission installation is the next natural step to your project.
Your work is inspiring and I look forward to your videos.
Definitely do the engine/transmission next.
Thanks! Will do!
Great videos. Good filming, editing, pacing, character and posting schedule.👌
Much appreciated!
New microphone works for me!👍 I think I’d fit the engine next! Interior should be the last thing to go in ! Well done, great job!!!!
Swap out that coolant overflow tank while it's easy. Already looking slightly yellowish. Worth it.
Yes!!
The formerly bare chassis is now a rolling chassis. Well done Matt!
Correct!
This is my kinda Lego! It looks so, dare I say it, fun!
Awesome series, look forward to following it to completion!
Matt engine next. You're flying now. Looks like a car. Keep up the good work🤘
Great job Matt! In the next video engine and transmission install💪🏾
Wireless microphone is sounding great. Do the engine first before the interior. That way you can get it running. And if there’s anything wrong, you don’t have to tear the interior back apart.
Well I have to install the interior to start the engine.
This video, compared to the last, has upgraded in quality hugely ! The panning shots, the music, the audio quality, just brilliant 👌
Wow, thanks!
Engine first. Check those rubber coolant hoses that aren’t accessible once the engine is in. You may want to replace them. Tell us more about your wall mount pressure washer.
Link in description box for the washer. Love it!
Excellent progress, Matt! Good to see the 996 back inside where it belongs. Engine/trans next for sure. Can't wait to hear it fire up!
Great mic man! I say finish doing exterior and engine first bfore moving on to the interior
I'd do the engine and transmission next if I were you, save the fancy nice interior bits for after you've finished the mechanical bits.
i like the mics and the flashlight you used
New mic Rocks! Crystal Clear Audio!
As a follow 996TT owner I realize your efforts are monumental taken on by yourself. Follow your series religiously.
Absolutely love your content and your editing is only getting better. Thanks for making such a big commitment to share this Matt!
Great work as usual Matt 👏🏻, the wireless mics sound great, it would be great to see the engine and transmission in place and fully connected and plumbed in, looking forward to the next one.
New mic sounds great! Engine install for the next video.
Engine install next...finish interior after its painted and running ... cars looking good...enjoy the videos..
Have to have interior in it to test the engine though
The new Mic sounds great. Love the episode
You should do the interior next video and while you send the car to paint you should clean the engine and install what ever mods on it. At least that's what I would do. But what ever you do next we all appreciate the videos.
Rad respect for being a dud in a garage (mostly alone) smashing a rad project. The mics make a big difference. Stay motivated!
Thanks so much!
Hooked to this series! Engine detailed and placed into the car first followed by paint and then interior
Engine vid next for sure. And your new mic sounds just fine
engine, them paint and them interior to not mess the interior up
It’s got doors!!!!! Dude as a professional technician at a dealership. I look forward to watching these videos!! Love the projects.
I appreciate that!
i like the new microphones and i think they look neat, and also i think i might have seen one youtuber using them so far. but sound quality wise they’re not better than your regular microphones in my humble opinion.i actually prefer yours. but also big ups to your woman for gifting you with them, very thoughtful and sweet fasho ❤
Awesome job so far and can’t wait for it to be finished. Let’s see the engine and trans go in before the interior.
Good vid matt 👍🏻😎
new mic is doing a great job of canceling echo and ambient noises
Great job,in the next video engine and transmission install please.
Love the series, do the interior first and then get it painted and then do the engine
Amazing progress. Looking forward to the first turn of the key, or depress of the ignition.
So am I!!!
Hey Matt nice work so far.
I would start with the interior and work on the engine while it is outside of the vehicle. I would change all seals and pipes so you don’t have to worry about any leaks or smth. Keep the great work. Greetings from Porsches birthplace Germany.

Pan to glass cleaner was gold! @ 11:30
Hahaha yup!
Engine seems like the more logical next step you never know if you might have to go wire hunting and the interior might get in the way.
My back hurts just watching you.
Go for it young man
I’m a Jaguar owner but I love your vlogs ,one of my favourites , you will be an expert on Porsches
I appreciate that!
The wireless mics sound much better! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Love the mics. Made me want to order a set.
Great job as always Matt, loving the build. Your new Mic works just fine.
Great progress, you’ve achieved lots of
great series. I can't wait for you to fire it up for the first time!!
Looking good man! Lets do the interior next if that works for you.
Hi Matt. Just to let you know bro. Alex from "LegitStreetCars" has just bought a Wide body Porsche 911 and he paid $27,500. There are parts with it that cost more than that. I just watched that haha
@@matt13ross Nice one Matt
Great vid as usuall
I have a 1999 impreza GT gf8 as my hobby, and the garage is great place to be at 😊
I’m loving this series, great job, Matt. Depending on your plans, it’s a good time to consider sound deadening. All the panels are exposed so it’s the right time!
Carpet is incredibly thick already though. Not sure if it's worth it.
Of course. I was thinking more of the door panels, I installed deadening on my 981, makes such a difference. Looking forward to the next video!
Dude honestly try to do all the work in putting in the engine trans etc so you can test everything before interior goes in dude. That way if anything needs adjustment or to be reworked etc nothing inside will be in your way. Love the videos keep them going! 😎😎💪🏻💪🏻
Great work! I'd say engine! But whatever makes more sense on your end :)
Microphone quality is great. I checked out the DJI Wireless Microphone System, looks like good quality upgrade for what you are doing. That Girlfriend of yours is a "Keeper". You're just having way too much fun there.
The wireless mics sound great! I can hear everything 👍🏼
That's great to hear, thanks!
Love the videos and new mic. It maybe could use one more notch up in sensitivity/volume.
Hey Matt, this series is a real game changer. Fast paced and really engaging. Great idea awesome vid.
Glad to hear it!
Amazing progress so far! Also new 🎤 are working great!
Dang! I had to step away for a bit then came back to a boat load of progress! Good work!

@22:18 , I saw two guys out at the truck….. then saw the car start rolling . Lol thought it was going into to the banana!
Love this series.
Glad to hear it!
Hope soon we will see it driving man. Good job so far
Amazing how fast this is coming together, reflection of your can do attitude and dedication. I really did wonder if fixing the rails would have been easier.
It's moving very quickly!
The wireless mic seems great to me. As always, awesome job, solid content, strong work ethic. I emailed Sprayway to say how much I like and use their product, and told them give my dude a sponsorship! 😜🤙🏼

Great to see it moving forward quickly & good to see you have some help great vid as always 👍👍👍🇬🇧
Love your work. A bit to rough with parts that you want to look nice. Throwing interior parts in a bag together with bolts is a no go if you ask me…😮
And please clean stuff before you put it in/on the car.
I’m just jealous 😂
It's not a show car lol. I could be more careful yes.
Engine and transmission then the interior. Get the shift cables installed and adjusted
I do need to adjust them still.
Doesn't matter which, just keep going forward!!
Best Porsche build on YT!
Thanks so much!!
Still the best looking 996 on the internet. Can’t wait to see the 997. (And then hopefully something air cooled next)
Thanks so much! I do love my 996! (minus the CEL and other current issues)
How has the algorithm not picked u up yet? You’re a beast
I know, makes me sad 😢
very nice content very nice editing ..love your videos , you deserve 500k subs
Thanks so much, hopefully someday soon!
You are a machine dude, making so much progress on this thing. Can't wait to see it running and driving 🙌
You and me both!
Yea I have a full time non car job.

Id prefer CF!
@@matt13ross thats much better. You only need contrast to the grey
