I have no problems with a long video. It was really interesting seeing all the cards they added to the set and openings on youtube are the only way I am going to see it lol.
the convention box isnt the best deal compared to previous boxes, but im not just looking at it for value, i want to make a cube from the things in the box, only reason i cant do just the mystery boosters is because some of them will have a basic land card in them, or some sort of land that isnt really usable unless its able to be built into the cube like snow lands. if they all were like multi or utility lands i would go with just the mystery boosters, but I'm gonna have to throw in the collector packs to it to round it out and give some breathing space for making things works.
Came through looking to see how common the future sight frame foils were, feel pretty lucky now for sure. Got a foil Pox and a foil Dark Ritual out of my box. Pricing the dark rit is gonna be tough for a good long time I think Edit: the foils were basically the whole box apart, literally the first and last packs opened.
got mine today, cracked to build 2hg decks and sealed, nothing too too $$$ fire but some nice stuff I didn't expect. foil flusterstorm probably top hit
I only opened the secret lair, and collector packs. But I pulled a demonic tutor in one. I ended up with a 120.00 in singles there, but the wilds of eldraine collectors pack only had about 4.00 in it. XD it's amazing how bad, or amazing, you can pull.
Did you price check the Gix? $300+. It's the third most valuable card in the set atm. That's insanity. I got a really solid foil myself but the video isn't up yet
This is an interesting set. Incredibly fun if you're doing draft or sealed, but incredibly disappointing in terms of expected value. Some really awesome new looks, though. Some of the white borders are amazing.
So, after the box I opened, and compared to all the videos Ive seen so far, I've come to the determination that a ton of these boxes were mapped the same. Over half of my box was exactly what everyone else got, too. That's sad on WOTC's part of you ask me.
I find the box quite expensive 435$cad with tax and shipping and probably the customs which will be added but hey it makes for an interesting draft because I will also use my last box of mystery booster retail for draft
All the cards from that pack are "exclusives" from each festival. That's why it's festival in a box. For people who couldn't make it to each event or just want extra copies ig. Ponder is from Chicago and plains is from Las Vegas. I forgot where the maro is from

That Gix is worth about $350. Sell it asap and it pays for the whole box and then some.

The Gix is probably more rare than a Kaladesh Masterpiece. There's on average 1 foil per box and the Gix is off an only foil sheet.
