HEY in Chicago many nice places stick to the northside you will love it, home sweet home.
Joseph Lyon’s grave is beautiful!!! I have never seen a gravesite quite like his ❤
I agree!
Wow. I’ve heard about Lake Michigan but this is the first pics I’ve ever seen.
And little Josey- his mom must have been devastated. Nice tribute to her baby boy.
RIP To All that Have passed away since .🍁🍁
Interesting video sir the statue of the little boy Wow thank you
Thank you! That was one of the more interesting ones I’ve seen!
My Mom would tease me with my Dad how I like visiting cemeteries then when her Mother passed away and I went with her to my Grandmother’s gravesite, we found a bench sat and talked for hours. It was a beautiful day and time flew by as we just sat and talked. She came home and told my Dad, “Your daughter really likes visiting cemeteries. We talked for hours and then she started walking around looking at the head stones. I was surprised to see how much she enjoyed looking at and reading the head stones I looked at my Dad and said, “It’s quiet, peaceful, and I enjoy looking at people’s final resting places. It’s fascinating to me to see a person’s name, their date of birth/end date, sometimes see their occupation and some people’s final resting spots their tombs are amazing architecture and again…It’s Peaceful!” My Dad said, “I get it. Next time, I will go with you, so i don’t have to hear your Mother.” I laughed and said, “Yes, it is quiet and peaceful 🤣 Chicago South Side is full of cemeteries 👍.
Cemetery -empty? NO! Not empty.

Boy you really get around the States from all I have seen, you were just at Inglewood Park, a day or two ago, and I am glad to have subscribed. Thank you for the tour.
Outstanding. I'd been hoping for ya to stop by here! When I first saw the O'Brien plot with the head Igot startled. The lake being so close gives a haunting yet calming vibes. I visit here multiple times a year.
This is one of my favorites in the Chicagoland area.
@@FreyzelProductionsFirst female mayor of Chicago Jane Byrne is buried there.
Thank you for another interesting video. I love cemeteries and only live a couple hours away from there.I'm going to have to go see that cemetery soon.
Cool video. You should do another trip to CA and make new videos on the famous cemeteries there!
Thanks. I will be before long. I still have quite a few from last trip to edit and post as well!

Is there a Ferlin Washburn in that cemetery ?
Thanks for doing this again and sharing with all of us.
That Joseph Lyon one is beautiful I think.
Very lovely piece of art.
I wonder if they put that capsul around the Joseph Lyon boy to preserve it?
I am a yard statue person and some of my statues are falling apart on the bottom and my sister told me I have to put a coat of sealer on them every year to preserve them (I guess from the elements) which I did not know.
I have always gone to cemetaries also and find them peaceful.
Death is a part of life.
I have had lunches at cemetaries and just sat to think.
Hope you have a wonderful 4th of July weekend.
Thanks Martha, it really is an amazing monument. Have a great 4th!
Beautiful cemetery. Have to ask, are alot of these people laid to rest were rich ? Or is stone work cheaper there than other places ? Beautiful pieces.
There does seem to be a lot of folks there with means or status in society.
its MASSIVE been in there before and you will see foxes and deer
Harry Joseph Powers (1859-1941) was co-manager with Will J. Davis of the Iroquois Theatre in Chicago
