What’s the best school food? 😂
The square 🍕😋😋😋
Pizza 🍕
Here before this comment blows up
Pizza
PIZZA
I hollered when he said “aren’t they supposed to be getting nutrition at school?” 😂😂
Omg me too, I laughed so hard.
Nowdays schools serve spoiled food and drinks and really don't care
It’s funny to me how he talks about it again after the donut. The donut is actually full of nutrition and is the healthiest thing out of all of them.
Shocking, isn't it? So your tax dollars are being spent to essentially give your kids non-alcoholic fatty liver disease and other metabolic syndromes. There are people and organizations fighting to get real food back into the schools. As you can imagine, that's a tough fight when the food industry has millions to throw into the fight.
@@Rengodium”full of nutrition” lmfao
“Unless I’m hungover and it’s cold from last night” lol the Mexican dads are great
You guys really cure my boredom. Eating lunch and watching this. Pure gold. Can’t wait for more 😂.
Poor kids today! I ate breakfast at home: cereal and milk, or buttered toast, or a poptart. Every day I made my own lunch to bring to school. A peanut butter and grape jelly sandwich, a bag of chips, and either a piece of fruit or a couple homemade cookies for a sweet ending. I'd buy a carton of milk, but I rarely ever bought the school lunch. It was just cheaper to bring food from home. I think I would buy when it was cheeseburger day, but I was happy with my pb&j sammies. I was a little jealous of those kids that had store bought cookies, like oreos or chips ahoy, but hindsight is that my mom's homemade chocolate chip cookies were better, and made with love.
thats actually really sweet. omg. 🥺
Sweet but cereals are just plain sugar
Butter toast isn’t healthy
Pop tart isn’t healthy
Sandwich is hardly any nutrition
Chips are unhealthy
It's heartbreaking how their comments definitely reflect the reality of the school lunch situation in many parts of the USA, just because "some people" want to slash the budget.
Thats Capitalism.
This has nothing to do with capitalism. School is a socialist type economy setup where funding is voted on by a governing body, not by competition. You need to relearn what capitalism is.@@kylelandon5618
It's also so people can afford it. $2-3 lunches ain't going to get you much sadly.
@@kylelandon5618???????
@@kylelandon5618 yeah because kids on communist and socialist countries have buffet for their school lunches.
This is exactly why I make my kids lunch to take to school.😊
Am I the only one that liked trashy school lunches? And we did not call that breakfast pizza. We called it school pizza and it was fire dipped in ranch. But then again, we were lucky because our school served pretty big portions for lunch. Then I worked in the cafeteria, so I always got extra food. My favorite day was taco salad. We had the best taco salad ever.
I like my schools food but it can make me feel kinda sick since it’s pretty oily
The fact schools even give out ranch dip seems so foreign to me. -- student from 28 years ago...
The fact that you liked those school lunches is by design. Whoever got the contract (which I'm sure is quite lucrative) fully understands how to make food that hits the pleasure or addiction centers of your brain. Fructose is definitely a chemical that triggers it.
@@WadmanP so unhealthy but tasty at the same time
What makes this worse sometimes this is the only meal a kid gets f**king heartbreaking
This was one of the best papah videos ive ever seen , i have never been so understood im my whole life im glad they now know what kind of lunch they fed us in school 😂
The smell of Super Donuts in the morning is nostalgic for me.
School lunch was the worst 😂 especially elementary school
We are so sorry 😂
As a 38 yo American and seeing my kids going through school i feel like meals for school have gotten so much worse😢. Their meat is barely cooked all the way through anymore it’s so Damn sad. I prefer to make their lunches now.
The breakfast pizza my school served had a white sauce that tasted like more cheese, it was one of the good things I looked forward to
Yeah same
my had with gravy with egg and chees and sausage on it and if you were lucky it would have bacon on it too
one of the few, but yeah. I never understood why they serve such starchy and nonnutritious foods in schools. Then I remember how corruption works in this country.
“I’m glad my kids are not in school anymore.” Wtf you think they ate while they were there? Lol
it was better
back in d day
This is so sad. I went to public school in the 70s and 80s. The only meal they served was lunch. It was 25 cents. Milk (regular or chocolate) was 10 cents. Lunch was always a hot meal. There was a meat, veg, a starch and dessert. Example: spaghetti with meat sauce, a green salad and French bread, Jello or a cookie. My favorite was the Thanksgiving and Christmas lunch of turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, green beans and pumpkin pie. Occasionally they would serve hot dogs or hamburgers or pizza.
It is. I went to school in the 70's and 80's as well. We were given 3 choices. Hot lunch line, giant salad bar line or the snack shack.
Kids are given crap now. It's not even food.
@@tinytt854 We only got the choice, hot lunch or a la carte, in junior high and high school. Hot lunch was like the food I mentioned above. The a la carte was hamburgers, pizza, etc. The food was cooked daily by the "lunch ladies", not "heat and serve" like what those dads had to eat. Seriously, it would be less expensive and more nutritious to make the lunch children and bring it to school, even if it's hummus, a hard boiled egg, vegetable and cheese sticks, crackers and grapes or some other fruit.
