It's a stick shift car and driver skill dependent. Seems like the gt500 was trying to launch at a much higher rpm than his rear end could handle.

do you prefer the jlt or the stock intake? my jlt intake temps go up by a lot.
You can really feel the top end difference with jlt I ran both back and fourth thats with my experience tho.
Any open air intake is virtually useless unless you are at the track with continuous airflow. Even then, the air will be hot air since it's open and pulling from the engine bay. The stock airbox or a closed box is much better. You can go with a fenderwell intake which is the best option for the lowest air Temps since it pulls fresh air and shielded from the hot engine bay.
