This just confirms that teaching is a gift! Ron Clark is gifted with the art of teaching. No doubt. Imagine if the world had more teachers like him burning with that kind of passion! Great movie. Good message.
I'm a Teacher who was excluded from school until I went to university. Now when my students play up I Dont let them walk over me but I Dont kick them out either. I face them like adults and lay the rules without coming across patronising or intimidating like most of my colleagues.
Awesome as a teenager and a high school student myself I am willing to learn from my teachers how much more wonderful if they can add to my motivation.
Mr. Clark visited my high school when I was in the 11th grade. Our school took on Mr Clark's teaching and the school has had some success. They did Ron Clark style classrooms and the teachers taught in ways that we're fun for the students. Mr. Clark is a great person and teacher. I hope he keeps teaching in wonderful wats like he does. It makes a huge difference.
He's a very inspirational man! Hats off to all the Mr. and Ms. Clarks in the educational field. I believe that children are our future and take my hat off to all those who believe likewise!
+Richard Hutchison Well said, sir. Why be a negative force when you can be a positive one? We could easily learn a lot from you. I can see that from your comment.

Our School District had the honor of Mr. lark coming and speaking to our staff as our Welcome Back. I have been teaching for 20 years and this man has truly inspired me as an educator. He is great and I am happy to say that he is truly inspirational. Thank You, Ron Clark!
I came to watch this movie because of Matthew Perry but after watching it, I have a nee definition of respect for Ron Clark. Matthew Perry has portrayed him in a very sophisticated manner. This should have been relaesed worldwide screens and not just on DVD.
Awesome movie! We need many more teachers like Mr. Clark, who bring out the potential in everyone and don't give up on troubled students who cry out for help by being difficult. Love it!
The movie's a complete rip-off of the 1995 film "Dangerous Minds" starring Michelle Pfeiffer as LouAnne Johnson! But then I'm sure you'd be well accustomed in ripping people off! ;)
This makes me miss my dad. He was going to major in business, but when he heard about the teacher shortage, he went where he was needed. I'm immensely proud of the man he was, and happy to see teachers who care so much despite being paid so little. But rest assured they do get paid one way or another.
What a lovely comment Brenda. I’m sure your dad will be looking down on you as an immensely proud father, just as you are as proud of him. Your comment left a tear in my eye, but also a smile 😊. God bless you and your family Brenda, I wish u all the best in the world, take care lv xxx
Wow! Matt Perry showed a side we didn't know.... He was fabulous!! Brilliant! And I didn't know there was a super awesome teacher.... Unconventional.. teaching....if it's gonna help troubled kids.... Some kids.... society forgot about or doesn't have time for troubled teens....kudos to Ron Clark! Those are the stories that touch my heart!!!
I've had tears in eyes after the movie. Brilliant actors and children actors. It's a big lost that M. Perry is not with us anymore😢. We used to be like those children, but in the end we all graduated with flying colours. We had a lot of good Mr Clark in our school back home. We learned the hard way of discipline and patient to learn before our test. 😢. Classic movie with 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟Bravo! Bravo! Bravo! 👍👏👏👏👏👏👏
This made me cry for more than a few reasons. When that poor boy was sobbing, "I am nothing, I am trash," it rang literal echoes of a boy close to my heart. I thank God my husband and I were given the chance to love him back to believing in himself and to keep him safe. And also because of Matthew himself. This was just a reminder of why I've always loved him. RIP sweet, funny Matthew. You will forever be missed. ❤
Really good movie, I am a native born New Yorker left in 97'; missed this story of inspiration and perseverance! All you need is a chance and a lot of "true" Love, I call it the Love of Almighty GOD & Christ, always working, even when we can't see Him! Thank you and be blessed!
Wow, What an incredible story. It literally brought tears to my eyes. Mr. Ron Clark is more than an amazing teacher , he's a blessing to children who have lost their way in the educational system. His dedication to these children is something rarely found in today's schools. I guess it might be safe to say, if a student find one self assigned to a teacher with the surname Clark , ( Joe and Ron ), They'll be educated from a sincere, devoted and loving heart.