They stopped serving thanksgiving type of lunches when I was in Elementary (around 2008-2010). Last thing I remembered was turkey with gravy and rice or unseasoned mash potatoes, stuffing, green beans or carrots, and milk or juice was available.
@@shelly6115 That's sad. Thanksgiving lunch at my school was awesome. The teachers and most of the students bought lunch that day. The turkey wasn't the highly processed turkey deli meat either.
Those breakfast pizzas right in the morning with the carton chocolate milk was always on point! Lol
Well the US has no traditional food ... everything is fried or meals from another countries
I didn’t have school lunch in middle and highschool but my elementary school was sooo goood. When people say school lunches are so bad I can’t relate. We got absolutely spoiled with ours. Volunteering for lunch duty was the best. You could get a little extra and the main school cafeteria chef guy would give you popsicles after on your way to class. It was a smaller school just inane I should add that
I always volunteered. Free lunch. The food was good back then. I graduated in 1987.
el papá de camisa verde es tan tierno , le encuentra el lado bueno a todo jaja
You forgot the little dipping syrup that is usually sided with the French Toast sticks :P
Man in the 80s when I was a kid the lunch ladies actually cooked food and it was delicious. My dad was a young single dad and drove bus for the school, for some reason at the end of the day they would pack up some of the leftovers and send it home with my dad. We ate the hell out of that wonderful food those kind ladies gave us.
A request!! Mexican dads try Indian/Nepali food!
Yes because they already did it with the moms
Wow they listen to requests quick, unless it was a coincidence lol
Request: dads try asian food
They tried Korean food recently
@@jamon.428what about chineese and japaneese
that makes no sense, asia is a continent with hundreds of different cultures and foods
@@pridhvi4789 you know sharing your rude opinion wont help right? And it doesnt change papah’s opinion either. They may agree with you but not just bc you said it.
@@adamtherobloxian9974 😖 no one made a rude comment, prid was just stating a valid comment
Great video! I used to get my food from the school cafeteria, but I stopped getting lunch because the lines were too long and I was getting tired of it, so instead I just packed my own food from home. Saves a lot of time too lol.
papah is truly my comfort series , can’t wait for other upcoming episodes!!!
LOVE papah and these videos 🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤
Thanks for always watching, Daniel! ❤️

7:40 brought back so many memories, because my mom was like that. If she cooked it you ate and that was it
Same here. I raised my boys the same way.
Does anyone know if the Papahs are married to the mamahs? It would be so awesome to do a papas vs mamas thing - like 'Papahs guess which african snack Mamahs would like' or ' Papahs guess which tamales is made by their Mamah'
Super donut was my childhood back in my days!! I miss those
Loving the Papah series!!
Bro vicente’s gestures and way if talking is hilarious and pretty entertaining.
Lmao! This one was so good. I love them. Also really helps my Spanish to listen to them.
I love this channel and the dads so much lol 😂
These dads are so cute.❤
Yeah our school lunches are something🥲
Love y’all’s videos though
Them super donuts were bussin warmed up !
Hii finally adults understand the pain we go through
Not only did they understand... they ate the pain 😂
Lol

i havent gone to highschool in over 12 years and i still remember these breakfast and lunch items lol
my 6a highschool in Owasso Oklahoma, with like 5,000 kids on our TWO campuses between 9th and 12th, we all collectively lived on those Bosco sticks, they were the holy grail of food. That was LUXURY.
Fries were the only thing that seemed safe enough to get at my school
As An American, I Got So Nostalgic Watching This Video! 😁😁👏👏😋😋😀😀😃😃
In the 90s we had fried chicken, cheese burgers, pizza, fish sandwiches.basically the fast food lineup of today and it was fuckin great! Toasted almond ice cream bar for dessert.mmmm.
I love they way all of them attack the foods while trying to eat them! They are sort of gagging out their responses! I have to admit they all sounded dreadful, even if they were served with other items. A gross food is a gross food, no matter how dressed up. Love these guys!
Dude! Arturo you're showing your so cal roots! Also i remember having french toast sticks and we got four of them with a packet of warm maple syrup and packet of butter. But it was still sad!
i used to LOVE bosco sticks as a kid!! i guess the quality went down bc while it was very doughy, there definitely was cheese!
They’re definitely still good, they had to have overcooked them or something.
Thank you to the only guy pointing out the lack of nutritious food in American school lunch !!!!!!!
The mamahs hated Bosco Sticks 🤣
Low key me too 😳😂
they used to be pretty popular when I was growing up. they were a la carte and like $2-3. I had them a couple times and they seemed to have more cheese than those ones. this would have been 2004/2005
In my school it was pizza everyday even mornings. We sometimes got to choose between pizza and something else but pizza was never missing
That pizza, mozzarella sticks and chicken rings used to slap back in the day with ranch.
lmao @ the one guy just saying "are you serious?" when they asked him which one's the "best"
Good to see nothing has changed 🤣🤣
I like the one in glasses with the purple button up he’s cute ❤
Back in 2001 I used to eat 3 breakfast pizzas before first period NJROTC and I was full til I got home.
