The preciseness of every move, breath, line. It’s insane to me how incredibly professional each of them are. A real respect for these actors and this work of art….bravo!
Got to love how everyone goes on about how amazing the film was, but no one gives Tolstoy any credit on his genius as a writer! The book far surpasses this.

Music is usually the last thing produced and is never used in the background of scenes your describing. I think this was an exception since it would be hard to have a group of people dancing without one central rhythm. But normally, scenes would just go on as they would in our normal lives, music is added later.
Alicia Vikander has got such range. She was so graceful and danced so elegantly in this movie. And then we have tomb raider where she's a badass. And then The Man from Uncle where she's sarcastic but super adorable. Watching her in different movies is like seeing completely different people because she changes her mannerisms so drastically. LOVE HER.
Poor, poor Kitty in the dance sequence where she realizes what is going on between Vronski and Anna😢😢. I feel so badly for her because her heart is completely shattered. How many people can relate to this? And let’s not forget poor Dolly 😢. The book really hits home what she went with Stiva
Well, naturally before the actors do the scene they listen to the song. Sometimes it is played while filming too, but then edited later so that the movie has a better and clearer sound (sounds like footsteps and such are cut off).
He looks like a literal angel, he could be a huge inspiration for those artists like Michael angelo centuries ago.. matter of fact they probably had someone like him in mind for their artworks... Keira is wonderful too
I understood :) but the whole movie was a fusion of dance/theater/cinema..even the other parts which seemed to be "not dances" was choreography :) p.s. I've sent you a personal message with link ;)
yeah, i think it really does help you as an actor (i think personally, i act) to get into your character more and really feel the emotions in the scene better, especially if its an emotional/dramatic scene.
they were dancing a specially created dance, where every detail is it's own place, has it's own meaning.. that's why the music is playing. how else would they be able to perform the dance? :)

How Keira didn’t fall in love with Aaron during this I don’t know. I did just looking at pictures 😂
This is an amazing movie. I loved the way they filmed it, making it look as if it was a theatrical drama.
Qual o nome do filme no 🇧🇷???
The cinematography! The casting! The sets! The visuals! The costumes! Absolute perfection 🌟
Why is Aaron so perfect?

One of my favorite movies. Its really amazing how they built the stage and shot it.

We can not compare the diamond to any other stones.

You should watch ex machina and the danish girl, she's incredible in those roles :)
@@juliabutter6448 YEAH she was fantastic in the Danish girl. Haven't watch Ex Machina though. Maybe I should give it a go
Mediocre at best! Ruined the movie for me. 🤢🤮

@@haley5735 he is played by the same actor
@@sydn3ymurray he’s not. Levin is played by Domnhall Gleeson and Bingley was played by Simon Woods.

Aaron is so gorgeous. I’m so jealous of Keira 😂
KK is married, isn’t she?
I already had a lot of respect for this movie, but now even more. The camera settings, especially during the dance scene. God damn!
Such a sad love story
watch the face of aaron in the
rehearsal hahahhahaha omg!! was really hard to learn the choreography I love Aaron and keira!!
I find it funny how the ball/dance scenes are so awkward without music!
thank you for posting this! such a delight to watch!
Kiera Knightley plays Russian roles perfectly! She is very beautiful. She makes her partner more handsome.
0:18 beautiful Aaron!
S. Y. Definitely a pretty boy!

Its much help to dance with the music. they record soundtracks before they film normally, i think. then they played it while they dance, to help.
Кити очень красивая. Чудесная
Love this movie♥️
I think it helps them while they are dancing. To know when to start to Dance and if they need to dance slower or faster
It was amazing
Waterloo - water before shiting, NOT water after shitting!!!

Yes, i would presume it was to set the mood.
Does anybody remembers what rhytmic music was played between takes?
Well, they have to dance to something, don't they?
Can someone please tell me the name of the song 04:40-04:51 ?🙏❤
It's not in the score, the closest to it is the second half of She is of the heavens
