@@Footballrs also I can’t find any vids on it, even though you don’t review much youth stuff can you try to review the Douglas JCP youth shoulder pads as well? My son is upgrading from his xenith pads and I wanna get as much info on youth pads as I can to get the best ones
I guess the big question would be how they compare against X-Tech on an impact test. I love how these look and would love to switch but wouldn't compromise protection for it.
There's a lab that tested the arches of all the mainstream brand shoulder pads and found the arch on Vicis absorbs the least impact, around the same level as Xenith Velocity while being over a pound heavier
@@shixiongyu7434 they put a sensor under the arch and hit the arch with a helmet delivering 1000lb of impact force. they then see how much of that 1000lb gets through to the sensor. the less force that gets through the better the arch material is at absorbing impact
They put all energy in making it LOOK good like ppl gonna see it SMFH. Everybody wanna streamline their pads like XTech but their foam is the magic that allows them to get away with that. That Vicis padding looks very sus to me coming from a guy that played FS.
750 is crazy considering xtech rules right now for $200 less but maybe they’re that nice who knows
Maybe U can wait for a 20% off and just $50 difference!
@@shixiongyu7434 I got the Xtech pads and they feel amazing and look badass too
750 for the serious players I guess, like college level or NFL level. It probably helps a ton
@@kendricklamardrake Most NFL players use Xtech, Douglas, or riddell
Xtech is 550
Yes can you do the battle defender shoulder pads!
we on it!

Can you review the “Pro Gear SL edition youth shoulder pads” and the “Riddell Surge Youth Shoulder pads.”

I really don't know how they do this test. But I found Xenith V2 light performances better than spk? It is really wired!

we thought about making a video about that test... there are a lot of issues with what they did..
Yeah $750 definitely isn’t worth switching from my Xtechs.
the half n half stache tho...

shoulder pads should not be a price this high at this point it’s just greed amongst the equipment companies
