Yes, they’re totally worth the price. Every year I find discount codes for 30% off. I find I can get about 2000 miles before the outsoles are completely worn out, which is incredible. A normal shoe will last about 500 miles before the midsole wears. Vivo’s will outlast any other barefoot shoe brands, in my experience.
Yeah I do think they’re worth the price. You can always find a 20% off discount code, and I find they last about twice as long as a cushioned shoe. I own several barefoot brands and I find myself reaching for my Vivo’s more than any other brand.
I returned mine, the stiching on the inside of this gave me blisters on the back heel.I was even wearing socks, didn't go more than 1km and pain was unbearable. I have 2 pairs of the Motus Strength & Flex, both are amazing. Just recently ordered another 2 pairs of different Vivos too. Primus Trail FG knit get a 0/5 from me.
Thanks for the video. I was choosing between these 2 shoes as well as the regular Trail FG. It's mostly weight training and outdoor running. Is there a reason you went with the Knit version over the regular? I'm not a huge fan of the sock feeling, but its not a deal breaker if it is specifically better for my needs. I noticed the Motus also have the sock like upper as well.
Hey man, thank you for watching! No real reason to be honest, I think it came down to the colour and the overall style of the shoe for me. I actually like a sock-style upper for training shoes as I like that snug feeling, but everyone is different. I don't think it would make too much difference to your training. The main thing is the grip especially if you're running a lot. Whatever version you go for make sure you go for one with that deeper tread rather than the more shallow tread style that the Motus have, you will notice the difference in grip if you run on wet days. That would be my recommendation 👍🏾
I have regular primus trails, and my wife knits.. and though you'd think the knits should be lighter, thinner, more breathable, it's the opposite, the regular trails are synthetic and the mesh thus is less dense and breathes better, also because it's synthetic it's less water absorbent so should dry quicker. Y really can feel any breeze on your foot with thin sock.. the knits have natural fiber I believe, the fibers are finer and more densely knitted together which doesn't allow for air to flow through that eallsily..regular trails might be my all time fav barefoot shoe (8 years in barefoot shoes)
How does your size compare with the motus flex and these? I have the all weather sg's in eu45 and they fit perfect. I want to try the flex but not sure of sizing.
That's a good question! My current pair is the Fex here listedfit.com/s/gZQXS I use them almost every day. There are a couple things that don't make them perfect, but so far I'm happy with them!
Thanks, for the video, I live in Manchester and I’m looking to get either the primus knit or primus all weather, do you think the knit will survive the bad weather?
No, mainly because there's not much insulation in these shoes. The all weather ones might give you a bit of water protection, but in terms of warmth, I've never tried a pair that kept my feet warm.
Tell me, do you think Vivos are worth their price tag? 🤔
heavily overpriced of course-) merrell are much better price vs quality

Did you do firm ground ( concrete/cuty) running in these ? I'm stuck on which pair to buy!! 😅 thank you for your review.
Cheers, in black and white they look crisp!
How was sizing? Did you need to size up in the Primus Trail Knits?

Hey mate, I bought both and returned the knit. I felt like the knit was suffocating my feet. The regular trail a tad shorter which was perfect for me.

What is your favorite pair of barefoot shoes for lifting weights and dailyware? (One that can be good in both areas)
That's a good question! My current pair is the Fex here listedfit.com/s/gZQXS

I like my trail knits too but I’m on day 3 and my pinky toe hurts from where it creases
This is happening to me too, just got them today. Did it get better for you over time?
I love mine - I have 2 colorways in this model
the trail knits wear down very fast unfortunatly. Its a big problem with all their shoes.
Dude my primus knit shoes friggin tore off the toes after 3 days of lifting…actually 3 days…