This was in 2006. Matthew looked v alert, bright, and healthy. Wish he could have hung on a little longer and gotten the medical help he needed. Wish he could have found someone that kept him grounded. What if he had moved out of LA and back to Canada for a few years? Could he have beat the addiction? Matthew, u will be dearly missed. :(
GREAT MOVIE!!!!! The ending had me crying like a baby. Continue the good work Principal Clark!!!! I LOVE watching the videos that are posted of you, the teachers, and students at your school.
Well I’ve finished the movie, cried my behind off, really and truly an inspiring , uplifting and motivating movie! Matthew should’ve gotten an academy award for his role in this movie! A golden globe award! Thank you Matthew for making a difference. Thank you for helping those kids do the right thing , thankyou for pushing them to want to study and get the grades they deserve. I started this movie awhile back and left it alone , glad I’ve decided to go back and finish it! 😢😊
I am a teacher and just went to his Academy yesterday in Atlanta, Georgia. The man still teaches! I was able to watch him teach a math lesson to his 5th graders! It was a life changing experience to watch him teach and to see his staff teach using his philosophy! He STILL does home visits to this day!
Such an amazingly outstanding teacher. Going way beyond and above to do whatever he could just so his students would be successful. This is kind of like the movie the freedom writers. If we had more teachers like him, we'd have so many more students graduating.
This, inspiring, compelling, motivated movie of one teacher never give up of kids that were never given a chance because of their low social economic back ground, everything was against the odds, but one thing he had was to believe all these kids had value in society, he saw there gifts, talents, and most of all those kids started to believe in themselves, the education today has to be taylor made to that individual, to enjoy and passion in why they want to learn and achieve their goals in life, Ron Clarke did more than that he saw leaders, achievers, if there one thing we all can learn is not about throwing money at the problem, its about working through issues to bring a solution, the world over to conditions by the Governments , and the powers to be, its about time that this movie go to every school in every country in a simple solution that I’m sure can be done in any school world wide, make it enjoyable and fun, and the most important of it all as practical to learn.
Oh! My! I haven’t finished this movie yet and what courage , what bravery Matthew is determined to really make something out of this group of students, to be somebody and someone in life . Just like Dr. King would have wanted it . What a movie! Gotta finish it!😊
This was a good movie, very inspirational. in-spite the negative feed back, this is what kids need, some one to listen and guide them on the right track. Remember, you was once a child.
I had a teacher my Sr yr of High school Mr. Gideon. I wish I could find him to thank him for everything he did for me. Ron Clark is an amazing teacher who didn't make judgements at first appearance. He saw the potential in all his students.
Beautiful Matthew Perry! What an inspiring story! He is a great actor! I am totally in the story, forgot impossibility and believe in possibility in spite of the weight of the world on me all alone.
+John von Horn Thank you, well, I am Greek, but I'm studying English literature, haha. It's nice to hear that someone likes it. Lots of problems, but a nice place indeed.
I watched this show while contributing to a manual for new teacher on the importance of getting to know your students. I am here crying like a baby; snot runnimg down and all. I pray i will develop Mr. Clark's patience. Very heartful and inspiring story.
I've been watching this movie since my senior year of high school, nearly 8 years ago. I've had my share of discouraging teachers but I've also had my share of Mr. Clarks. I absolutely love this movie. It inspired me to want to teach. Unfortunately, my patience is low and my self control is no where near where it should be for teaching. I commend this man. I love everything about him and I wish there were more teachers like him.
This is one of the priceless educative movie I did watch for the first time in myself. And it deserves the most movie awards in all time. I wish a had such a marvelous and caring teacher like him in my school days. It looks like they ain't no dump student for real, they only need a caring teacher like him.
I note some the comments below, some are positive forward thinking, good thinking pals and some negative outright hostile which is sad for Mr C was able to reach out to them with and dedication to teach them self worth, respect, discipline and improve their prostect for success when others "the system" have shunned and they reponded. He talked to them rather than at them. Children from deprived areas do what they do best ' survival ' in the face of adversity, politicians are too busy featheing their own nests to care. Lord knows we need the likes of Mr C in our inner cities. Very moving and inspiring movie thank for uploading it
I have watched this movie many times and never tire of it. I feel schools should have this movie in there library to show our children that positive discipline can and is effective. You can do anything!
