One of the options to do is that store your apps and the main os on th ssd (basically the ones which are available online) while the personal files can be stored on the hdd. The hdd can be external as well
Do you have to mount to the same VeraCrypt drive each time or can you mount to any A-Z drive in the VeraCrypt software window? Also what if I am missing drive f:? Did I accidentally hide it? Thanks
Thanks man, this is a great tutorial, appreciate that. But i wanna ask something about file you make "mysecret container" if the containers file you make with veracrpt is delete. Is that possible the file we save in container are lost or delete too?
Great my friend, what is the difference between it and truecrypt and can we make a like verycrypt in Python, and is it possible to crack the encryption??
if the size of the outer volume is 50 mb including the 10 of the hidden volume how come when you mount the outer volume in "protect hidden volume mode" the size is still 50 ? what happens if I create a file with size of say 45 mb ? how can it be stored without overriding the hidden volume because the size of the outer volume (not including the hidden) is just 40. can someone explain to me?
@@davitgabrielyan7136 He says the exact opposite at: 15:34, from this, we can assume that when you put (for example) 50 mb in the outer volume and 10mb in the inner volume, the outer volume will be overidden and the inner volume will stay safe.
@@omoor1668 It depend on how you mount the outervolume. To not overwrite the inner(hidden) volume by mistake you have to use the mount options and check the "protect inner volume" checkbox.
this video is a godsent , i was trying to find out how to hide my files all the time without the hidden files option that persons can just disable
This is the best video I've seen on Veracrypt. Well done and thank you!
Thank you. You are a good teacher!
Thanks, is it better to get a SSD than getting a HDD? since recovering deleted files from a SSD is more harder?
That depends on your work..

Thank you for sharing. Can I encrypt the file with VeraCrypt, save it on a usb drive and open it on different computer?

1. Truecrypt is discontinued
2. You can but that's a big project
3. As of right now not unless you guess the key
@@NeuralNine Wonderful
Can you talk a little bit about how his encryption is cracked, if only in theory!

He touches on this at the end of the video. Basically the 10mb is treated as empty space and can be overwritten if you are not careful.

@@xr1140 Yeah, I forgot.
i used veracryprt years ago to hide files in an mp3 file, but forgot the password, is there any way to unlock it or recover?
It wouldn't be very secure if you could, so I'd guess not.
Great video, I'm definitely trying this out.
Bro this trick is so long may you create small trick.
