First LIRR Revenue Run of MARC Coaches @ Long Island City

LI train 613 crosses Borden Avenue east of Long Island City Station with Five Sumitomo/ Nippon Sharyo "MARC II" cars in tow. This early morning run from Port Jefferson to Long Island City marks the cars' first day in revenue service on the Long Island Rail Road. The LIRR leased 8 of the cars from MARC to free up their C3 fleet to accommodate extra summer service on the Montauk. They will be used on two Port Jefferson trains which frees up 6-9 C3s for use on the Montauk.
The train consist was as follows;

-MARC 7754 (MARC II Cab Car)
-MARC 7706 (MARC II Coach)
-MARC 7756 (MARC II Cab Car)
-MARC 7707 (MARC II Coach)
-MARC 7747 (MARC II Cab Car)

Yeah because the only locomotive hauled coaches on the LIRR are C3 bilevels, it looks odd to see the DM30s/DE30s pulling anything else other than them. In this case, MARC single levels
