This movie makes me appreciate the musical so much more!! The story hits me so much harder at this stage of life vs. when I first saw the musical at 11 :,) I’m surprised the lighting/color grading wasn’t a critique for you!! I thought it was weird/bad at times 😭 p.s. the bottle does become important in Act2 I think…to determine elphie’s paternity 💚 genuinely don’t remember though LOL

lol I don't remember either!! AND it actually didn't bother me, I didn't notice it until others talked about it, so I didn't mention it as a critique. I thought it actually fit really well. I loved this film, and actually saw it again yesterday... but very different experience haha so IDK! haha but I adore it overall. Thanks for the comment Leah! And thanks for making it through :)

I’ve seen the Wicked movie twice now and I think it’s phenomenal. As a longtime Wicked fan, I was SO impressed by the set and choreography. I also have to mention how Marissa Bode is the first Nessa who uses a wheelchair IRL. Broadway has a long way to go with inclusivity! I see what you mean about the Emerald City scene being slow and long (my aunt felt the same way) but I didn’t mind because the vibes were fun lol

Its annoying to see you spread these alleged runours about Ariana and Ethan's marriage situation. Both were separated from their partners which was reported by multiple new outlets but ofcourse everyone chooses to believe what best fits their narrative.
