90% of the heritage and artifacts have been distroyed which was spiritual to Makkah and Islam. What these portray are simply the materialistic stuff that the Al Sauds built and removed. That's about it.
@@murtazalehri Not necessarily,there were some things from the ottoman era,mamluke abbasid,etc. And most of these you're talking about were destroyed for the purpose of enlarging the capacity of the holy mosque.

Just a point to note, most of the wood we see in the construction of the masajid in Mecca and Medina, were brought from an area in india called Kerala. Keralq had established trade libks with the Arabs, way before Islam. A king in Kerala is probably one of the first kings ever to revert to Islam. There are many sahabis who lived in kerala and are buried there. In fact , Kerala is an important part of our muslim empire which is sadly forgotten by the Arab historians
