blue eyes were actually a genetic mutation about 100,000 years ago, and before everyone's eyes were brown and eventually the combination made green and hazel eyes, and it's the reason why brown eyes are still most common because they were the original ones.
the reason that left handed people are so uncommon is that a long time ago people with left hands were seen as evil or demonic so they trained babies from a young age to use there right hand. Some countries still do this!
I am actually pretty rare, my first rare quality was being able to ride a bike, my second rare quality was green eyes, my third rare quality was central heterochromia, (I have hazel in the center of my eyes)

One of my friends has heterochromia and she has one dark brown eyes and then this really bright blue eye. It's really neat. I have hazel eyes so I mean ig I can still be sorta rare
Actually Jack, your rarer then you think. The most humans that have blue eyes have blond hair. Its rare when you have an different hair color with blue eyes.
I found that my rarest trait is being a triplet. My brother and sister helped me become rare I guess. But sometimes i still want to punch them in the face.
Wow so that means my sister has a pretty rare condition. Never though about it but in the vid it says that about 1% of people have vitiligo. Though my sister's spots aren't that noticeable because of her light skin tone. Fun Fact: Vitiligo looks really cool under a uv light, the doctors used one to see where her spots were.
I have vitiligo and found it quite interesting because I'm slightly disturbed that I had just as good a chance of having vitiligo as has being a psychopath
Fun fact: in a ballet studio, many of the dancers are hyperextended, which is not quite the same as double jointed but produces the same effect. I can bend my elbows backwards :)
I (as a blonde) told my friend that statistically only 22 people in our college are blonde, she then proceeded to point out people whom had light brown hair, we asked some of our classmates to point out a blonde, and had mixed results of 'there are none', and more pointing at people that (definetly) weren't blonde. We argued about it for a while before I told her "maybe my standards of what a blonde is are higher than yours" she told me that was stupid. -_-

I had eczema almost everywhere since I was about like 2. It’s been annoying me for a very long time. I’m pretty sure I got eczema from eating a cookie with peanuts in it. Yes, I am allergic to peanuts.
Just want to say: Ethnicity is only a cog in a bigger machine when it comes to brown/blue eyes, there are factors such as genetics playing a part in the likeliness, in fact both blonde hair and blue eyes were caused by mutations. (Although this is factual, don’t trust everything I say, I’m only a GCSE student who is a nerd)
@@pyropotassium4076 (again, I'm only a GCSE student, and I've just finished Weimar and Nazi germany in history) you may think that, however Hitler thought all he was doing was good, he might use the argument that the mutation is a beneficial adaptation, and it wasn't that he liked the colours or the way it looked, he liked it as he saw those people as smarter and more able than people with different hair and eye colours.
@@ravenmoon3625 Yea true. But where science that mutation was benefi- nvm Hitler killed off quite a few [intellectuals]. Edit - you're not the youngest here, I'm only a 13yo student not studying any curriculum specific for uni entry yet. So ig my argument is more absurd than one backed by intensive study/lecturing.
0.03% of humans have heterochromia?? In elementary school I had two boys with heterochromia in my class! What's the chanced of that?! For those who wonder, one of the boys have one and a half brown and half a blue eye brown eye, and the other had one blue and one yellow (might be green, but if so it's *very* yellow tinted). Maybe the craziest thing by far is that the last boy, his yellow eye have over the years slowly turned more and more blue (even though it started out completely yellow), and now it's almost fully blue
Actually, heterochromia can come in 2 forms: where there are different colonies in each eye or where there are two different colors in one eye, but repeated in both. I have the second form.
By the way wisdom teeth usually start developing at 7-10 years old but that doesn't mean they're growing in that just means the actual teeth physically appear/grow. The teeth usually grow in at ages 17-21
I actually am ambidextrous because of something that happened in third grade. I played teatherball a lot at school. One time when I was playing and I hit my thumb on the pole REALLY hard. Also I hurt my left thumb(I'm left handed) and I ended up pretty much cutting a slit in my bone. I had to wear a cast for a while, so I had to write with my right hand, and now I'm pretty good at it. I guess there was a benefit to that story😅
it’s actually impossible to be biologically ambidextrous, there is always other factors playing a part. I am supposedly biologically ambidextrous as everyone thinks I can use my hands exactly the same, however when writing although they look this same, I find more comfort in my right hand, however for everything else I find comfort in my left hand
something somewhat similar happened to me, im biologically right handed but for some reason learnt to write with my left hand? so i can just kinda do both now
As someone with blond hair and a bit color-changing eyes I feel special now (if you are wondering how my eyes are color-changing I have no idea, it changes from brown, to grey, to blue, to grenish-grey with blue and back to brown, my eyes are weird)
I generally used to think I was going crazy as someone who takes comfort in science and genes, however hair changes from dark brown to light brown and to red. But it’s good to know I’m not the only one who changes colour
I'm left handed, I have brown eye, I can speak more than 2 languages (I can speak 4 lol), I'm Under 18, I can ride a bike, I'm bisexual and I have blond hair. (the rarest is blond hair). I'm a little bit rare, a little bit.
That happens to me, I have hazel eyes. Once I go into the light, or wear a Green shirt.. My eyes turn green. That's how the light effects on the shirt to your eyes. I don't know about the blue part, although. Your eyes may be naturally blue.
After watching the video, I guess I'm pretty rare? I'm ambidextrous, I have ginger hair (though I dyed it red now), I can ride a bike, I'm bi, I'm double-jointed, I have curly hair... Don't have webbed toes though.
If I was basing this on what my parents would say, my rarest trait would be the Genius level because I got my I.Q. tested when I was a kid and I did reach Genius level. But I am an adult now so I don't know if that's true anymore lol. I do have perfect visual memory. But I am ambidextrous though, even though I still prefer to write with my left hand. I heard it's easier for lefties to become ambidextrous though. One of my brothers does have webbed feet though. Well partially. On both feet his 2 and 3 toe have that webbing. I don't know anyone else that has. This same brother is also color blind. He got out of folding socks because he would constantly mismatch my dad's military socks and my own colorful socks lol.
I tend to equate us introverts to a battery, we can have all of this energy in the beginning, but eventually we need to 'recharge' by do things that don't require socializing. Like even I get worn down interacting with my friends.
Things I have - Dark Haired - Brown Eyes - Right Handed (well I'm basically both handed but I use my right hand mostly - Under 18 - Introvert (but if I do something an introvert can't do once I can do it all the time) - Brown Hair - Curly Hair (wavy and curly is basically the same thing right?) I have more stuff but I gtg bye Please like ❤ 👇🏼