I am so pleased I found this story & to be able to see Ron Clarks work & play. Interaction with his students was absolutely awesome considering their environment they lived within, their achievements totally mind blowing & knowing their love for their teacher certainly made him a valuable asset to their growth. Thank you for sharing this movie Alvaro.
I loved the beginning, with the boy who had to go out with the trash. This was no way to teach a child with a learning disability, or was it a teacher with a teaching disability, where the problem lay? But what I loved was that Ron Clark knew how to change the sadness in the boy's demeanour and future life. Good movie
Great movie about very dedicated teacher. The problem of our education system lies on how the whole education is hanging on the test results rather than the value of education itself.
i came from a very rich country. Police and government took my sister and me out and went out of hell i thought first. Unfortunately we get from foster to foster care and i went up with 8 years in a Institution. It was like in a military base i served later with 20 years. i got nothing in my life. never nothing. no one who believed in me and my class teacher where that mean to me because i came from that institution. I cannot describe how i went that faraway out of the society and the community. Today i getting 33 years and i have nothing achieved. Respect for those kids who get out of their situation with such an great man and teacher. My faith in humanity is restored. Thanks for sharing that movie

Anshu - you are wrong - teachers with self respect don't put up with that sort of behaviour, neither should they as they are human beings with lives of their own. I have seen so many newly qualifieds who start off like this and end up quitting or becoming ill and that isn't respectful of the profession. Parents need to bring kids up correctly to respect adults especially teachers.
I can never get tired of watching these types of movies. 1st one I watched was To Sir With Love. The world needs these type of teachers. Imo Mr Perry played the part beautifully.💕
I saw the first scene of the movie on Ig and the next minute I was already watching the movie. I am stunned! One of the best movies I've ever seen, it is amazing! And the fact that is based on a true story makes it even better! Absolutely wonderful. Matthews performance was incredible and outstanding, he was the one for this role. May he rest in peace 🙏❤️
Thank you for making this accessible to the public. Matthew Perry did a great job portraying Mr Clark and I have no doubt this movie has inspired teachers to continue to push for great ideas & approaches towards education.
dont give up, dream big, set up your goal higher the best as you can... and always respect others no matter who they are, what they are, where they came from. no matter what the color of theirs skin, religion and beliefs.. we are all human being.. humanity matters the most.... thanks for inspiring us Mr. Ron Clark...... thank you sir thank you
Alvaro Berroteran Thank You soooooo much for this movie, it was magical and the fact it was a true story makes it exceptional Ron Clark is a true super hero... My Dad was a teacher and really helped a lot of his students out. Never really appreciated how tough his job was till I met some of his former students and how highly they talked about him...
What a guy! So encouraging, supportive and caring.Ur an amazing teacher Mr.Clark.The very type children or any student need to attain their potentials.A really wonderful man!
My favorite part was even when ALL the other kids were at the opera, Mr. Clark went back for 1 because he wasn’t there. He was the lost sheep! 😢😭 I loved Mr. Clark. Sparked a light in me.
As a teacher myself, I love this movie! I've visited his Ron Clark academy in Atlanta, Ga. He is truly an amazing educator and very inspiring! His Essential 55 rules hang in my first grade classroom and I implement many of them. I also had my picture made with him during my visit to the RCA and it's also sits in my classroom, along with an inspiring message written on it from the amazing RC!
I have watched this movie over and over again. You hurt for children who are brought up under such circumstances. I'm so glad there are people that care more about others than themselves. Teachers work hard with little pay or gratitude, but they do it because they love to teach!
I love this film. I have the flu and came to watch it again. I wish this was how all teachers are when I went to school. I feel I would have done so much better with a teacher like that.
Matthew Perry was amazing on Friends, but he was phenomenal in this, too. RIP, good sir. ❤
💯✌️❤️🫶

Im sure you can make it, just dont give up on your original intention no matter what struggles you may face in the future.
Thank you for these lessons in such a inspiring role, Matthew, rest in peace!
this is a mark of a gifted teacher...Great Movie!
I had been meaning to watch this years ago..great job Mathew Perry! May you be at peace .
2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
Thank you for sharing this movie Alvaro.
i cant get bored of watching the movie over and over again.its truly a nice movie.
trying to do a work sheet on this movie for me?😂
I loved the beginning, with the boy who had to go out with the trash. This was no way to teach a child with a learning disability, or was it a teacher with a teaching disability, where the problem lay? But what I loved was that Ron Clark knew how to change the sadness in the boy's demeanour and future life. Good movie
Beautiful movie. Matthew was perfection in this.
