This makes the small corporations die out as they cant afford high taxes and so the only ones left are the big corporations. They then get monopoly and can charge how much they like because theyre thr only one in that market. People usually blame this on capitalism, but in reality if we had actual capitalism and a free market this wouldnt happen since the corporations selling for too high prices would die out if they didnt change their pricing. Learn a bit more about economics before hating on capitalism
I think Jango is gonna be in a Kamino Set, either a MBS Kamino or, which I think is more likely, a Jango's Quarters Diorama. It could include plain clothes Jango with his armour in the cupboard like it is in the movie. It could include that amazing episode 2 Obi Wan; a Kaminoan, be it a reuse of Taun We or a brand new one; a new young Boba Fett figure; and, of course, plainclothes Jango (although with the armour as well)
we don’t know enough about the interceptor yet to judge it. It could be a lot bigger than any previous version. Not defending Lego’s prices, but you can’t judge this set just from leaks alone.
Acclamator and Home One are day-one buys for me. I am BEYOND excited for those. I hope they keep going with the Starship collection, I'd love to see them do the Liberty & Profundity from the Mon Calamari shipyards! A refresh of the Imperial Star Destroyer, or even a Victory-class would be really nice, too! Or on the Separatist line, a Lucrehulk, Munificent, or Recusant.
imagine if the Arc-70 included (specifically mentioned) the 3 Clone Troopers that shot down Plo Koon...i don't think they have names and i don't know how you would distinguish them from other clone pilots, but make the set better or worse? i would love Jango Fett to return in a Coruscent Speeder Chase set....2 speeders, Jango, Obi-Wan, Anakin and Zam Wesell, maybe a Sebulba cameo figure? Granted, it would probably cost $90-110 dollars.....for that Zam should get 2 heads, a human head and an alien head, also any speeder set should include a clear pillar that would allow the speeders to be displayed pivoting or turning
It's not a scam by lego. It's because of the licensing fees. Disney and Lucasfilm have messed up really bad with there shows and movies the paat fee years including a lot of lack luster Star Wars projects, costing them millions of dollars in loses. To make up for it they have been raising the prices at the parks and on their licenses to try and make up for the loses and since lego has to pay a fee to both Disney and Lucasfilm it means the price increase even more due to having to pay licensing fees to both companies. You see similar things with other themed sets, like in speed champions, even though a lot of the single car sets are the same piece count you are beginning to see a variation in prices on sets released the same year because of the licensing fees by certain car manufacturers for specific cars.

As much as I hate to say it, 5 minifigures included in a 45$ starfighter can fully be blamed on wishful thinking. Those just aren't realistic expectations anymore, especially now that minifigures have become more expensive to produce (leg printing, arm printing, dual faces and in some cases even dual molded etc.) Not defending lego in any way, at least that's not the reason why I'm posting this comment, but it's easy to be disappointed when your expectations are based on how things were done years ago. Costs have increased, more effort has been put in certain details (such as the detailed minifigures) and the Star Wars fanbase in general is crazy enough to keep paying whatever price Lego/Disney puts on it (guilty of this myself as well). This applies just as much to Lego as Hasbro as Star Wars Outlaws and other digital releases in my opinion.
I go to my local stores every week and I don’t really notice a difference in stock. I don’t think people are paying these absorbent prices. I’ll wait for sales, and even then it won’t be an obvious choice for most of these.