My eye color is hazel 0-0
Same but my eyes are still blue
ArE yOU sADie SiNK?

Y'know that gray is the rarest eye colour right?
3:57 I either have hazel or sectoral heterochromia eyes

Just want to say:
Ethnicity is only a cog in a bigger machine when it comes to brown/blue eyes, there are factors such as genetics playing a part in the likeliness, in fact both blonde hair and blue eyes were caused by mutations.
(Although this is factual, don’t trust everything I say, I’m only a GCSE student who is a nerd)
True their are Black people and south aisans who have blue eyes
@@wondergirl1586 exactly
If Hitler knew about that during the WWII era, he would've ended himself before starting it; the Aryan race is a mutation, take that ;p

It's a 0.015% chance normally but in your maybe 0.0015%?
Actually, heterochromia can come in 2 forms: where there are different colonies in each eye or where there are two different colors in one eye, but repeated in both. I have the second form.
I think the second one is called central heterocromia, but, hey, I'm not a doctor or scientist
I have a blue left eye and a blue and brown right so I'm the last option
I can shake my eyes really fast.
How rare is that
Not very
Maybe 0.0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001
Thats as rare as being able to shake your eyes fast.
Not that rare, however I don’t know the exact statistical value, I’m only guessing as I know quite a lot of people can do that
Me speaking more than three languages and have green eyes: AM RARE AVERYBODY
By the way wisdom teeth usually start developing at 7-10 years old but that doesn't mean they're growing in that just means the actual teeth physically appear/grow. The teeth usually grow in at ages 17-21
👌🏻〇
Funnily enough I have elf ears, I never thought it was that rare. Guess i'm an minority.
I have them too I always joke that I’m not human

I speak 3 languages and I was born with a extra finger and toe😂
I actually am ambidextrous because of something that happened in third grade. I played teatherball a lot at school. One time when I was playing and I hit my thumb on the pole REALLY hard. Also I hurt my left thumb(I'm left handed) and I ended up pretty much cutting a slit in my bone. I had to wear a cast for a while, so I had to write with my right hand, and now I'm pretty good at it. I guess there was a benefit to that story😅
So, your not biologically ambidextrous, but you learned to be one. That's actually way cooler!!!
@@hyram3 Thanks!
it’s actually impossible to be biologically ambidextrous, there is always other factors playing a part. I am supposedly biologically ambidextrous as everyone thinks I can use my hands exactly the same, however when writing although they look this same, I find more comfort in my right hand, however for everything else I find comfort in my left hand
@Volkswagen For me I would say I'm more comfortable with my left hand but they're pretty simular
something somewhat similar happened to me, im biologically right handed but for some reason learnt to write with my left hand? so i can just kinda do both now

As someone with blond hair and a bit color-changing eyes I feel special now (if you are wondering how my eyes are color-changing I have no idea, it changes from brown, to grey, to blue, to grenish-grey with blue and back to brown, my eyes are weird)
Thats hazel eyes! I also have hazel eyes and blonde hair and hazel changes color depending on the light! (at least thats what I think your saying idk)
I generally used to think I was going crazy as someone who takes comfort in science and genes, however hair changes from dark brown to light brown and to red. But it’s good to know I’m not the only one who changes colour
dude once i got bit by a dog and didn't feel pain, that was a day...
I'm left handed, I have brown eye, I can speak more than 2 languages (I can speak 4 lol), I'm Under 18, I can ride a bike, I'm bisexual and I have blond hair. (the rarest is blond hair). I'm a little bit rare, a little bit.
that is not rare
Blond is not the “rarest” hair, it’s ginger/red
@@gummybear7490 Brown and Dark brown are most common hairs.

Sometimes my eyes are blue, sometimes they are green. HOW RARE MUST I BE!?
That happens to me, I have hazel eyes. Once I go into the light, or wear a Green shirt.. My eyes turn green. That's how the light effects on the shirt to your eyes. I don't know about the blue part, although. Your eyes may be naturally blue.
75% of the people I know say I have grey eyes and since they don't got that on the list.. Am I rare or no?
After watching the video, I guess I'm pretty rare?

I kind of have an elf ear. Always thought I just had a weird looking ear, now I know I‘m rare 😄
Considering people try to get that with body modification, I'd say you have a cool rare thing going on there!

i am actually an introvert and yes its true that we can be social but we prefer to do other things by our self
I tend to equate us introverts to a battery, we can have all of this energy in the beginning, but eventually we need to 'recharge' by do things that don't require socializing. Like even I get worn down interacting with my friends.

Some of these statistics are certainly off by a lot, the fact that being over 7 feet tall, and being a billionaire are practically the same odds is absurd. Though being over 7 feet is rare, it's not unheard of. I've seen people that are over 7 feet. But never seen a billionaire
