Yeah man, was trying to give them opportunities to correct it and even after the last email where I doxxed myself and let them know the whole thing was done for the purpose of a review , still the same answer, 😂. Hopefully they get it together. All the pics shown and explanations were given about everything to them via email and they've had plenty of time . Good learning lesson for everyone to know where not to go for repairs atleast.

Yeah I'm hoping someone who sees this has another option they've used or better recommendations, we definitely need a list of good repair services, we have one we can ❌ off, 😂. But now we know.
Thanks for posting this. Ive had similar experiences with some repair centers and as a result try to stay away from machines that have a known history of failures (never again T17/S17). They should really replace the hashboard at this point but realistically id be same as you happy to get it back working.
Yeah. Definitely a frustrating experience , if it was a btc miner maybe I could get a replacement as there is more availability, but definitely not for this guy , good learning lesson, hopefully it works again, one day, 😂
I had a bad experience selling two DR5's on ebay. Eventually got UPS to cover the price of repairs after 2 months. Went through East Coast Asic and had no complaints. They worked with me and UPS. I'd go through them again for another repair.

I have bunch of K7 mining BTC via NiceHash.. shall I get rid of them and replace them with Kaspa miners or you suggest keeping them and continue after CKB halving?
My personal plan, definitely to keep them, prices will be at all time low for the hardware, once prices do recover , they are still the best hardware to mine ckb and will be profitable again. The cheaper your electric is, the better off you will be, people will unplug , and difficulty will adjust depending on how the price action goes.
@miningstacker one more thing. Your thoughts about KS3? Couple of days ago, I've ordered 2 of them, and I'm feeling FOMO currently thinking of buying more KS3. I hate this feeling, but I see an opportunity 😅 what do you think?
@@BinDubai8 word is stock is getting real slim, iceriver is officially sold out of ks1/ks2 and ks3 , and looks like there's already price hikes for the distributors who still have allocation. If you believe price of kaspa stays in this range for a while, mite be a good time as may not get a drop on next batch after this, alot of risk , but alot of potential reward, especially if you don't have much kaspa exposure currently. But up to you and risk tolerance

I would demand a new board. Thats not acceptable. Also, I have bought a few miners from them and had to get a return on 2 of 3 because their timelines were months off. They just seem to be a hot mess.
Not good, thanks for that input on them always like to hear people's feedback on vendors , yeah a replacement board , or even just replacing all damaged components would be nice, but very disappointing experience.

BT-Miners are just plain poorly built miners. I bought two BMK1 Max Kadena miners for over $4000 each. One worked for six months and just stopped working. Changing the board out doesn’t help, disconnecting one board at a time doesn’t help. So I assume power supply issue. The other Max I bought is now intermittently working with one board or two boards. Third board never works, but one board always works and the other needs a reboot a couple times a week. 2 for 2 for the only BT-Miners machines I’ve ever bought. I’ll never mine as much as these machines cost, let alone being profitable at $0.11kwh. I’ll never buy another BT-Miners machine. Problems with the machines started just as the KA3 machines went online, so they were instantly unprofitable the moment that happened, so I haven’t even bothered to make a warranty claim or pay for repairs. It simply isn’t worth it for these boat anchors. They’ll never get another dime from me. Got 4 KA3s on the way. When they show up, my two Goldshell KD-Max and my one remaining half-assed BMK1 Max will all be powered down for good. Let’s go KDA!!!
Thanks for the insight on the Ibelinks, never really heard many people comment on quality, they got wrecked before they even released unfory. Ka3 has been doing good though , no issues with that guy. Think kda will surprise a lot of people these next two years, stablecoins coming finally is big, not sure how I feel about the rebrand so far, was actually a fan of the pink, 😂
@@miningstacker I’ll honestly be happy if KDA gets anywhere north of $4. That’s my goal, see it through $4. I don’t see it getting to a new ATH any time soon unless it somehow beats out Solana and many other comparable coins. That’s a tough road, considering how small they are. Think about how many people know the name Solana, versus how many people know the name Kadena outside the mining world.
I'm right there with ya, price targets at 5 bucks , anything over 1.20 makes up for my goldshell, anything more is gravy, DCA'd a good chunk at .43-45. doesn't look like any other competition on the horizen and payouts been pretty steady at 20ish/kda/day, hopefully stays like this another while at this difficulty

Yeah the last email I sent I did dox myself and let them know my intention of doing a review about it. Sucks because it's one of the few vendors that I've personally used successfully , definitely not what I expected, but at least the verdict is out for people to learn from. @@boostedz0645 probably, was ideally trying to look for an easily accessible person/center , I know a lot of them do large contract work for maintenance/repairs/consulting for farms. Demand will probably be pretty high right now/future for asic techs.
