    can you share a chat link with another team member so they can interact with it too, or it is only a read only type share situation?

    Hello. I need help with the Team plan. How can I find out which Member sent an invite to other users? Notifications about this don't come to the Owner and Admin. And there's no option to disable the ability for Members to send invites. One incorrect invite can turn into a huge bill at the end of the month when participants invite just anyone. How can this be fixed? Perhaps this is an idea for one of your videos...

    Question: I saw that there were a lot of Custom GTP in your personal account but with your teams since it is new, there was the only quick one you made.
    Does all of the other ones from your personal account transfer over to the teams account?
    I’ve put a ton of work in all mine and don’t want to have to redo all that work if it does not.

      They do not transfer, and what is weirder, you can’t have one browser tab open with your personal plan ChatGPT interface open and another tab with your teams plan ChatGPT interface open-it will switch both browser tabs when I switch one of them.

      @@webcafeai - and the other thing is - if an individual wants the functionality and is willing to pay for the 2 seats (for whatever reason...), then there needs to be clarification as to whether or not an individual can purchase the 2 seats as a individual - else it just sounds like they're trying to make business harder for those that work alone.

    And there's another issue: if you have, as I do, several customized GPTs and old GPT conversations you value, you can't transfer them to the team account. So, you end up having to maintain (and pay for) two separate accounts: a personal one and another within the team group. This will likely be the deal-breaker for me in deciding to suspend my team account.

    • @webcafeai

      As of now, I believe not; in order to get the capabilities of GPTs, we would use the OpenAI API. Although the actual GPT itself that we create in ChatGPT is under that domain.
      That being said, this is definitely a big demand in the community, so we could see something like this in the future.

      I'm a developer: I use GPT 3.5 when I can for really basic programming/docs questions, GPT 4 for more complicated prompts. When I run out of messages, I go back to writing my APIs and testing them with Postman. Then when I can use GPT 4 again, I can test my newly updated APIs. It works, but it is annoying.

    I just migrated and the transition feels like a mess, they don't upgrade your plan but actually charge you twice, so it's 20$ plus $25 (if you were naive enough to pay for a year in advance) or $30, you can cancel your plus subscription and it seems to still works, however you can't transfer your conversations.
    I'll probably use it for more 2/3 months but I'll probably be migrating to the open source models in the future.

      That's going to take a little more work than just plain chatgpt. You'd have to set it up specifically to do that. It can be done, though, with a little work. The thing that I think might need adjusting is the real time. If you were more specific about that I might be able to help you out. I mean as long as you have access to that data you need it to read then it should be a piece of cake.

    Another great video, thanks. Although I am not sure I agree with your conclusion as I am someone that daily hits the Plus usage cap (especially when building or working with GPT's that contain large knowledge files - eg 16 prompts every 3 hours), so 2.5x that limit is much better for me and my team. Also the fact that you can restrict the use of external GPT's that are fundamentally insecure is another positive with the teams account. And finally that you are by default opted out of training - makes us feel more secure - although Plus also gives you the option to "Opt out" of training so this may be a mute point. I'd be interested in your thoughts on my feedback?

    • @webcafeai
      @webcafeai  5 месяцев назад +2

      I find myself not hitting the limit that often for my current workload with GPT, but I can definitely see how that would be a major plus for some people. I find that, and privacy, probably the biggest selling points for me personally, though I wish it were just more cost-effective.

      My question is... they are advertising gpt4 32k in teams, so do we have gpt4 8k in plus, or gpt4t (in SOME sort of context) in plus?

    • @webcafeai
      @webcafeai  5 месяцев назад

      So, for 128K, that is referring to when we access the OpenAI API. In the context of ChatGPT, it will typically identify when you have provided too much information. The rule of thumb in speaking to these language models is that the less and more specific the data, the better the output.

    The Plus plan isn't even worth it to be honest. Don't get me wrong, it's great. It's just that they limit your number of prompts so severely that it's useless for anything but futzing around with. You can't even make 1-2 GPT's before you hit your prompt limit, and are forced to wait 3hrs to try to find that magic prompt that ChatGPT will actually obey more often than not.

    • @boivinlouis
      @boivinlouis 5 месяцев назад +5

      That's not true, you can make 40 requests every 3 hours. I use it a lot everyday and chat 4.0 is much more sophisticated than 3.5.

    • @BruceWayne15325
      @BruceWayne15325 5 месяцев назад +3

      @@boivinlouis more often than not, you'll find that the first prompt that you try with ChatGPT either will not give you what you want, or it will be unreliable, so you have to constantly tweak the prompts until you find that magic prompt that mostly works, most of the time. There's a reason that prompt engineering is an actual job description now. Sure, you can just throw in a prompt and move onto making another GPT, but I can guarantee you your GPT's will be all but worthless.

    • @anggara7549
      @anggara7549 5 месяцев назад

      @@boivinlouis I quite agree with Bruce, GPT-4 is impressive, I can confirm that, but it's similar to GPT-3.5, whether the free or pro version. If your way of asking is less accurate, less comprehensive, or less structured, then the AI's responses are often less precise or satisfying. Even though we've previously found good "prompts," sometimes those "prompts" become ineffective, and we have to create new question structures. The "prompts" we thought were correct sometimes provide unsatisfactory answers, possibly due to ongoing updates to the AI or errors from that end.
      So, the limit of 30 messages/3 hours (in my country) is indeed too restrictive; at least 100 messages or 60/3 hours seems more appropriate.

    • @DaveEtchells
      @DaveEtchells 5 месяцев назад

    • @BruceWayne15325
      @BruceWayne15325 5 месяцев назад

      @@DaveEtchells yeah you get a message saying that you've reached the limit and it will tell you what time you can make more queries. I ran into the limit all the time because I was making image based GPT's and anyone that has worked with Dall-E will tell you that it takes a lot of prompt engineering to get the perfect prompt that gives you exactly what you want 99% of the time. You can get a prompt that works sometimes very easy, in one or two tries, but if you want to test your GPT a lot to find out how reliable (or unreliable) it is, you're going to hit that limit super fast as you tweak, then test, then repeat.