He is filled with love. This is the most important ingredient for this kind of profession❤❤
Teachers of 2014 need to look at this movie. Help students instead of bashing them
They do show it which I love
Many teachers of 2014 are a lot like Mr Clark and don't "bash" their students.
Haha. Ten years wow
Had me in tears! Reminds me of "Lean on Me" and the teacher's name was Mr Clarke (Morgan Freeman)
Me 2
..always space for a good soul
.. on this piece of earth..!
...bless to all teachers!!
One of the best movies I've watched. Every teacher should see this and reflect on it.
FILMS VAN WHOEPY GOLDFYER
Kudos to Ron Clark! We need more teachers like him! Excellent!
I actually clicked on a movie on youtube, and it was actually the movie instead of a link that doesn't wok. YAAAAAAAASSSSSSS
I'm such a cry baby ...I teared up so much while looking at this movie.... Mr Clark is such an inspiration!!
Absolutely amazing actor, still carnt believe he's gone, what a natural down to earth bloke ❤
Came from TikTok, great movie imo, great acting from all the actors/actresses, great story to be told👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

He is like Mrs Marva Collins
Tacos _99 there is another true story teacher a white lady who is a good real teacher in real life
Man, I’m gonna miss him. RIP Matt Perry.
Yeah, so dejecting and infuriating because he was on tv shows I used to watch...
I am just speechless
How amazing was this film
Watching this story for the first time nearly make me cry...I love yhu all from Sir Clark to the last student especially the Jamican Girl ❤
Thank you for making this accessible to the public. Matthew Perry did a great job portraying Mr Clark and I have no doubt this movie has inspired teachers to continue to push for great ideas & approaches towards education.
He's love for childern , N showing them that they can do it .N they learned to believe in them self ...what a beautiful teacher !
This movie made me think a lot. As an educator, I belive that every kid has a unique talent and can be sucessful in their own way.
dont give up, dream big, set up your goal higher the best as you can... and always respect others no matter who they are, what they are, where they came from. no matter what the color of theirs skin, religion and beliefs.. we are all human being..
humanity matters the most....
thanks for inspiring us Mr. Ron Clark...... thank you sir thank you
Such an inspiring story! Thanks Mr. Clark for believing in them!
Great movie and Mr Clark... you are a great example of a great teacher that our world needs.
Matthew was brilliant in this. An incredibly gifted actor. Gone too soon.
What a guy! So encouraging, supportive and caring.Ur an amazing teacher Mr.Clark.The very type children or any student need to attain their potentials.A really wonderful man!
This movie is heart touching. Can you imagine if we had more teachers like him.
Oh there are a ton of them in the area I live in
Some in mine mostly in elementary not a lot in junior high like 3 which is good but 1 of them is my teacher that's it
Rebekka R jails would be empty
That would be good.
My favorite part was even when ALL the other kids were at the opera, Mr. Clark went back for 1 because he wasn’t there. He was the lost sheep! 😢😭 I loved Mr. Clark. Sparked a light in me.
Who your favorite character
As a teacher myself, I love this movie! I've visited his Ron Clark academy in Atlanta, Ga. He is truly an amazing educator and very inspiring! His Essential 55 rules hang in my first grade classroom and I implement many of them. I also had my picture made with him during my visit to the RCA and it's also sits in my classroom, along with an inspiring message written on it from the amazing RC!
Could you share his 55 rules, please
Awesome movie! The cast was tremendous! Loved the movie! Matthew Perry should have won an Oscar for his role!
I have watched this movie over and over again. You hurt for children who are brought up under such circumstances. I'm so glad there are people that care more about others than themselves. Teachers work hard with little pay or gratitude, but they do it because they love to teach!
the Indian family was beautiful! reminds me of my aunt
Great movie!! All danm teachers should be watching this!!
I love this film. I have the flu and came to watch it again. I wish this was how all teachers are when I went to school. I feel I would have done so much better with a teacher like that.
❤ 🫶🏽 Absolutely loved this. What a great movie to watch in memory of Matthew Perry. R.I.P. 🙏🏾