Miss them pizzas. The other stuff I never had at my school
Just shows how much they care about kids in American school when I was in my first year in a American grade school as a transfer student I ate cafeteria breakfast and lunch. After that day I just made stuff at home before school and brought it for lunch.
Was waiting to see those wow butter sandwiches
Que fiera el Vicente 😂 saludos de España!
That why I would always stop at the corner store before school that food wasn’t gonna last me and I could barely call it food
It’s crazy how we used to rush for those bosco sticks back in the day 😂😭 kids would be planning on skipping lunch but would run to the line after seeing someone with bosco stickers and that clump marinara sauce
I wonder if they would have loved taco nadas
Those taco nadas were my favorite In school ❤
OMG MAXX STIXX!! Omg I can’t believe y’all got those for them, they’re the best and I miss those the most.
I love the one passionate dad. Im a big foodie. Growing up i didnt get even school breakfast unless I had money(even then i only got it when i knew the food was good otherwise id wait till break)
Hes speaking my mind. "You feed my kid this? What?"
Definitely don't miss these days, graduated highschool 5 years ago and college food at the food court is worth the price
I’m just as angry, disappointed, disgusted, and upset as the dad who said we’re going to have a zombie kid apocalypse lol. The food is not it. We as parents need to do something about it, or provide their lunches everyday so we don’t have to worry about their health while they’re at school. It just means more effort on our end to put pressure on the school districts or make lunches, either or.
I always got sick and threw up when I eat the school lunch to the point I just didn’t eat until I got home🤷♀️
So do something about it
I am angry , disappointed , disgusted and upset with your thinking that you feed nutritious food to your kids when you guys don’t even cook daily and rely on reheated and leftover
Man i love Maxi sticks, and with my school you can top it with salsa and sour cream
Everytime I see these ‘school lunch’ videos I feel like I went to a bougie af HS bc we had named franchises and nothing that was like this stuff. I had this kind of stuff in middle school haha
"Iriswariris"... I felt that...
¡Chido!
As an immigrant I always enjoyed school lunch. It might not have been a 5 star meal but I was always happy to have warm food. I never complained.
We also had uncrustables (which i dont eat) and jamaican beef patties at my middle school and high school. Those patties were top tier 🤌
I used to take those bosco sticks in school, bite off the end and pour marinara inside of it. Tasted amazing.
Hello i wanted to kno Which supplier did yall get the pizza from? I been looking for that pizza for years
Arturo has me rolling, without even trying. 😂
I recognize some of these. My school actually had a decent balance of stuff with veggies, but the veggies were completely unseasones. canned spinach and steamed carrots and cauliflower. We got the milk cartons, potato smileys, chicken parm, chicken tendies and those plastic mashed potatoes with the yellow chicken gravy. It might look like crap growing up but back then that was fuel dude that shit slapped
Hi papah!
Hola, Michael!
@@PapahChannel hola 👋🏻
Request dad try jail food 😂
The super donuts where my favorite growing up
My brothers & homeboys in prison eat better than kids at school 😐
Bosco cheese sticks and chicken rings were always my go to in school 🤧😭
man where are yall geting this school food this is heaven compared to what iv been served
Ah, the memories. Undercooked bread-based "food" was the biggest problem back then, but I haven't been able to realize it and express it until now.
They had a junk food line wrapped around the cafeteria in my school, and a hot plate line that was always empty. I ate hot plates because I was hungry and didn't want to wait. It was fantastic usually, I guess they gave up finally. It's a shamr
The one speaking English always hates everything 😂
Bosco sticks were the best! We only got them like once a year though.
I wish my dad was like one of these dudes 😂
"The bread expands as you chew" YES
Breakfast is literally so easy, Waffles or pancakes, sausage and eggs, milk water or juice, some fruit, other days do breakfast tortilla or something
Mas fluffy 🤣 that all our dads who got an accent
So early lets go love me some papahchannel
Hope you enjoy the video, David!
Picssa 😂😂😂 I’m dead lol sounds like my tio it’s frenfries
I miss breakfast pizza 😢
That sausage breakfast pizza was fire back in the day.
In there minds:WHY DID YOU MAKE ME DO THIS I'LL GIVE YOU THE BELT😂😂😂😂
“Fren fye”
“Està con us vasito de leche, o su jugito, ya pasa para desayunito. Hahahahaha quedo en verdecito😆” 10/10 dad moment
the dad with the almost full white beard was the best he knows why we get home so hungry
I love the Max cheese sticks at my school they come with marinara sauce
Going to list some nasty stuff every American student has been served.
Boiled strawberries
Boiled carrots
Boiled hotdogs (there is also a school rumor in elementary school that they bounce if you drop them.
Hamburgers but the patties are paper thin, and they are kept in a bin of burger grease
Soggy french fries
Soggy tater tots
Chocolate milk with ice in it
An off brand, not toasted, wheat bagel.
This mixture of boiled peas and corn that is so mushy
Cheese stuffed breadsticks that are soggy and the cheese tastes and feels like rubber.
Tell me if I missed some!
up until a few months ago my school lunch on some days my food would be hardly cooked and fried things were straight up boiled
