I bought a MAGIC THE GATHERING Commander Masters Set Booster Box, 24 Packs for 100 Australian dollars, can anyone recommend what i should do? open them or sell the packs?
It's just under $275 for a box of this following current TCG pricing. Not factoring in uncommons (because A, it'd take forever & B, most only really want the rares & mythics) and only accounting for any rare or mythic at or over $3 (to weed out bulk) this box is around $245 in value. Not only is this set a Jeweled Lotus or bust setup, but even getting a Jeweled Lotus as happened here still wasn't enough to make up the cost of the box unless you want to nickel and dime the uncommons and sub $3 cards, and even then, it's still doubtful.

@@derekstoll1282 I am merely using a measure to answer the question in the heading of this video as to if buying a booster box of this is worth it. The measure I'm using is simply does the box pay for itself with the value of the cards within or not? Certainly possible, I have it happen roughly 75% of the time. Depending largely on what set I bought at the time usually dictates whether or not it was worth it.

That was a fun box. Lots of really good cards and at pretty decent prices for singles.
There are some decent cards in this set. I havnt had a chance to buy much from this set but I will probably get some more packs soon.

Jeweled lotus the great henge , demonic tutor,ect are NOT busts
If you’re expecting to get $275 in value back from every $275 you spend on sealed product, you need to reevaluate your expectations.
